Merry Christmas Graham to all your family and yourself hope Santa brings you something nice ,I’m hopping for a cute Filipino I know 😂😂she’s my friend 😊😊😊
Great lighting level and effect Graham, handrails on your stairways are effective well done, really enjoyed watching this video, many thanks for sharing and don't let the cold get to you take care Barry..🥶👍👍👍
Absolutely nailed the lighting, it really enhances what was an already excellent station building Graham. Those central bannisters are a superb bit of detailing too. The WH Smiths is bang on, they had one of some sort in nearly all stations at one point. If i may add something, maybe a couple of brutes, over by where the parcel trains go. They used them for the mail bags. We used to sit and plonk our bags on them, when they weren't in use and watch the trains go by. Really enjoyed watching the station revamp and a great job you've done too. You may need your thermals on up in the loft now.🥶 Very enjoyable watch. Thank you for sharing this video Graham. 👏👏
Thanks, Mickey. I've really enjoyed this build and found it hard to put it down. Got loads more detailing I would like to add but need to balance it as so not to clutter things too much. Inside the bridge and concourse next, I reckon, might let it warm up a bit first. In answer to the brutes, there's at least 4 at the end of the platform full of mail bags, so no room for sitting on😁, but they are probably out of camera shot. Cheers mate 👍
With every addition of detail, you're adding more layers of realism 😍 which helps evoke nostalgia which i think is the driving force that inspires us modeler's to create these miniatures of wonder 🤩 Thankyou for sharing your layout with us! ❤
Fantastic work my friend ,they only thing missing is the smell of diesel ,damp concrete and brake dust these stations use to smell like and jayes fluid disinfectant in the karzie All the best mate Mark ,keep warm up there 😊😊
Your electrical skills are top notch. I can barely solder. I’m not yet anywhere near doing lighting but I hope to eventually. Amps, volts, ohms, resistance…..it’s all Greek to me. My dad is the electrical engineer and does all that stuff with ease!
I am a aging electro/mechanical engineer ready for retirement, but I'm always willing to pass on knowledge. Glad to help anyone and enjoy applying it to the hobby. Thanks for watching, atb Graham 😊👍
Thanks, 👍 for the rivet counters the sound is a class 66, but I think it fit's quite well, imo. I'm glad you agree. That's until one day I manage to get the actual sound for it. Cheers Graham 😊👍
Hi Graham, great see more on the layout. I think those lights really look very effective. If nothing else, just to neaten it up, perhaps cut corresponding holes a strip of thin card painted the same as the underside that you can fit over the LED strips under the canopies so that only the LEDs show. Just thought it might make the light softer still and make the individual lights stand out more 🤔 Brilliant idea using simple plugs so you can separate the different parts. Makes maintenance a hell of a lot easier I bet! 😜 Plus it makes adding any additional details later much easier too 🤓 Great stuff mate, hope you managed to warm up quite soon after! 😅👍🍀🍻
Thanks for all the feedback Tim👍 Great to hear you enjoyed the watch. Hopefully I can pass on ideas like this and in turn learn to improve my skills from other people. That's what it's all about I guess. A baileys coffee is a great warmer. Cheers Graham 😊
@@WHP1980s: haha, yeah we kept ourselves warm yesterday with coffee made with chocolate milk with additional Austrian liqueur flavoured with honey walnuts which is just magical! 😜
Thanks again to everyone for watching, seasonal greetings Graham 😊
