Very nice 👍👍😀 I have a question. From Seconds 10 Till 30 of your Video, what you do that the Sound reamain that Long of the played chords? IT Sounds Like a freeze effect. Do the RC600 has an integraded fx freeze effect? Or is it reverb? Thanks for the answer. Going to buy Soon one of this RC 600 looper. But I need a freeze effect as you Play IT from Seconds 10 to 30 and im Not Sure to buy an extra freeze fx for this or If ITS allready possible With the RC600 buiid in effexts? Thanks for your answer 😊👍
Hey, thanks for the great question. Absolutely this is a freeze affect built in to the RC600, it has so many really great affects with various parametres you can change. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for Breaking this down Chris.Fantastic Effects Demo.. RC-600 blows the RC-300 out of the water.Amazing quality of sound and effects from such a small unit..Given me some good ideas..Splitting Input and Track Effects on the bottom row in Mode 3 is a set-up I'm going to do.👍Subbed..Hope you show more RC-600 content.. Cool Video ! Thx for that. I´ve got one question, perhaps you can answer it: If I set the Track effect setting to "all" it doesnt work on all tracks...Is it because i use different outputs for the tracks ? If I route all tracks to "main outout" it works, but this isnt so useful, cause i want to use different outputs for differnet signals...but I would like to put a filter effect / Delay / Reverb on all tracks/outputs sometimes...Perhaps you have an idea ? best regards, Henning
Hey there, thanks for the comment. Funnily enough I came across this just the other day. I recorded out of two outputs, one was dry the other not. For me in this situation it was actually quite helpful so I did look further into it... But I imagine it might be possible to change in the routing section where you can actually change what is assigned to each output. I guess just the default for anything other than main mix bypasses effects. Sorry I dont have a definitive answer.
Did you ever get a fix for this? I’m having the exact same problem and it’s fully blagging my head. The track fx applies to the headphones out and that’s it. I too also have routing setup for each track so it’s a useless feature if not using “normal” routing. I’ve looked everywhere for a fix and can’t find one. :’(
Hey thank you for the job! I have a question: I want to control delay effect (on and off) with the pedal 9 , on mode one/ and I want this delay to go just on my input instruments not on the all loop. Can you tell me how to do ? thank you so much. sorry for the English , I'm a French guy.
Thanks for the comment. It can be done. But a little tricky to explain here and I don’t have my pedal in front of me as I write this sadly. you will need to go through a few different menus. There is a rc600 group on Facebook if you pop this question in there you will get some super detailed responses
Nice work, enjoyed it! If I may; Did you need any other "signal conditioning" to make get it sounding right or were you able to do it all "in the box" so to speak? Thanks.
you can put up to 4 effects, A, B, C, and D. But how do I activate the D effect, if the pedalboard only has the imput buttons A, b, and C, there is no D, how do I activate the Fx D?
An excellent question. I believe you can assign other buttons to do this. I haven’t done this myself so not the best person to help sorry to not be much use
This video is great. Thanks for these vids. Quick question; is there any way to save Input FX chains? I use memory slots to organize how I organize my different rhythms and loop sets. I generally want the same input effects for all of my different memory patches. Is there an easy way to share input FX chains between memory patches?
I do the same and the first thing I did was create a patch (99) with all of the fx set up as I like. Called it template and then I can save it to any memory slot as my starting point…
Congratulations Chris for your video, I can assure you that it is the first one that convinces me of the quality of the effects of this pedal, the cause surely has to do with the professionalism of your audio recording, I don't know what sound card you are using but comparing it with it, the other youtubers with this device are of a very cheap quality. I also congratulate you for your creativity also with the effects. I don't know if the sound of the voice also passes through the Rc 600 in the video, or if you have a blimp microphone that we don't see recording. If possible, one question: would it be possible to mike an amplifier through the two XLR inputs of the Boss to create loops?
Such kind comments. Thank you very much indeed. I have a condensor in the room picking up voice and ambient sound. To answer your question.... If you mean, mic an amplifier, then input via XLR to RC600 to create loops... yes totally you can. The Drive settings etc though are pretty cool anyway just going direct into the pedal, but absolutely you could mic an amp instead. Hope that helps. All the best and thanks again
@@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar Thank you very much for your clarifications, which make me happy to know them. I'm going to subscribe to your channel to continue enjoying.
Great video. Can you use the effects if you are not recording a loop but just running thru the looper? 3/4 of my live gigs I don’t loop but I trying to figure out if I can still utilize effects to get rid of a few other pedals.
Hi 👋 I can't seem to find a way to turn off the click/tap tempo/rhythm. On the rc300 it was on the outside next to the tap. I can't seem to find it anywhere which is really odd. Surely ppl like to free loop without a click or tapping in a tempo? Please help
When i start a track, the track syncs to rhythm. But when i switch to next track, the second track is out of sync with rythm. All my tracks have sync switch on. Whether i am on immediate or measure sync mode, the track does sync to rhythm after switching to second track. Any insights?
Thanks for this video. I love it. Effects can really be a great inspiration at times. How is the G2B effect compared to the RC300's poor effect and the Boss OC3?
Thanks for kind words. So I must admit I didnt spend loads of time with RC300's effects so couldnt comment. I use an OC2 usually. I'd say the G2B is spot on really.... really good before tweaking parameters too.
@@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar that's fantastic to hear. I have the RC300 and bought an OC3 becuase the G2B is soooo bad on it. I'm considering upgrading when they land here, so this is good news.

great video! Can I ask if you find the RC600 reliable for live gigging? It seems like the holy grail of loop pedals and I was brewing up to buy it, but then came across a thread where lots of people were saying it would freeze randomly, or sometimes not be in sync. Hoping these things have been resolved in software updates?
Thanks for kind comment. So ive never had that experience. Always done what it has meant to from start to finish for me. Ive not been in touring mode lately but ive put some seriously epic hours into using it so seems solid to me... i havent done the new update yet either.
Hi Great loop mix. I would like to ask you if you can record with this sequence without having problems of misalignment of the recordings: 1) I record track one with accompaniment chords, starting the recording on the first quarter in downbeat, for four measures. 2) I record a melody on the second track which must start 1/8 earlier than the chords recorded on the first track. Having done this, listening to the recordings again, it happens that after the first reproductions in which everything plays in time, it happens that the synchronization begins to get lost until the two tracks no longer play in time. Do you also have this problem? It would be a disappointment to find that the rc600 cannot handle loops with recording starts at different times. Thank you very much, congratulations on your channel.
Thanks for getting in touch. I think i know what you mean and if i was to do that it would work fine on my rc600... if ive understood correctly that is. Have you tried updating to the latest firmware? This ironed out some glitches. Hope thats helpful and sorry you are having problems with this.
