Yes, agreed! I go into our charity shops and even the bigger stores aren’t anything like Good Will in the US. Its still fun thrifting though, I’ve found a few hard back books and other bits and pieces while out hunting 😊

Wow, the Restore in Tennessee was a gold mine for nostalgic Christmas treasures to decorate your new home for your first Christmas as a married couple. You are creating your own family traditions. (I will let you know that the Restore in Newmarket, Ontario didn't have anything like that.)

Never seen such great Christmas decor in my ReStore or Value Village. Our prices in Canada are also higher than in US.

I've literally cleared out my parents house of their 60yrs of marriage through the era of tge dinner party....and had to throw away LOADS of matching crystal glasses....sad fact tgey had to ho in the hardcore and soul bin because they were cut crystal 😢

Omg! YES! STU and HENRY! 😍 I KNEW you had two of those gorgeous kitties! I remember seeing both of them at the same time - I think it was when you were making over your old kitchen (it was all white, some time before the lake house) and I remember falling in love with those furry little guys! 🥰🥰🥰 I thought maybe something had happened to Stu because Henry seemed to be the one liking the camera most recently. I’m sooo glad you like knickknacks and little shelf fillers for your home. Somehow it just adds to the charm and coziness of a home. And since you are deliberately carefully choosing each piece makes it just more special. So many designers go minimal with their decor and that is ok too. There definitely is a line that says too much. Btw, I LOVED that red dress and red shoes on you!! Beautiful!!! I hope that you and Christian have a wonderful holiday in your new home this year!!!
