Yes I noticed that too! I have recently been on a bit of a Norm MacDonald "marathon" and saw the other interview, which was a earlier Larry King interview. He tells the story of being invited over to Carson's office were they both did their impressions of Larry King. But this repetition of stories and change of endings got me very suspicious of why Norm would do this. My most plausible theory for this is that Norm is testing Larry to see if he remembers it and he also turns the ending of the anecdote into a joke.

And whatever that may be, i believe its something thoughtful and extremely profound.
A great interviewer interviewing a great interviewee
I love how Norm lights up when he hears that Larry was good friends with Gleason. Also how Norm gets Larry to laugh. I could listen to these two talk forever.
I love Norm, not for this interview or anything he said here. I just love him, and not in a gay way either. I just would love to sit next to him on a very long flight, and he would probably hate it...😉
Sounds like you're a
*deeply closeted gay man*
Never wink while trying to convince someone you're not gay.

This great man is with the Lord.
Afterwards they went under the Queensboro Bridge.
The soft hands...
God damn I love the respect given here, two titans
Thanks for posting. I've always loved Mr. King's interview skills, but this interview was outstanding!
Mr. Larry King, thanks for these Norm uploads 😍
Norm McDonald is amazing and honest though and one of the best living comedians of our time.
Norm is a comedic genius.
I love Larry's direct questions.
