Great vid! I play Sabian for over 2 decades now (mostly a mix of AAX/Paragon/Signature) but these Rudes are just perfect for Metal/Hardcore! They have a certain presence that is unique and especially the crashes and Sound Edge Hi-Hat make me drool. 😜👍
They do, the Rude Thin crash… and they’re incredible cymbals. Actually very versatile. I like the Wild crashes though, much better than the Rude crash/rides.
All very very nice, even if I do not like thick cymbals, I prefer big but thin. What I do not like is the second Hi-Hat (maybe 'cause it is closed?) and I am disapointed by the Power Ride. With 22 inch and Power e I expect more.

Too often it feels like cymbals wash out, collapse and lose their stick definition for this style…not so with Rudes. A good ride from this series has stick definition that just pings perfectly on top of the band, no questions asked…

@@demonicsweaters are you sure for this?Rudes are the most durable series not only in paiste brand but at all brands and also they are and the loudest cymbals ever made so the hard hitting isn't so necessary and are almost the most chosen cymbals for metal studio works both with 2002 & Signatures.In US most studios suggests Zildjian A custom.The next series with similar durability like rudes are the discontinued series Zildjian Z custom.Sabians all are great cymbals in sound quality but isn't for hard hitters cause they brake easily.My friend has a 16"explosion Crash broken within two rehearsals, All Instambul,Agean, Amedia,Anatolian or Murat Diril even if they sounded amazing isn't for hard hitters too.I don't know any other brand that have more durable and loud cymbals than Rudes.
@@Drumsholic Loud yes, sound great, yes. Durable, no. I've been playing over 30 years, professionally most of those. I often dent rudes the first time I play them. This is different than breaking them obviously, which probably happened about as often as others for me, but they definitely dent easier. I think because of the way the B8 Bronze is in a more raw state on the Rudes they just are a bit softer than 2002s etc... For me the most durable Paiste line I have played are the 900 series. I have some that I have wailed on insanely hard at the same time of the Rudes and they come out unscathed.

i don't get some of these trash stacks! I been drilling my own cheap brass ozone to place on top of a thin hammered zbt b8 crash, then same sound result. Just like ozones, you can get cheaper chinese b20 crashes that sound not far from a china and ozone together. I suppose a cheap brass ozone will not last as long, but drilling a ozone crash with any alloy is so easy! I know brass is entry sucking, but look at brass snare drums sound! It's kind of funny how expensive brass and copper snares are!

I love rudes, but they're definitely not durable. The dent far easier than most other cymbals, and even other Paistes.
