Tip: put a wire mesh fencing type walls around the air compressor roof, to avoid vandalism and idiot accidents, including burns from leaning against running machinery in the Texas both winter and summer.
I'm from Ireland, even in a snowy winter, those compressor machines, I'm fairly confident, can burn your hands if you touch the outer body /metal shell cover, of the motor.
Just have a large over hanging roof to reduce rain being blown in the sides by strong winds.
Maybe a lean too roof against the factory wall.
If you build solid walls instead of wire mesh walls, then you will dramatically reduce the efficiency of the system, especially in a Texas heat, that presumably will turn that thing into an oven, the wire mesh provides cooling air from outside.
Plus, the large roof will provide shade to these machines that are most efficient when cool and in an extremely well ventilated area.

9:45 "i actually need to build a little house around this" my first thought.... being i worked over a decade in a retail warehouse.... building a little house isn't as important as building something to lock up around the machine... being anywhere you have a machine like that outside, and not secure... people will steal things, be it the whole machine, or you'll come outside and find the motor missing, the compression pistons, the flywheel, and in one case.... a whole 90gallon compressor went bye-bye one night at my work.... so yeah... securing it would be a cool idea..... rain coverage is an after thought then

@Raven Gaming Official that;s "IF" he catches them in the act of doing it.... i worked retail for a decade. as i said.... i've seen all kind of things you wouldn't think of going missing, go missing..... hell i witnessed after the fact, a $400 plasma welder disappear from the store..... like they left the box and the instruction booklet. but they took this 4ftX3ftX2.5ft welder, and just walked out the store with it.... this is something that would need at least two people to carry.... but it went bye-bye like cigarette smoke in the wind.
again, he'd have to see them for the pew-pew to matter, best to build a mesh housing and lock it up unless working on it. hell, technically him having a forklift, by osha regulations, his spare tanks have to be left outside to prevent potential hazards. so i hope he's got a lock box ready for that.

Make sure you run moisture traps all over for the air compressor. Trust me you’ll send me a Thankyou and a prayer. You’d be astonished how much moisture is fed to machines. Reconsider the standard blue hose too. There are better insulated options. You can also run a moisture trap like those used by semi truck systems on the screw compressor outside too. It’s kind of crazy the damage caused by moisture created by compressors.

Matt - Keep both Conex containers. You'll probably need the extra storage space from time to time. IN THE MEANTIME... you probably want to take one of those bad boys to the mansion and use it as construction storage for the more mobile items that you don't want stolen.

After everything that you have gone through over the last year, you definitely deserve this. Congrats bud!
I'll never forget the day we moved our 16 station 14 color printing press to a new warehouse teetering on a forklift at the old shop I supervised in. We didn't dismantle it at all and only have about a foot total of clearance through the bay door, it was a pretty stressful move to say the least.
30 seconds into the video: Mere is driving Earl today for the first time.... this is going to be a good vlog.

Matt should watch some really heavy machines being moved. I had to have an old electron beam welder moved. Just the door to the machine weighed 30,000 lbs. that was fun. Had to knock a hole in the side of the building to get it out.
Merideth needs her own channel to see things from her perspective. She has the beauty and personality. Yall are my favorite couple to watch because that will be me soon, accept I am building completely off grid. Thank you for being AWESOME!!

I have an idea that can help you organize all your black bins. Color code them. Anything Large size and the bin is Blue, Medium size and the bin is Red. Small size and the bin is Yellow. Extra Large and the bin is Green. Extra small and the bin is white. XXL and the bin is orange. Color coding helps with inventory as well as order shipping.
So buy yourself a bunch of canned spray paint and start painting the bins.

What’s awesome about Matt and his channel is he isn’t trapped in only doing RUclips. After he wants to stop (which I hope he doesn’t) he has other businesses to support him. He used his channel in order to make himself better (everyday)

Calling it a pond was a bit of an oversell. It was merely storm water retention to avoid overloading the storm drains, and so probably not nearly as big as we would imagine.

You can use the extra shipping container for ammo storage. Also, I used to work in the fork truck shop in a large chemical plant with close to 100 fork trucks that ran 24/7/365. Do yourself a favor and ditch the propane fork truck and go to electric, you won’t regret it! Yale, Clark, Toyota are all good ones.

I guarantee that, barring some unforseen circumstances, that you'll not only fill up Bunker 2.0, you'll be expanding the building in 5 years. That compressor and chiller you have will look tiny in comparison to what you'll need for the expanded building. I'd suggest buying more land nearby right away, you may even need a second building. I know this from working 20+ years for a print shop. We've moved once, expanded our main building three times, and added a second building plus expanded that building once. We aren't even the biggest company in the industry for the type of printing we do. I can tell that Bunker Branding has the potential to be one of the biggest printing and embroidery shops in the industry.

Of the many awesome aspects of this vlog one that I appreciate the most is it felt like it was about long enough. So often the only complaint I can make is they seem to be over before they begin. You could have edited out 6 minutes of content from this one and stil had an awesome video but you didn't. I would love to see much more of that in the future. Congrats guys very exciting!! Looks more & more like a Boerboel pup each time I see it. Easy with large breeds jumping from high places and wooden floors while their hips are developing.
When I coached Jr High basketball at Ballinger, Texas, knock out was one of my favorite free throw shooting drills. The kids loved it as I always participated in it and they all loved knocking me out, which was rare. Thanks for mentioning that game, it brought back so many really great memories.
