The announcer is more excited about Ultra combos than I will ever be about anything in my life.
I'm so proud of him
This game has to have the most comprehensive dojo-mode I've ever seen in a fighting game. They just aren't covering their own unique take on a fighting game, but covering everything you need to know about playing 2D fighting games.
I'm perfectly fine with all this dojo stuff, because it's so in-depth from the game itself. I rather like Brett's delight in how thorough this game's dojo-mode is.

unist has an equally comprehensive tutorial mode. every game should have this stuff!

For anyone curious in regards to breakers, it's actually not as complex as it seems because you don't need to learn every move the opponent has. You can actually look at your own character and see the strength of the move. Lights, mediums, and heavies all make you recoil in certain ways (as they actually mentioned previously) so if you pay attention to that you can choose your break that way. Which is WAY easier to learn than every move, from every character, in every possible combination.
Also this game is fucking awesome go play it.

This series so far is basically Dojo Season 3. I love it.
This seems like a must-have for everyone who wants to get into fighting games, the tutorial is just SO GOOD
Only thing I'm waiting on YT to come out right now is this series. HYPE!

Man, this game is dope. If you guys are worried about people getting bored of you 'just' doing training, I just want to let you know that I am personally loving it and am finding it super fascinating! I almost never do training modes after going through the SF5 training mode and finding it... just kinda okay? But KI's training mode actually looks super legit! Like Santell said, it's like we're doing the Dojo all over again. Sure, it's taking a little while, but it's VERY informative.

I'm really loving this. Apart from the enjoyment value, it's very informative! I didn't actually know about a handful of this stuff, but now it's being taught to me
I kept going on about wanting some games played here, and some of it was fulfilled, so I'll keep up the hype to return the favor! KI is an awesome game and you guys are awesome, too! Watching these is like sitting next to you on the couch. :o

Good to hear you're gonna finish these tutorials next upload. I try to pay attention and absorb some of the stuff in these training mode breakdown vids but honestly I just wanna see some fights, so the sooner that happens the better.
I'm actually enjoying learning how people play this game, but I'm also excited for when I finally get to see it in practice.

I'm totally enjoying the tutorials. Its a good video to have running in the background while I do other work. Then, I flip back when the announcer goes apeshit.
THE INTRO MAKES ME MIND NUT EVERY TIME
The intro and outro for Super Couch Fighters are incredible. My GF even hums along with the various themes when they come on.
Brett, i will always watch you learn systems. It is one of my favorite things to do in games myself so i am learning along with you two. The difference being that i am not gonna play this game but knowing what i now know, i will understand what transpires during a match and how you or your opponent could have done better.

This game is fascinating. I love their approach to teaching new players.
I don't really care for the mechanics of that game. It seems extremely complex and open. But seeing both being amazed by them and learning something new is always entertaining.
Like I said the last video, just take your time, I LOVE seeing you guys learning this game, its super fun for me.

If they think Ultras were cool, wait until they get into online and an opponent performs an Ultimate on them
it says you completed 32 because you started with the combo assist versions of the training which doesn't count towards the initial 32 but counts towards the achievements. likely something they overlooked. Also, I'm glad to see Killer Instinct on this channel, I'm seeing some stuff I don't think was in the game when I played training mode.
