Hi! I really love your tutorial (short or longer ones, doesn't matter). Each time I learn something new. I have a suggestion for a future video post - multiple user working on the same document/magazine. E.g. does every user work on separate document and then some import/export pages, merging documents or some other system would be better for this. I am a fresh Scribus learner and couldn't find any example for this scenario... Thanks and keep up!
Thanks for your support and great suggestion! TopCLAX has always been geared toward explaining functionality and showing the use of software. We had not considered creating videos on practical application workflow for individuals or groups. Perhaps this is something we can accommodate going forward. Regardless, Scribus provides a great deal of features, but due to the nature of being a free software it trails behind when it comes to some functionality such as a multi-user workspace. However, one possible approach (magazine) would be to create a template for each section of your magazine and have individuals work independently. Upon completion of their layout they could export their document to a PDF and a final editor could use a separate application to tie the different PDF files together into a single document for print or web distribution. We appreciate your suggestions and questions and if you happen to have any more please feel free to share them.
@@TopCLAX Thanks for a suggestion but I would like to have single SLA file so merging PDFs is not my first option. Obviously, nobody makes 200 pages magazine with Scribus :-). This example surely means collaboration of many designers on one file. I will try some options and give a feedback if something works best. If you find something useful on this topic later, please feel free to give an advice!
@Dalibor Uremović Another option would be to use the Import Page functionality from within Scribus to merge pages from a multiple Scribus projects into a single Document before exporting to PDF.
@@TopCLAX Yes, this seems to be the best option. It works great - one editor and others are contributors. It is important to have one master sla with all necessary configuration set (e.g. color palette, size, margins, etc..). Thanks!
I appreciate your hard work bother 🥰
We appreciate that.

Which Linux you are using...
Good question. For most of these Scribus videos we are using Ubuntu. However there are a few where we are using Windows 10-running Scribus.
