I have bought rc 600. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to assign different input banks to different tracks, so that when i play a track the corresponding input fx bank is activated without affecting the track. I bought rc 600 assuming that it would be able to do that. This workflow should be the basic essential for a looper, yet rc 600 seem to have no way to do that. Is it possible to do that using external fx pedal? How do you use rc 600 with gm 800? Any tips or video link?

I have several tutorials on how to set up the RC 600 but I want to understand exactly what you mean. Are you saying that you don't want the individual track effects to apply to your tracks? You have to understand that there are input effects as well as what I would call output effects and they double up on top of each other but serve different functions. The output effects only apply to the tracks and the input effects only apply to incoming audio. So yes you certainly could set it up the way that you want and I don't understand exactly what I'm missing because you can have the input effects change based on the track. I didn't personally set it up that way but if that's how you want it you can do it either automatically or manually via a bank button. I set it up so that on page 2 instead of additional loops I have my pedal board input effects on the first four buttons and then on the last two buttons I have bank up and bank down to go through different pedal boards. This is how I'd recommend you set it up but would this solve your problem If you could just bank through different boards for different portions of the song? Understanding what you're trying to accomplish would help.

@@GearSounds i have the exact set up in mode 1 and 2 as you have it in yours. I want my corresponding input fx bank automatically activated when i play my tracks. I want the play button to play the track as well as activate the corresponding input fx. Hope you understood.
there are only bank fx on/off and inc/dec commands in assigns. If there was a command like " activate input fx bank A", the set up i want would have been possible.
      Any insight?

Hello, you're actually misunderstanding how you put the effects on your individual tracks. When you say play your tracks I assume you mean activate your already pre-recorded tracks. If this is what you mean then please understand that a looper is simply recording everything you have done including the input effects at the time of recording. No amount of adjustment of your input effects as you play your tracks will affect anything because again, it is functioning just like a normal looper does and now your input effects are functioning just like a pedal board would, only altering your guitar and not the looped signal. The looped signal contains the input effects that were there at the time of recording so simply change the input effects accordingly as you record and then save your recording in memory with the write functionality. Remember that your input effects will never affect your tracks and you can also add additional effects in the track effects section that will alter your tracks in real time that you can shut on and off however I don't use those as all I would use for that would be reverb.

Use synth as background sound and repeating riffs and arpeggios. Use guitar fx for solos.

Yes and if you're feeling daring like I was you can also solo with the synthesizer tones. I hope I earned your subscription.
