He was legendary man because of his personality. But as player. He was just average NBA player. Just look his statistics numbers. Not that great. Because of his personality He got all popularity. Numbers don't laying.
What I find most appealing about this man is that he's like the ultimate fan of the game with his commentary but then u realize he was also a big part of the game and it leaves you more in awe of him. His style, openess, happy going friendliness is what made him one of most special people of our generation. Definitely one of a kind.
I met Bill when I was 20(30 now) at a non basketball Corporate event. got a pic with him, and a signed basketball. I remember thinking he was just the greatest person ever. infectious smile and attitude. I rarely get emotional with celeb deaths, this one hit really hard
Bill was such a beautiful human being. We loved listening to him and laughing with him. They need cure cancer because we’ve lost way to many people to this freakin disease
Bill heart was as big as his height. As a Celtic fan I appreciate his contribution to one of the best teams ever assembled. I got a joy just watching him loving every minute of march madness. Thank you bill rest easy big guy
That frame at minute 1:22 tells you everything you need to know about the character and ingratitude of that man-child who spent the last few years denigrating Bill's reputation. Calm, cool and collected Mr. Walton, rest in peace!
You right, shaq is one of the most sensitive crybaby dudes out there. Idk if I've ever seen someone so insecure and use the same, lame lines repeatedly to try and show himself as big when it only makes him look small
Rest in peace 🕊️❣️🙏 for bill Walton thank u for everything for basketball 🏀🙏 my condolences goes out to his wife and kids and etc we will never forget u ur legacy is forever as he join the basketball God's
Shaq should be ashamed of himself. The fact that he had beef with Bill, and called him out saying he shouldn’t be a hall of famer was wrong. He was Bill’s biggest hater throughout the past 35 years
First Take is so much better to watch when Stephen A 🐍mith is not there. That cast right there is special. Some it’s better without SAS noise and trying to up stage everyone on the cast. It better to be seen and not heard. Love that cast without SAS. ESPN take note. Just saying
@@RudieObias So it was announced Bill Walton died just hours before the Boston Celtics game the other night in which with a win they will go to the NBA finals. The last team Walton played for was the Boston Celtics. Also 666 days since The last Celtic legend passed away.
What a life he had. He saw the Dead in Egypt in 1978 and went on a private cruise of the Nile afterwards with the band.
He played drums during that show.
A legendary player, but an even more legendary person.🙏🏻

Bill Walton refused to accept that this moment in time isn’t, or shouldn’t be, awesome. And that each person he met wasn’t, or couldn’t be, amazing.

Always wanted to meet Mr. Bill Walton. A great one the world has lost. Our love and thoughts are with the Walton family.

He call at the malice at the palice will NEVER be forgotten in my mind!!!!!!!! 🕊️🕊️🕊️
Loved his zest for life. On another note, played Hakeem Olajuwon the best I have ever seen someone play him.
Gonna miss the throw it down big man throw it down….😢😢😢
America has created plenty of great to goodness people that you just can’t get enough of. He’s part of that group.
He really was an awesome guy, and will be missed. Rest in Power, Bill ❤
Have one of the greatest NBA highlights of all time and could've had more if he was healthy, but it was great enough.
Bill Walton was my favorite player on NBA street Vol. 2

Shaq gave a surprisingly graceful little eulogy for Bill on Inside.
He was like Madden
Hope Luke Walton doin ok
Rest in paradise 🙏 bill Walton 🙏

It’s almost as if Bill said “If the Conference of Champions will no longer be around, then neither will I!” Rest in Power legend!
Yall got Bill looking crazy in the thumbnail
Throw it down big man! Rest in paradise my brother!
who remembers when shaq tried to insult walton because he got some constructive criticism from him?
Shaq should be ashamed of himself. The fact that he had beef with Bill, and called him out saying he shouldn’t be a hall of famer was wrong. He was Bill’s biggest hater throughout the past 35 years
The Celtics should retire ANOTHER #5 jersey to honor one of the very best basketball players and personalities ever
I'm convinced that Bill Walton as the sixth man, absolutely jettisoned that Celtic team to one of the greatest of all time.

Smh he didn't even told us
He wasn't obligated to
Very funny man
Never heard of him
😢
Molly has weird pants
Did he get to see dead and company at the Las Vegas sphere?
Shaq is a hater.
😢
Hurtfully and honestly true
Worst than that... he is a bully in life!

Bill Walton > Kareem (personality)
scripted
I don’t want to hear anything “scripted” everything is meant to be unscripted.
Are you suggesting that the NBA murdered Bill Walton? If that’s the case, then why?

He got injured bad man. Many say he was Jokic before Jokic as he was one of the premier big men of the 70s.
