This is the official description of Gremmy's death: "In the end, he imagined power that could overcome Zaraki Kenpachi and made it his own, but because he couldn't completely imagine a body that was able to withstand that power, it resulted in his own self-destruction. He awakened from his dreams and his brain ceased all function."
So basically, once Gremmy's body sustains enough dmg, his Brain will "wake up" and he wont be able to imagine anymore no matter what.

Gremmy did imagine Kenpachi’s power correctly, the issue is not he “can’t imagine Kenpachi’s power”, it is he forgot to imagine he had the same level of body like Kenpachi first. The current normal body he is using is unable to contain the newly imagined Kenpachi’s power and caused his death
He placed a limit on himself when he said that only Kenpachi's body could handle his power. If he hadn't imagined that he could have made a body strong enough.

Yamamoto wasn't part of the 5 special threats. Yhwach mentioning removing him from the list. Also,back on Ep 14 (or Ep 1 of this cour),Gremmy was on the ground along with the other Sternritters. You can see him for a second when Uryu is walking by after arriving,when one of the girls talks about him being in the same stage as His Majesty. So the hooded person is someone different.
That's even worse for our side then. That means there are still 4 "elite" sternritters out there smh. And yeah rip Yama still.

Gremmy Thoumeaux, Stern Ritter "V" stand for Shrift "The Visionary", his ability allow him to turn anything he imagined into reality, even including altering other people's physical structure or creating life from nothing, when comes to battle Gremmy could imagine all sort of weapon and phenomenon as an attack, like the normal attack will be creating guns, missiles, or lava to direct attack or trap people inside the water, the advance level imagination attack will be like the meteor that is enough to destroy the whole Seireitei or create outer space out of nowhere and use vacuum environment to kill his enemy. When used as a support skill, Gremmy could use it to multiply his number, change his own body structure, heal wounds, or even create a human that could use different Shrift. The downside of the Visionary is this power could turn against its user in some cases if Gremmy had doubt about himself and imagined his own defeat, that could also become reality since his ability manifest anything he imagined. Also if he gets distracted and forgot to maintain his imagination, it will also affect his attack and defend. However, this ability is indeed broken to the level that other Stern Ritter even fears Gremmy.
This is a tricky one to explain. I'll just start by saying that Gremmy is my favorite Sternrnitter, so I might be biased. First, this episode covered 9 CHAPTERS of the manga, imagine that, this was a big, BIG fight in the manga, we had Gremmy around for like 7-9 weeks, so cramming everything into a single episode still feels a little weird to me, and some content didn't make the cut.
The idea behind Gremmy losing is that he doomed himself, throughout the fight he called and pictured Zaraki as a monster several times, and as Zaraki said, he ended up turning him into a monster in that head of his. His body couldn't withstand that power, and so he ended up killing himself. However, things get a little strange here, a power like this is... You know, singlehandedly the most OP power we have seen in the entire series, and nothing really comes close to it, so it gets difficult to write, particularly when he can just 'imagine anything'.
The power does have its limits, Gremmy himself has to create another of him to summon a meteor, so obviously things that are too big require more of himself, same with the vacuum of space, he created many of himself to bring that into existence (which, by the way, had stars in the background, so just imagine the sheer size of what he created).
The question then becomes, if he can just do ANYTHING, why does he even die? I mean, he should be able to heal himself, no questions asked. If not, just create a new body. We do see him panting quite a bit after creating the vacuum of space and detonating himself, so perhaps he was tired? Then again, can't we just imagine himself not being tired? You see what I mean? LOL, it's hard to understand what's going on.
That being said, to me Gremmy is still the most fun Sternritter, one who gave us one of the most strange and creative Bleach fights ever. I like his design and his character.
Speaking of his character... This didn't make the cut, but in the title card in the middle of the episode (the part they never translate), they did mention this. Because of his power, Gremmy spent most of his life inside a cage, and he wasn't allowed to leave. Askin (Aizen look alike) mentions in the manga chapters that a monster like Gremmy should never have been allowed to go outside, and he says that 'he's getting out of there' because Gremmy's range of destruction is insane.
When Gremmy drops the meteor, we see a ton of reactions to it, Bazz B sees the meteor falling and just screams 'What the hell did that idiot Gremmy do!?', Renji stares at the meteor shitting his pants, Soldat and Shinigami stop fighting and just run for their lives, and Jugram (Sternritter B, right hand man) screams to a couple of soldiers to protect Yhwach. Ah, and Yhwach is just standing up, staring at the meteor falling without saying a word.
Yeah, if that wasn't clear enough, I much prefer the manga version of this particular stretch of chapters. This is all in chapter 577 of the manga, should you want to check it out. It's one of my fav chapters of Bleach!

