Pandharpur Ashadhi Wari is the history of humanity. This Wari is the cultural, social and ideological identity of Maharashtra. After joining the 'Sakal' media group, I came up with the idea that there should be an annual special issue the occasion of this Ashadi Wari.
The first issue was published in the year 2018. Along with the 2019 print issue, I also started the digital coverage. The concept was, 'Wari of reconciliation.' That is to find out through Reportage how this Wari has accommodated people from all communities.
Just as these reports were written for the issue, their videos were also made for digital. Interviews were conducted. It was a delightful experience for me.

मानवतेचा इतिहास...
पंढरीची आषाढी वारी म्हणजे मानवतेचा इतिहास आहे. ही पायी वारी म्हणजे महाराष्ट्राचं सांस्कृतिक, सामाजिक, वैचारिक संचित आहे. 'सकाळ' माध्यम समूहात दाखल झाल्यावर या आषाढी वारीच्या निमित्ताने वार्षिक विशेषांक असावा, अशी संकल्पना मी मांडली. ती मान्य झाली. २०१८ या वर्षी पहिला अंक प्रसिद्ध झाला. २०१९च्या प्रिंट अंकासोबतच मी डिजिटल अंकाचीही सुरुवात केली. संकल्पना होती, 'सलोख्याची वारी.' म्हणजे या वारीनं सर्व जातीधर्मातील, समाजातील सर्व स्तरांतील लोकांना कसं सामावून घेतलं आहे, याचा 'रिपोर्ताज'च्या माध्यमातून शोध घेणं. हे रिपोर्ताज जसे अंकासाठी लिहिले गेले, तसे त्यांचे डिजिटलसाठी व्हिडिओही बनविले गेले. मुलाखती घेतल्या गेल्या. ही दोन्हीही कामं एकहाती करणं हा सुखद अनुभव होता.
