Still going through your backlog. The modelling is fantastic mate and the descriptions of methods and demos clear and helpful. Im looking forward to when you get around to the station build. For render ive used lightweight filler on the country station watered down to a paste, works a treat when painted.
Have you modelled for long...? You're easily one of the best i follow

Has the owner of the van done a runner? Those windows are quite dirty and make the van undrivable. A great story though, especially as the model has personal connection.

Thanks for watching. 😂 I may have forgotten to mask the windows prior to spraying matt varnish! I will be sure to fix the over spray at some point, either by scraping off the varnish or simply replacing the plastic windows themselves.

Hi there, you popped up in my suggested list, I'm not a regular.
Just wondering when you say you covered the MDF in "wood glue", do you mean PVA?
If so, you'd probably be safer just painting it on both sides, as PVA seems to still absorb moisture after it's dried.
Probably not an issue unless you get a lot of high humidity. Cheers!

Hi there, thanks for watching! Painted the whole lot on both sides with gorilla wood glue which I watered down a little to help it soak in. It is effectively a slightly thicker pva.

@@HorsehayRailwayModeller Ahh I believe the Gorilla wood glue has some waterproofing additive in it, so no problem there.
