1. How is it that the earth makes a spherical shadow on the moon on a lunar eclipse?

If we have Flat earth Daytime in the USA should be daytime also for the Philippines because the earth is Flat we should receive same amount of sunlight.

I have observed sunset and sunrise over an ocean, a number of times. The size of the disc of the sun appears the same as it does at noon and it appears to rise/sink from/into the ocean. Can you provide a better explanation.

Do flat earthers know they can book a trip to Antarctica or the north pole? It is very easy to find. Go see the ice wall or “edge” for yourself, document it for the world.
I've seen a flat Earther claim the tourist trip takes you to an Antarctic peninsula out of sight of the ice wall. As for independent explorers crossing the continent, I think they just claim they're paid actors.

Humanity has known Earth is round for a few millenia, and I’ve been meaning to show more methods that prove the world is not flat. I’ve had a few ideas on how to do that, but recently got an interesting incentive, when Phil Plait, The Bad Astronomer, wrote about a recently published BBC article about “The Flat Earth” society. (Most recently, rapper B.o.B. went on a Twitter rant on the topic.) Phil claims it’s ridiculous to even bother rebutting the Flat Earth Society-and I tend to agree. But the history of our species’ intellectual pursuit is important and interesting. You don’t need to denounce all science and knowledge and believe in a kooky conspiracy theory to enjoy some historical factoids about humanity’s quest for space.
Aristotle (who made quite a lot of observations about the spherical nature of the Earth) noticed that during lunar eclipses (when the Earth’s orbit places it directly between the Sun and the Moon, creating a shadow in the process), the shadow on the Moon’s surface is round. This shadow is the planet's, and it’s a great clue about the spherical shape of the Earth.
LUNAR ECLIPSE
Since the earth is rotating (see the “Foucault Pendulum” experiment for a definite proof, if you are doubtful), the consistent oval-shadow it produces in each and every lunar eclipse proves that the earth is not only round but spherical-absolutely, utterly, beyond a shadow of a doubt not flat.
After returning from a trip to Egypt, Aristotle noted, “There are stars seen in Egypt and…Cyprus which are not seen in the northerly regions.” This phenomenon can only be explained if humans were viewing the stars from a round surface, Aristotle continued, claiming that the sphere of the Earth is “of no great size, for otherwise the effect of so slight a change of place would not be quickly apparent.” (De caelo, 298a2-10)
The farther you go from the equator, the farther the "known" constellations go towards the horizon, to be replaced by different stars. This would not have happened if the world was flat:
If you stick a stick in the (sticky) ground, it will produce a shadow. The shadow moves as time passes (which is the principle for ancient Shadow Clocks). If the world had been flat, then two sticks in different locations would produce the same shadow:
Imagine the Sun's rays (represented by yellow lines) hitting two sticks (white lines) some distance apart. If the Earth were flat, the resulting shadows would be the same length, no matter how far apart you place the sticks.

Eratosthenes (276-194 BCE) used this principle to calculate the circumference of the Earth quite accurately. To see this demonstrated, refer to my experiment video about Eratosthenes and the circumference of the Earth.
5. Seeing farther from higher
Standing on a flat plateau, you look ahead toward the horizon. You strain your eyes, then take out your favorite binoculars and stare through them, as far as your eyes (with the help of the binocular lenses) can see.
Next, climb up the closest tree-the higher the better, just be careful not to drop those binoculars and break their lenses. Then look again, strain your eyes, and stare through the binoculars out to the horizon.
The higher up you climb, the farther you will see. Usually, we tend to relate this to Earthly obstacles-like the fact we have houses or other trees obstructing our vision on the ground, and climbing upwards we have a clear view-but that’s not the true reason. Even if you stood on a completely clear plateau with no obstacles between you and the horizon, you would see much farther from the greater height than you would on the ground.
This phenomenon is caused by the curvature of the Earth as well, and would not happen if the Earth was flat:
6. Ride a plane
If you’ve ever taken a trip out of the country, specifically long-distance trips, you could notice two interesting facts about planes and the Earth:
1. Planes can travel in a relatively straight line for a very long time and not fall off any edges. They can also circle the Earth without stopping.
2. If you look out the window on a trans-Atlantic flight, you can, most of the times, see the curvature of the Earth on the horizon. The best view of the curvature used to be on the Concorde, but that plane’s long gone. I can’t wait to see the pictures from the new plane by Virgin Galactic-the horizon should look absolutely curved, as it actually is from a distance.

