Hi there, Greetings from Belgium. I find your viaduct impressive. A small trick I use to make big trees is to build the trunk and main branches from florist wire, create the bark base with pva and toilet paper, then finish the trunk and main branches with polyfilla and water mix (creamy consistency) then sprinkle fine gravel dust. The canopy isobtained by gluing seafoam 'clusters' (removed flowers of the seafoam) and glue them to the end of the thin branches and some with longer stems lower on the branches. I finish by spraying (misting) glue from a gluecan or hard hairspray then noch leaves. Seen this done on RUclips but learned it two decades ago from a fellow modeller gal (passed away since 😢) and used it to great effects, even on some of my 1/35 dioramas like my WWII scene of a bombed german cityhouse called "Sad homecoming". Hope it'll help you for future projects.
Beautiful work! The stonework painting is outstanding. The overall scene is spectacular. We work in different scales and with different techniques but I still learned a lot. Good stuff!
Absolutely stunning, that has to be the best modelling I’ve seen the viaduct is fantastic 👍. I’m really looking forward to seeing your layout progress, great effort. Cheers, Mike 🤗
Great video and fantastic work. It’s always nice when someone shows you the process rather than just the finished state so you can learn new ideas and techniques. Consider me subscribed. Cheers
I wish it was scratch built 😅. It is two complete wills viaduct kits assembled together took some sanding to get it to go together correctly but came out okay
@@markmaw8 I am flattered that you'd ask however I really don't have the time as I work away full time and can only really do the hobby properly on fleeting visits to my parents. But maybe in a few years
The build video, techniques and finished Viaduct is nothing less than incredibly impressive. Realistic is definitely an understatement.
Thank you you
Love the way you only play 70s music when ur near completion...charming son, lovely layout.
That's ridiculously good.

Thanks very much for the tree tips, I'll be sure to try this method in the future
A real masterclass - thank you for sharing.
A quality piece of modelling and inspiration.
There are a few videos using this standard viaduct kit but the results on the video are about the best. Impressed.
Thank you very much, it is a very good kit just takes some fettling to get together nicely

Hi David. It's great to see you back at it and producing some quality work to create an excellent video with great results.
Hi mate, thank you very much. Glad to be back even if progress is sporadic

Really nice work.❤ Hi from nz
Thank you
Did you make the viaduct yourself mate?

Well it looks absolutely outstanding mate. I've seen countless model railways and the scenery you have achieved here is 2nd to none!
@@markmaw8 Thank you very much. I really do appreciate it.
Would you do a commission piece if I ever wanted something similar?
