@@ollenilssonen hi, 1st i love photography but I don't know about it. So i want to know from you that which mobile is best for photos and videos plz tell me.
This video proves that if you put the Xperia 1 IV, or any Xperia in the hands of a professional they will produce amazing results. Most of the comparisons with the iPhone, Galaxy and Pixel put this phone at a disadvantage because the average user wants everything done for them by the camera. I loved this video and I’ve subbed.
Also they don't understand how a real camera works. Literally they don't know. So they think that over saturated pictures, that fake looking night vision, and the phone literally doing it for you is "photography"
Different audience. The other brands have social media ready photos whereas Xperia requires one to know what they're doing otherwise it'd be a waste of money if one cannot use the camera and video to its full potential if you think about it. You might take much more unappealing photos and videos compared to the social media ready ones. Different needs as well. Some people want a one time shot thing and be done with it and not use that time setting up ISO, shutter speed etc. where something important might already finish by then
@@innovert99 but the point we are making is that both approaches are valid. Whereas the OP is talking about RUclipsrs that say it's "bad" because it doesn't work like an iphone or Galaxy. Even though SONY's approach is deliberately doing the opposite of that. And should be assessed for what it's doing. It's like reviewing every car as if an SUV, automatic sedan, and manual sports car are made for the same type of driver, are supposed to drive the same, and give the same experience. When exactly as you say..... different audience. But that's how ridiculous so many of these tech reviewers are. No one is saying that computational photography and the phone doing all the work for you doesn't have it's place, and isn't the best way for a lot of people (especially those that know nothing about photography). But so does SONY's approach have it's place. And it has its own pros and cons too. Watch Tony and Chelsea Northrup's (they are both professional photographers) compare the Xperia, iphone, and galaxy in various types of settings and photo situations. They clearly demonstrate the pros and cons of both approaches. And the Xperia clearly produces better results in a number of cases. It's all about who is the audience, and what results are you trying to get. But so many tech reviewers don't at all evaluate the phones on that basis. Instead it's just a set list of boxes that need to be checked. And thus they arrive at "iphone=good, and Xperia=bad". Despite this being not true, and I would argue disengenious.
All the 4K 120fps footage have pretty smooth refocusing of object really didn't expect that from a phone camera, they tend to be jittery. Again, thanks for the fun video, just the experience and that's what we're here for.
First true Xperia 1iv camera review. This video has brought my desire to capture everything naturally as we see. Computational photography has really messed up real photography and its appeal to the masses.
"Computational photography has really messed up real photography and its appeal to the masses" Doesn't matter. at the end of the day, even Google's Pixel phones outsell Sony's Xperia line. It's Sony that has to better improve its Auto mode shots.
@@MithunOnTheNet Not really. At this point for anyone who's really paying attention, Sony is clearly more into making and serving their niche as opposed to trying to appeal to the mindless mobs. Given their blatant legacy at this point, they understand how their adopters appreciate having that control in their hands, being able to see what a Sony sensor can really do. Not what some AI/processing can vomit out!
@@MithunOnTheNet Doesn't matter? It does though. Every maker has a target audience and Sony's target audience doesn't really want them to do stuff like the others makers out there. People buy Sony because they know they can take the kind of photos they want, not overprocessed ones like in most smartphones these days. I was actually considering the Pixel for a short while but when I saw how overprocessed the images were, plus the lack of expandable storage...it was a no brainer honestly.

That natural softness is hard to find nowadays on smartphone cameras processing. I know these feelings for other devices also using third parties... Simply stunning! Great review!
@@modelistas1 Auto does NOT mean the phone should decide how the end results would look like. The Xperia's Auto Mode produces naturally great results with minimal to no artifacts due to laid back image processing that doesn't turn night into daytime and fine details into oil painting. The results from Xperia cameras are close to what you'd get out of a proper mirrorless camera, while results from the iPhones, Galaxies, and Pixels are easily identifiable as smartphone camera results because of their distinct image processing characteristics that look nothing like a real camera.

This phone is my wet dream as a cinematographer. Around 2011 when I started on DSLR's this level of quality was just pipe dreams, unless you spend over $15k.
Everyone is talking about how good the camera and the phone is..!
