are the thumbs supposed to be pointing IN or OUT when you are doing the clean? I keep seeing two different versions. This version is thumbs pointing OUT. I want to do it like this, but I am being told this will hurt my elbows if lift heavy/do too many reps.

You could do one side at a time?
Burpee without jumping + Alternating Snatch or Alternating Clean and Press
