Lonely isn't a healthy reason to be with anyone.
I've been saying for a long time I won't do on-line dating. This past weekend I finally changed my mind and signed up on some Christian dating sites. That same day, one man messaged me and we met in-person the next day. We got along really well and agreed on the values and type of relationship -- as much as we could cover in the 4.5 hours that day and 4 hours on the phone. There was one thing that didn't work so it won't go further. But meeting this man gave me hope of what exists out there. I needed that!

I know for me on dating apps everyone I'm interested in are not interested in me (which is fine) and the ones that are interested in me I don't want to have sex with. 🙃

The times I do find one I think I might be interested in the say things like "I want a cuckold relationship." or that they only want sex. I kid you not, this has happened to me more than one time. And it will be people who say in their profile they want something long term! I don't use the apps anymore.

Nooo. I swipe on everyone, and then I judge them on how they interract - I block men who show low effort in a conversation, like "wyd", "hi" and do not want to talk more, do not ask me out fast. Many just want to chat forever or just are bored.

I've been watching you for a long time now. I don't know if others have mentioned it but I think you should let people get out their sentences before cutting in. You do it with guests, the ex, callers... it's hard to watch. But yet you insist they listen when you speak, like you did here. Love your work and your message today. I have tried Online Dating recently and the experience has been less than stellar. I have only met one man and we started chatting. After talking a couple of times, he proceeded to ask me to do somethings I felt as a woman and a human being, less then acceptable. I cut him off immediately. I was completely put off online dating. I have been single for sometime and live in a very small town. I will just continue to do the things I'm interested in and hope to meet someone of value that way. @@JonathonAslay I just checked their website again. I don't remember if you're in LA? But the only in-person in LA and in my city (or whole state) is for the Forum--no seminars. And actually, not even that in my state. There used to be normal in-person location a few miles from me. Bummer
The problem IS the apps! At a MINIMUM, dating apps should vet and automatically delete poorly written profiles. Women spend time writing great profiles for men that don't even read them, and have mediocre profiles. The worst is when men ask you something that is in your profile! I block and delete those men immediately.