The Earth is different from other planets, that much is true. After all, we have life, and we haven’t found any other planets with life (yet). However, there are certain characteristics all planets have, and it will be quite logical to assume that if all planets behave a certain way, or show certain characteristics-specifically if those planets are in different places or were created under different circumstances-our planet is the same.
In other words: If so many planets that were created in different locations and under different circumstances show the same property, it’s likely that our own planet has the same property as well. All of our observations show that other planets are spherical (and since we know how they’re created, it’s also obvious why they take this shape). Unless we have a very good reason to think otherwise (which we don’t), our planet is very likely the same.
In 1610, Galileo Galilei observed the moons of Jupiter rotating around it. He described them as small planets orbiting a larger planet-a description (and observation) that was very difficult for the church to accept, as it challenged a geocentric model where everything was supposed to revolve around the Earth. This observation also showed that the planets (Jupiter, Neptune, and later Venus was observed too) are all spherical, and all orbit the sun.
A flat planet (ours or any other planet) would be such an incredible observation that it would pretty much go against everything we know about how planets form and behave. It would not only change everything we know about planet formation, but also about star formation (our sun would have to behave quite differently to accommodate the flat-earth theory) and what we know of speeds and movements in space (like planets' orbits and the effects of gravity). In short, we don’t just suspect that our planet is spherical. We know it.
8. The existence of time zones
The time in New York, at the moment these words are written, is 12:00pm. The sun is in the middle of the sky (though it’s hard to see with the current cloud coverage). In Beijing, it’s 12:00am, midnight, and the sun is nowhere to be found. In Adelaide, Australia, it is 1:30am. More than 13 hours ahead. There, the sunset is long gone-so much so, that the sun will soon rise up again at the beginning of a new day.
TIME ZONES
We have time zones because when the Sun is illuminating one side of the spherical Earth, the other side is dark.

This can only be explained if the world is round, and rotating around its own axis. At a certain point when the sun is shining on one part of the Earth, the opposite side is dark, and vice versa. That allows for time differences and time zones, specifically ones that are larger than 12 hours.
Another point concerning timezones, the sun, and Earth: If the sun was a “spotlight” (very directionally located so that light only shines on a specific location) and the world was flat, we would see the sun even if it didn’t shine on top of us (as you can see in the drawing below). Similarly, you can see the light coming out of a spotlight on a stage in the theater, even though you-the crowd-are sitting in the dark. The only way to create two distinctly separate time zones, where there is complete darkness in one while there’s light in the other, is if the world is spherical.
9. The pull of gravity
Here's an interesting fact about mass: It attracts things to it. The force of attraction (gravity) between two objects depends on their mass and the distance between them. Simply said, gravity will pull toward the center of mass of the objects. To find the center of mass, you have to examine the object.
A SPHERE'S CENTER OF MASS
On a sphere's surface, gravity will pull you toward the sphere's center of mass: straight down.

Consider a sphere. Since a sphere has a consistent shape, no matter where on it you stand, you have exactly the same amount of sphere under you. (Imagine an ant walking around on a crystal ball. From the insect's point of view, the only indication of movement would be the fact the ant is moving its feet-the shape of the surface would not change at all.) A sphere's center of mass is in the center of the sphere, which means gravity will pull anything on the surface of the sphere straight down toward the center of the sphere. This will occur no matter where on the surface the object is located.

In the real world there are however atmospheric effects of mainly ray refraction that tend to cause objects beyond the theoretical horizon to sometimes be visible. Thus the visible setting sun is usually a little below the theoretical horizon. In like manner, the effect is to increase the apparent height of distant peaks.

Also, the main argument for this narrator was the horizon being curved to our naked eye when ships travel away from you. I get this totally. So here is a common misconception. The idea that the Earth is spinning at 1000 mph is just ridiculous. We don't measure rotational speed in miles per hour. Nowhere that's not how you measure rotational speed. In truth the Earth is spinning half as fast as the hour hand on a clock. It's spinning one rotation every 24 hours. That's incredibly slow. Now because of the size of the earth that means that from a point in space the Earth at the equator is traveling over 1000 mph but that doesn't have anything to do with the experience on the earth. Because the the outward force of spinning is dependent on the rotational speed not on the speed at the edge. The amount of outward force is like .03 jewels of energy which is nothing that anyone would ever feel. So by using the wrong definition for speed it makes it seem like it's spinning this incredibly fast rate when it's really not.

First off, the tangential velocity of the earth's rotation at the equator is roughly is ~1000 mph. This just is true, if misleading. The reason we don't notice this is (as you implied) because of reference frames, and the fact that nothing (near the equator) isn't moving ~1000 mph (in the same direction).
Moving on,
The apparent acceleration from being on something rotating varies based on your distance from the axis of rotation.
The apparent acceleration at the equator is 0.0337 m/s^2, or a little over 0.3% of g (9.8 m/s^2), so you will feel 0.3% lighter at the equator than the poles purely from the effects of the earth's rotation. Ignoring units, this matches the 0.03 figure you cited, and like you said, the effects are negligible. The reason the effects are negligible is because they are dwarfed by gravity.
That said, the apparent acceleration at the edge of a 1 meter radius disc rotating once per day is about 10^(-8) m/s^2, less than a millionth the apparent acceleration at the equator of the earth.