We definitely get the feeling with manga to anime adaptations sometimes as some of us read our favorite animes. 9 chapters in one episode is kind of crazy tho lol. We do think as anime onlys for Bleach that this epsiode was crazy good. We are really big Kenpachi fans but even more so for Rukia. So these last like 5 episodes of nothing but Bangers is what we are here for. Bleach TYBW has been phenomenal and we are loving it. We will probably definitely check it out eventually because all the info you listed was pretty cool. Especially the reactions from everyone and the Askin dialog.

After his awakening, Kenpachi not only regained his true power but also gained access to his Shikai, Zanpakuto's name "Nazarashi" It is a giant blade, and just like Ikkaku's Bankai, Kenpachi's Shikai does not bring any special ability to him, nor give him any speed or defend buff, it is pure power, the power strong enough to cut through anything, even the giant meteor that could destroy Seireitei could be slash to half with one swing. After inheriting the name Kenpachi, Zaraki Kenpachi has been true to his name as the strongest Soul Reaper in the Soul Society, his fighting style didn't change, he simply become stronger to the point that there is nothing he couldn't cut, himself and become the most power blade in the battlefield.
Love that it's just purr power and no fancy things added. His shikai really suits him well.🔥🔥 Kenpachi is that dude.
Gremmy was in a constant state of haze/dream and thats what kept him alive. As soon as he took enough damage his brain woke up which ended up killing him.
Damn. That's still crazy how strong he was, just nerfed by being cages up is tough. He could've been OVERPOWERED.

And Yamamoto is not a special threat, Yhwach already said that after his death. He removed his name due to Yamamoto become soft and able to predict, in his eyes become weakened and no longer the sword demon he once was

When Kenpachi says that there is nothing he cannot cut, he means it, he literally cut through space to hit Gremmy.
Yachiru is Kenpachi's daughter for sure. Lieutenant for a reason!! We loved her getting into some action for sure!! Her sword threw us off but it's pretty dope. If the captains died here that would be upsetting lol.

Kenpachi and Gremmy's battle is very intense, it is true that from a strength perspective, Kenpachi has an overwhelming advantage, Gremmy can't create an object to block Kenpachi's serious attack, but at the same time, Gremmy's attack is also not easy to handle, like the outer space attack, because it does not have a shape Kenpachi can't even withstand that environment for too long so he striked Gremmy to interrupt and escape from the outer space, and it still caused huge damage to his body. However, Kenpachi just like his usual self just keep coming back even though he is injured badly, Gremmy has been pushed back and feels frustrated, this is his first time taking so much effort yet still can't take down an enemy. So he imagined he has the same power as Kenpachi, but the only problem is his own imaginary body can't handle the power he imagined, causing self-destruction by his own power. From this point of view, you could say Gremmy didn't actually "Lose" to Kenpachi, he could still fight but he chose the wrong move and caused his own death.
That's tough but it's a pretty interestingly written fight! Really dope epsidoe though!!

What was revealed in this episode are things I was hoping and waiting for years to see come to life. It was cool to see Yachiru in action and since day one I’ve said it, Kenpachi Zaraki is the GOAT! The fight itself and being able to see the panels animated was beyond tremendous. The visuals of him cutting the meteor and transitioning into his younger self was beautiful. He finally called out Nozarashi’s name and we were finally able to see that glorious Shikai! What a beast and he hasn’t even taken the eyepatch off. I just want to see Kenpachi destroy everyone 🤘🏽 I cannot wait to see what’s coming.

Gwenael Lee, shrift "The Vanishing Point", an imagination creature of Gremmy, the Vanishing Point allow Gwenael to disappear from people's sight, and mind, and even physically disappear, this power allow Gwenael always able to surprise attack enemy at zero distance with perfect timing. Gwenael originally would be the perfect assassin but due to Yachiru's animal-like wild instinct failed the mission and get hurt, although Gwenael still could keep fighting, Gremmy is already disappointed in Gwenael, so he appeared and inform Gwenael "You have already disappeared from my mind, sorry can't remember who you are, but I can no longer imagine your future". Erased Gwenael from existence.
Yachiru Kusajishi, Squad 11 Lieutenant, Shikai Sanpo Kenjū, Ychiru's release been revealed for the first time, it is a very odd Shikai that created two sword beast stand with Yachiru and swing the sword with the same move but with some slight difference. This makes Yachiru's sword becomes like a three-wave attack and when her enemy focuses more on her blade, it becomes harder to dodge due to there are two more blades striking at a slight difference in timing. During her fight against Gwenael Lee, Yachiru used her instinct to sense Guenael and used Sanpo Kenju to make strike, successfully injuring Gwenael. But when facing Gremmy she stands no chance and the bones in her body have been turned into cookies by Gremmy's Visionary and even a slight moment will break Yachiru's bones.
The little Yachiru fight we enjoyed for sure. She's a favorite for us fr.

