Yes it is. You have epilepsy, so what? People make jokes on everything, all the time. Epilepsy is horrible, but kids do not get it from jokes, do they? He did not even say anything insulting, it was a very soft joke, was it not?
Adamo Leoni i actually like those kind of epilepsy jokes if it's legitimately annoying filming. this video however i had no problem with. you'd have to be a bitch to whine about this type of video.
10 min to cut isn't that bad as you can do that as the pasta water is boiling which takes about 10 min . There are items you can buy to chat food up quickly as well.
first dish 500 g cooked Prawns 600 g Cherry Tomatoes 3 spring onions finely sliced or shredded 1 Chilli deseeded and chopped 1 Clove Garlic chopped Sea Salt & freshly ground black pepper 500 g dried Spaghetti 1 tablespoon Olive Oil 100 ml Double cream basil leaf chopped
I don't know who the editor of the music is, but he KNOWS his music so well! I've heard some oldd schoool funk and hip hop on this show, and now Edwin Starr - Time?!
What would Ramsay suggest for college students who live in the dorms where they have no kitchens? All you can eat is dorm dining hall food and use very limited public dorm kitchens...
+Harry Potter If you have 0.3m^3 of space somewhere then buy a microwave/grill combo. The grill element really allows your stuff to get nice and crispy, versus the boring sogginess you get from a simple microwave. You can pull off pretty much any dish you make in an oven. Some of my favorites are baked potatoes with sour cream, homemade pizza (actually really simple to make a large batch of), and all kinds of casseroles. Due to the microwaving going on in the background it's quite fast as well. Think 10-30min max for most foods.
+Harry Potter Ramsay is a professional chef who caters to the upper class. he's top notch on luxury ingredients. college students are more or less, budget-conscious and pretty much at the lower class.
Gordon: you don't have to follow a strict diet, do you? Athletes: No, only for moderation (Gordon proceeded to pour a bucket of pure cream into the pan)
why do some people say that all the time about his salt and oil use? he really doesn't use much. take a scale and weigh of 6 grams of salt. that's what's recommended by the German federal office for food and see how much that is. If you are an athlete your need for salt is even higher.
It's just a word to use to make it sound important . . adding creme fraiche to dishes doesn't do alot other than it makes it more palatable and adds different texture and the slight flavour of creme fraiche mixed with everything else adding cream or something, just makes it more creamy and rich. Eg if you've ever added creme fraiche to anything (eg fajitas) it's just a meaningless word like saying "rich" or "heavy" same way you add cream to stuff .. cream =/= creme fraiche. Well done to Gordon Ramsey
A nice little tip for the leek and pancetta pasta, throw in a couple star anis or some tarragon and fry them with the pancetta (if using star anis remove it before you put creme fraiche because it will taste too liquoricy).
No fucking way that most people could cook and eat any of those dishes in under 30 minutes. Not to mention cleaning up afterwards. It pisses me off when chefs like Gordon Ramsay claim to have "fast" recipes that the average person can make on a tight schedule, and then completely ignore the fact that A) most people can't chop vegetables even close to as fast as a trained chef, and B) most people don't have staff to clean up after them. They're completely out of touch with reality.
1. No one mentioned clean up. 2. The cook times Gordon put was 12 minutes for the longest dish. Most people can't chop as fast as him, sure, so maybe say 14 minutes cooking time for the longest dish. PLUS, as you practice more, you get better and faster. Are you saying you can't cook a 14~16 minute meal and eat it in 30 minutes? And whose to say you can't make it the night before, portion it, and reheat in the microwave. That's what I do for lunches at work.
30 minutes is well enough. I advise you to plan out the exact procedure, what will you chop and add in what order etc. Most of the pasta dishes are fast enough to do under 15 minutes easily. Of course knife skills is a limiter but it'll come with time, or you could just go very rustic and cut anything in half and throw em in. You clean up if you have a spare minute between stirring or whatever.
Those of you guys who do not cook and watch these demonstrations START cooking. Go to the Store with a menu list and get familiar with your kitchen. You will love it. Fun to mke a meal that costs pennies that would cost you 20 plus bucks in a restaurant and you can make it easy.. Fish Chicken or steak., Chili, soups. Stews and Pasta dishes galore,, Soon your kitchen will bet stocked.. Check out Laura Vitale, Food wishes, Joy of baking, to mention just a few.. You'll love ir and the woman will love it too. Enjoy!!
Crab Nicholson nobody can it seems. it is no longer in the core curriculum anymore, seriously they only start offering it in the last year of highschool if you plan to go to culinary school after. they used to start teaching you the basics in grade 7, how to sew, cook, etc. basically take care of yourself. they cut that right out about a decade and a half ago, and are now dumbfounded as to why nobody is cooking at home.