Sure you can say it's traveling at 1000 mph at the equator but really that's just the wrong measurement to use. Miles per hour is distance traveled over the Earth in a specific amount of time. The only thing you cannot justify for flat earth is the sun and moon moving around the flat earth. It travels east to west around the one side then on the other side it goes west to east. on earth every continent the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. How does it recycle back onto earth. If it just falls off the edge, like in your video wouldn’t you say that the ocean or many oceans would drain out and there would be no water. Idk. Or does it somehow go under the flat earth and back to the oceans. I’m very curious.
I do not know of any flat Earth model that claims the oceans fall off the edge, except Discworld.

You have the amount of years wrong dude. Eratosthenes lived in Ptolemaic Egypt ~200 BCE so more like 2200 years. And he assumed the sun to be very far away. That experiment works on a flat earth with a smaller local sun.

- Even those who have chosen to serve their country in the most unselfish way possible, as soldiers, may even push themselves to take on the training, responsibilities, and risks of the elite forces.
SICK WAYS TO FEEL SPECIAL (in no particular order):
- This is why small communities can turn against outsiders so forcefully.
- This is why some people join cults and claim knowledge that nobody else has (this fits "flat-earth" real well).
- This is why, as some of us have noticed, some boys decide they are lesbians (They say they are girls, but they actually like girls, and thus they avoid taking on the responsibilities of men.).
- This is why some people make videos of themselves taking great risks for the internet (back-flips on the edge of a cliff, hanging by one hand off a tall building, etc.).
- This desire often factors in, though is rarely the only reason, why some individuals join violent gangs that they know hurt people.
IMPOSSIBLE WAYS TO FEEL SPECIAL (in no particular order):
- This is why people want superpowers.
- This is why people want psychic abilities.
- This is why people want to have the life of their favorite character (think "fan", game, movie, athlete, etc.).
- This is why some people have (this is not a conscience choice) their own private mental disorder (OCD behavior, narcissism behavior, passive-aggressive behavior).
- This is why some people feel they have to answer questions raised in RUclips videos with TLDR comments. (Wait, that's me.) Sorry.
Marvin that is an awesome underrated comment. It is basically a comment on society in general. And with the rise of social media this want to feel special is only exceeding since we get to see what every person from every continent does, rich or poor, Texas (conservative) to Cali (liberal), dictator to socialist, Saudi Arabia to Antarctica. This has only lead people to find more extreme conspiracies, and more extreme things to do like buying a mega yacht to stand out from everyone else. This I would consider being included in the impossible section as there will always be someone better looking, more wealthy, more athletic, more courageous in war etc. I believe the solution is to not compare what others do to what you do and just do things because you want to. And do them as much or as little as you desire. Steer your fate through life the way you want, to make you happy, and most importantly to not do things that impede on others ability to do so aswell.

If Antarctica surrounds the entire world it would be the largest "shore" on the planet and one should be able to reach the ice "wall/shore" if they sail far enough in a straight line in any direction (assuming a landmass isn't in the way of course). The amount of manpower, resources and time needed to keep a perimeter as gigantic as the supposed Antarctica one secure from being seen or photographed at all times would be frankly impossible. Humans can't keep completely secure borders that are hundreds of miles long, let alone thousands. Even North Korea's borders aren't ironclad to that extent.
Then there is the lack of explanation as to what could possibly motivate such a conspiracy. Profit? Any profit would be more than negated by the sheer amount of resources needed to even attempt to keep a planet wide coastline from being observed.

Many religious people believe God made the Earth perfectly, everything works perfectly because he made the Earth round. He made that for us and I know he is happy to know we are getting closer to discover more of the things he created, for humans!
Then Science comes and since humans can be incredible smart, we have known the Earth is round for over 2000 years ago! I actually offered a crazy flat Earther an opportunity to prove themselves but offering to pay for a complete trip plane boat helicopter all expenses covered, everything. I told them, pick your team, your route, anything you need and we will pay to get you to the edge of the earth since not one of the over seven billion people on the plant has strangely not done it yet😂. We seriously tried to get them to accept our offer, no expense spared. We just said you have to take one of our team as a witness to make sure the funds were actually spent and the trip planned. We would even provide all equipment satellite link, etc so they could live steam from the so called edge of the earth. Needless to say they backed out as did every single person in their flat earth group, chicken shits with only mouths, nothing more
