I live in Scotland where we have 3k people who have died from the coronavirus. No one here is trying the blame game, but are doing the best we can to protect the population as a whole by staying at home wherever possible. I look at what is happening in the USA with disbelief.

Everybody wants to joke about how he stormed off like a toddler bc he didn't like the questions, but why is nobody giving props to the reporter who tried to show solidarity with her fellow reporter by waiting to ask her questions after called on so the other reporter could finish her followup? I also admired how she was pushy to speak to Trump but also so professional about it. I behave less maturely when a teacher stops me from asking my yet another important question, and they actually have a good reason for moving on with class.
Of course I'm sure I would learn to behave differently if it was my job, I was interviewing the President, and I was on camera, but for now I don't know how I'd restrain myself from going, "Dude! You can't just do that! No take-backs, you called on me and now I AM going to ask the question you called on me for!"
They need to do it more. If he decides to ignore a question, other reporters need to follow up. He can't just decide to stop talking to someone to totally shut down a question.
The 'Federal Stockpile is 'our stockpile and states should have had their own stockpile' will be tweeted, meme'd and repeated endlessly in November.
Unfortunately the damages is already done though. My brother, as i'm sure other Trump cultists are doing, was parroting the word "Obamagate". Wondering aloud: Why don't the reporters adjust the microphones to each of their heights? Are they not permitted to do so? They look so uncomfortable when they have to squat and bend down in order to reach the microphone. You'd think one of them would raise it.

I've watched both Seth and Stephen Colbert for a while. Both are delightful liberal comedians. Before this pandemic was more of a Stephen fan, but I gotta say, Seth has been NAILING this performance without an audience. Stephen still pauses for laugher that's not there and it messes with his timing.