@HumaneAnon What did you see in there that isn't available outside of England? It's all very common stuff you can find at any store. The only iffy item is pancetta, but that's largely been adopted as a common item in most supermarkets.
I dont think Gordon understands that people eat less than the most fresh, best quality food because not everyone is a world class chef who can afford any ingredient.
it is. while mine obviously isnt as good and not exactly the same, its amazing. nice tomato flavor to the sauce but not over doing it like regular pure tomato puree kind of sauce, and the prawns (i use shrimps) are delicious.
Tried the second one today(pasta with leeks bacon and mushrooms,) it was delicious! Only took around a half hour to make all said and done and came out very tasty. Definitely food for an athlete however becuase all that pasta and cream is fattening if you dont burn it off!
Only for athletes? I'm vegetarian and that's my main dish. Pasta does allow the boy to 'slowly' absorb the carbs in several hours after a meal, therefore this dish is the perfect choice for a low carb, several hours filling, energy giving tasty dish.
Learning to cook for yourself should be considered as important a basic skill as reading or driving. I'm a smaller guy and I used to weigh almost 200 pounds. I learned to cook which educated me about food and nutrition and in two years I lost 45 pounds and I feel the best I ever have.
short term ya its cheaper but in the long run not so much since you have to constantly buy it for every meal when cooking it in large amounts can save some cash long term
@TheBlessedbabi Well all the prep he does here is pretty fast. It doesn't take long to chop up some vegetables. And if you have a dishwasher just throw all the dirty dishes in there. And even if you don't, washing dishes doesn't take that long as long as you don't let them pile up in the sink.
Looks awesome, but then again, I'd say after a tough training session, one might be out of energy to cook something, even if fast? Fortunately I have a rice cooker... and cans of tuna....
Daniel Haarti I can understand that it's nutritional values are very fitting for some one who trains alot. Carbs, some nice amount of calories and lots of proteins but damn that'd taste like paper haha.
Fjerid Sure does, today did at least! Didn't put enough olive oil so I was almost choking on it. One suffers for being lazy. On days off I try to cook though.
Fjerid To some people food is solely fuel. You have to be a nutrional Nazi if you want one of the best bodies... the old saying goes, if it tastes good, SPIT IT OUT!
Looks like chives/green onion , cherry tomato, garlic, basil, chili, cream, shrimp, and they didnt show the seasoning but im sure theres a dash of salt somewhere.
not true .... we use the salt just to season the pasta and to elevate the boiling point of the water that in this way cooks pasta faster .If you wanna avoid the pasta to stick just move the pasta while the water is boiling 3 /4 times any 3/4 minutes ...And remeber we it the pasta AL DENTE!!!!!!!! That means that it does not stick even the day after !!!!
Athletes: We're sick of pasta, hey gordon, what are you gonna show us how to make?
Gordon: Pasta.
They were sick of boring pasta pots. Not pasta in general 😊 but yes it's funny
have you seen the pne where he feeds the no gluten vegan a steak? 😂
1:10 YUM!!!!!
but its bad for your blood sugar levels and heart. only have it once a month.
Not really.
Whole Wheat Pasta tho
He so wanted to say 'i'm fucking bored of it', but was like 'gordon, i'm FFFFFFF-Fed up with it' xD
why dont athletes use seasonings?
....
they dont have thyme!!!
*slowest clap ever*
Classique Thyme joke.
Frank Chen cringing so hard
Mike Tyson said that
i think i have epilepsy now
+SEAUNY This video has more cuts than that Catwoman basketball scene, holy shit.
+MauiWowieOwie Jokes, do you know them? if you do not like Jokes, fuck off
joking about epilepsy while whining about the way a video is recorded is hardly a joke
Would take me 10 mins to just cut the vegetables :(
if youre using one hand, or never used a knife in your life. this can be cut in 2 minutes
hahahahahahaha me too!!!
+fangske2 I love to cook but I'm not fast either. If you can prep the veggies before hand or see if someone in your home can for you.
+fangske2 Well, if you need 10 min for cutting, just start to boil the water when you start to cut, that should be perfect
10 min to cut isn't that bad as you can do that as the pasta water is boiling which takes about 10 min . There are items you can buy to chat food up quickly as well.
There are about 5 pictures a second at the most in this video, making my brain scramble.
makes my brain scramble too, but not as badly
They thought the recipe was scrambled egg (or brain)
first dish
500 g cooked Prawns
600 g Cherry Tomatoes
3 spring onions finely sliced or shredded
1 Chilli deseeded and chopped
1 Clove Garlic chopped
Sea Salt & freshly ground black pepper
500 g dried Spaghetti
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
100 ml Double cream
basil leaf chopped
I don't know who the editor of the music is, but he KNOWS his music so well! I've heard some oldd schoool funk and hip hop on this show, and now Edwin Starr - Time?!
