This and your other videos are great. I hope you don’t get discouraged by too few views. I think people will keep finding them and getting a lot of value from the unique quality of your videos.
can you recommend a good replacement chair damper. If possible specifically something that fits the Ikea Markus, because I have no idea what the dimesnions are and what brand makes good long lasting dampers.
Might have to consider rubber hardness and what the total contact area that results. Even if you have more contact area, I'm not so sure this will result in less wear. These days, I combine this with a glass chair mat.
@@BeatTheBushDIY ah. i didn't realize they had or could come with headrests. nice. Fwiw, I put a set of doubles on my office chair and they are great! (and ... FYI... it's a vintage Herman Miller chair from the mid-90s.... )
I got the single wheels a few years ago. Saw the double wheel version recently, thought it was an upgrade to the singles. Thanks for your review exact same chair, guess there's no need to get the double. The increased resistance sounds great but the profile becomes way to low. @@BeatTheBushDIY
i dont got carpet. i dont need anything great, just as long as the chair can roll and spin. ill go for a budget spinning rolling chair. i got various desks and shelves all over my office space so it helps to spin and roll around.
Channel name's BeatTheBush but guy doesn't beat round the bush.
Perfect review! Just what I need

Thanks for the video! Was trying to decide between these to types of upgrades and this is exactly what I needed
Thank you for posting a video on the wheels. I love these Oasis wheels. They are fantastic for gliding along the floor. Nice and smooth.
Thank you for the detailed info.
Please do more demonstrations of different wheels! This has been the most helpful video I have seen for wheels on carpet.
Sure, I'll be review another set soon.
I have an old office chair that I use in my garage, needs new wheel. Good video!
I already have the single wheel one. Bought for the higher profile for carpet. Not only that if I move I don’t want to scratch the hardwood to shit.
Your centre post shouldn't be that far through? mine, sits just about flush
Thank you, got the two wheel ones on the way. No reviews on them really
Good point, I'll have to double check my chair but at least it works as it is with the larger wheels. =D

I don’t have a specific one but you mostly need to measure the outer diameter of the original piston.
Very informative and helpful. Thank you!
In terms of wear on hardwood I would think that distribution the of weight among more wheels would be easier on the finish of the hardwood floor.

What was the chair you were testing this on?
An older Aeron chair.

Thanks for mentioning that about the center post - mine was dragging along the carpet and I didn't even realize 😅
Happy to help!
These kind of wheels roll so easily that they are never stable and have you constantly balancing. On a pitched floor they are hell
TLDR: 1 wheel makes you move more free. 2 wheel has a bit more resistance but is also bit louder and lower to ground. Will go for 2 wheel.
Thanks a bunch! just help me out!
Which is better? I mean, with use over time which proves to be more profitable?
I didn't use them both over a long time since the dual wheel was too low to the ground for my chair. I use the single wheel one now.
@@BeatTheBushDIY Thank you so much.

get dual. It's very good and better than single wheel one.
Ha! my weight will keep it in place!
