    Wow. The original video of this is one of my favourite videos I've ever seen, but this cracked me up even harder. I cried. Oh man, you should see my dad EVERY TIME he listens to this! So red, so teary. Amazing.

    "The Portsmouth Sinfonia was an orchestra founded by a group of students at the Portsmouth School of Art in England, in 1970. The Sinfonia had an unusual entrance requirement, in that players had to either be non-musicians, or if a musician, play an instrument that was entirely new to them... Brian Eno was interested enough to join the Symphonia, playing clarinet."

    I'm thinking of the video actually, the one where they put it over the opening titles of 2001, rather than over John waving his arms. It really brings it into stark relief when you have the right visuals. :)