It appears to be everyone here in the comments section are Michelin star chefs when it comes to making Pasta and can cook better than Gordon Ramsay
Even a slow cutter makes these dishes in 15 minutes max. The first time maybe slower BUT only the first time.
Really easy yet delicious recipes!
What would Ramsay suggest for college students who live in the dorms where they have no kitchens? All you can eat is dorm dining hall food and use very limited public dorm kitchens...
+Harry Potter ramen

"creme fraiche to lighten the dish"....lol
Caleb Liao *Poors in the whole tub*
Exactly what I thought 😂
jesus, who is the cameraman again. Zoom a little more, I can't fucking see.
Gordon: you don't have to follow a strict diet, do you?
Athletes: No, only for moderation
(Gordon proceeded to pour a bucket of pure cream into the pan)
Lol 1:02
I'd love to hear Gordon explain to me how creme fraiche "lightens" the dish lol.
basically dilutes the flavor.
why do some people say that all the time about his salt and oil use? he really doesn't use much. take a scale and weigh of 6 grams of salt. that's what's recommended by the German federal office for food and see how much that is. If you are an athlete your need for salt is even higher.
Slight acidity in the creme fraiche can add some brightness that balances the rest of the flavors
I think it is the light of "highlight" but not the opposite of heavy
It's just a word to use to make it sound important . . adding creme fraiche to dishes doesn't do alot other than it makes it more palatable and adds different texture and the slight flavour of creme fraiche mixed with everything else adding cream or something, just makes it more creamy and rich. salt doesn't stop pasta from sticking together. salt seasons the pasta.
oil your pasta after you drain it to prevent it from sticking together

most of the recipes involved chopping a couple vegetables, how hard is that to do in the 8 or so minutes dry pastas take to cook?
30 minutes is well enough. I advise you to plan out the exact procedure, what will you chop and add in what order etc. Most of the pasta dishes are fast enough to do under 15 minutes easily. Crab Nicholson So true
Crab Nicholson
TRUTH!!!

Younger males are less and less like men. Maybe thats the problem you see.
Awesome, playing Edwin Starr´s "Time", one of the best soul songs ever written!
This is pure gold, it makes my life better, cuz now I can eat proper food at home.
am i the only one who thinks the video is impossible to watch with all the flashing cuts and zoom-ins? terrible
lol
@shadowscyth It's not leeks, it's spring onions. Leeks don't have a bulge at the end, they are pretty consistent all the way through.
no doubt in mind those guys went back to their pasta pots after Gordon left.
@HumaneAnon What did you see in there that isn't available outside of England? It's all very common stuff you can find at any store. The only iffy item is pancetta, but that's largely been adopted as a common item in most supermarkets.
The goats cheese in the fridge tip, awesome!
'' we are going to be: fast ferious and delicious'' hahahaha
@Leziii For real!!! It's ridiculous how fast they cut to the next scene. Where's the damn Excedrin?!
0:58, what is the green vegetables he asks the guy to put in ? is it basilium? Thank you
1st: 1 leek 2 tomato 3 garlic 4 basil (???) 5 cream - russian smetana - see wiki "Smetana_(dairy_product)" 6 prawns
2nd: 1 pancetta (bacon) 2 leek 3 mushrooms 4 cream 5 cheese (parmesan) 6 basil (???) 3rd: 1 ??? 2 garlic 3 peanuts (???) 4 rosemary 5 chicken 6 goat cheese
Please, correct and/or add
might make one of these for lunch tomorrow! so excited :D
I know it's been 10 years, but how was it?
Wow, all three looked amazing
or just throw it right into the sauce after you drain it. the oil from the sauce will coat and prevent the pasta from sticking
I dont think Gordon understands that people eat less than the most fresh, best quality food because not everyone is a world class chef who can afford any ingredient.
Not to mention the prep and clean up time.
the way he says pasta XD omggg laughing like crazy, I can't even take this seriously. pAsta.
"Gordon, I'm fff......
....ffed up with it" lol
it is. while mine obviously isnt as good and not exactly the same, its amazing. nice tomato flavor to the sauce but not over doing it like regular pure tomato puree kind of sauce, and the prawns (i use shrimps) are delicious.
The song:
Edwin Starr - Time
You're welcome
0:22 we're gonna be fast, furious and delicious
Cannibals: i just want u to be delicious
every time he says creme fresh it cracks me up
GrievousTulip Randy marsh
What is creme fresh? I am from Malaysia and don't think it is available here. Any substitute for it?
ive made it, its delicious. blew me away.
Tried the second one today(pasta with leeks bacon and mushrooms,) it was delicious! Only took around a half hour to make all said and done and came out very tasty. Definitely food for an athlete however becuase all that pasta and cream is fattening if you dont burn it off!
I love how the brand of knife is subliminally shown during the chopping of the veggies. Whustofs are great knifes though. Expensive but great.
Thought I'd try these recipes, but the video editor's ADHD flashing jump-cuts kept sending me into seizures... couldn't hold the pen.
Only for athletes? I'm vegetarian and that's my main dish. Pasta does allow the boy to 'slowly' absorb the carbs in several hours after a meal, therefore this dish is the perfect choice for a low carb, several hours filling, energy giving tasty dish.
Really wish these videos gave recipes and directions.
@kommisar Maldon sea salt. It has a more intense flavour and is great for boiling pastas and potatoes in.
Learning to cook for yourself should be considered as important a basic skill as reading or driving.
I'm a smaller guy and I used to weigh almost 200 pounds. I learned to cook which educated me about food and nutrition and in two years I lost 45 pounds and I feel the best I ever have.
Yeah it did help a lot thank you for your reply !
yup but he tilled it so the air can still escape i think he did that so the steam can get the noodles that arent in the water
Anyone know how those 2 athletes performed in the Beijing Olympics?
jaysaviod I’m from the future. They all died
@@Libtardo123 from covid 19
They got fucking battered.
short term ya its cheaper but in the long run not so much since you have to constantly buy it for every meal when cooking it in large amounts can save some cash long term
@forestclown i also think so but is double cream always so liquid ??
lol... as a dude, 10mins cooking a dish turns to 1hours with the firebrigade making occasional visits
if you're a pro off course it'll be quick. organisation and quick confident moves finishes this quick like a daredevil
Mmmm, thanks for the ideas Gordon. I agree with you, time shouldn't be an excuse. There's never not enough time to cook a good meal.
no, just basil a leafy herb, VERY common in pasta dishes along with sage and oregano, gordon says 'Basil in please'
hope that helped :D
pasta dish with bacon? im sold.
"Fast isn't it?" Yeah, because *you're* fast, goddammit man
first one looks so delicious
such a nice montage!
So where can I actually get a recipe for all 3 dishes ?
What does he pour into the first recipe? Cream?
what was that white sauce gordon put into the first dish?
Where I can find accurate recipies? I can not figure out what is he pouring to first spaghetti...:/
"Dur hur, this man swears..." You're easily impressed.
If I can find a girl that can cook like Gordon Ramsay, I'll marry her instantly.
Can anyone tell me the igredients for the first recipe. He didn't mention all the things he put in. thanks
which beans did he mean at 2:00??
my english isnt soo good^^
Superb idea too! :)
Where are the full recipies for these with ingredient amounts, etc?
what kind of cream/milk does he put in the first kind of pasta???
two weeks later,
they're back to those pasta boxes
Looks awesome, but then again, I'd say after a tough training session, one might be out of energy to cook something, even if fast? Fortunately I have a rice cooker... and cans of tuna....
Rice with... tuna? you serious?
Fjerid Yes. Yesterday had brown rice, broccoli and tuna. In a bowl. All mixed together! A true delight for a true gourmand!
Daniel Haarti I can understand that it's nutritional values are very fitting for some one who trains alot. Carbs, some nice amount of calories and lots of proteins but damn that'd taste like paper haha.

Fjerid To some people food is solely fuel. You have to be a nutrional Nazi if you want one of the best bodies... the old saying goes, if it tastes good, SPIT IT OUT!
double cream is what he uses, i use light cream cause my mom doesnt like the extra fat :P but yeah either work.
3 dishes in 3 minutes? Ramsay is GOD!
What is being poured in at 1:03?
Everything is fast in fast forward.
Looks like chives/green onion , cherry tomato, garlic, basil, chili, cream, shrimp, and they didnt show the seasoning but im sure theres a dash of salt somewhere.
This video feels like watching a Jason Bourne fight scene
3 good dishes... im gonna try them out :D
Gordon runs marathons? That's something new
What’s the can of white sauce he puts in the first dish?
hes got an army.
what kind of beans are the ones used in the last recipe ? I cannot get the first word.
Jesse's cooking dance move SAAAAANNN
Fast, furious, and delicious. That's what she said!
0:16 He was going to say "fucking bored" then he remembered he's being filmed and says fed up instead
this dude is just amazing!
What were all of the ingredients in the first recipe?
anyone know what the green vegetable at 0:44 is? looks like green onion or leek
great dishes.
damn... the last pasta is really good. I just tried it out.
Yup realized I was wrong after a dozen or so people mailed me to correct my mistake!
not true .... we use the salt just to season the pasta and to elevate the boiling point of the water that in this way cooks pasta faster .If you wanna avoid the pasta to stick just move the pasta while the water is boiling 3 /4 times any 3/4 minutes ...And remeber we it the pasta AL DENTE!!!!!!!!