[Tidbits & Clarifications]
- Yachiru's ability is quite strong, It strikes before she attacks, when she attacks and after she attacks. Also as Isane noted no Shinigami has a Shikai that doesn't change form once released.
- Gremmy isn't the Character we saw on Stage, Those characters are above "Sternritter" but there was a character with a hoodie among them.
- In regards to Gremmy killing the Captains, we saw 1st hand the the affects of his imagination can be reverted if he's not focused so it's "possible" that those captains deaths are not permanent.
- The anime cuts the reaction of both Shinigami and Quincy when Gremmy used the Meteor.
- Many fans claim that Gremmy is idiotic, however he's more so sheltered, this is why he began to feel ecstatic by fighting for the 1st time. The idea is that despite being able to imagine nearly anything he's likely experienced very little in life from actions to even feelings.
- The scene with Kenpachi calling out his swords name mixed with the Flashback of Yachiru not having a name is a huge in your face hint here which some people somehow miss.
- In regards to Gremmy's power of imagination many fans fail to understand that it has many drawbacks. The 1st being that what someone can imagine is based on experience and Gremmy has lived a very confined life because it's alluded to in the manga that he's kept locked away somewhere. The 2nd is that as we saw a person's imagination can do it's own thing, so if you have unvoluntarry negative thoughts they will affect you like how gremmy began to lose. 3rd is that it's limited to the speed of his thoughts. Lastly it's not limitless as some claim, if he can just make anything a reality Yhwach would have told him to imagine that every soul reaper was dead, but clearly that's not the case.

Grammy could've been OP if he wasn't sheltered and we hope the captains are okay for sure. Yachiru and her sword in her mini fight was pretty dope. This fight was well written and we hoped it would've been longer. Hopefully more action to come for Kenpachi!!

Gremmy's personality is very arrogant due to his ability nature, he does not consider most others as his equal and he knows he is the strongest, so fighting to him is just like a work process. Kenpachi is the first person Gremmy encounters that makes him want to fight and crush him. Still, Gremmy sees himself as above Kenpachi due to his ability to allow him to create anything he wants and a brutal such as Kenpachi even is super strong should stand no chance against his limitless imagination.
Due to his ability special nature, he is been imprisoned by Yhwach and does not allow to come out, this time due to the war need for all the war power to out on the battlefield, Gremmy has also been released, but many of the Stern Ritter scared of him and does not want to get involved with him except one he shares a good relationship. This time he had a good fight with Kenpachi actually draws out more human emotions in him, the first time he wants to compete and defeat someone, feeling the excitement of battle. This is something he never experienced due to he could literally gain anything by imagination, but a rival and equal match that requires him to fight with all he got is something new to Gremmy.
Fun fact, the Stern Ritter Ichigo defeated when he arrive at Seireitei in the first invasion is also a creation of Gremmy, but that one used his power to break free from Gremmy's control and Gremmy lost interest in him.

Him being locked away is kind of a nerf but this fight was well written. Gremmy was definitely one of the strongest sternritters if not the strongest. Just needed a little more battle experience lol.
Trust me when I say that Yhwach has the most broken power in all of anime. He doesn't need the other Shrifts or Yama's bankai.

I'll point out that Kyoka Suigetsu was only able to hold Yhwach for a short time. The reason it worked at all is because it manipulates the senses aka the ability to interpret what its front of you including your visions of the future.
The four weaknesses of The Almighty are:
-Power-Swapping: If a weaker host like Haschwalth is killed while in possession, the Almighty will be destroyed.
-Illusions: Covered above
-Past Manipulation: The Almighty can alter the future but it is susceptible to abilities that alter the past such as Book of the End.
-Stil Silver: If Yhwach's blood makes contact with the silver created in the hearts of his Auswählen victims, The Almighty is temporarily disabled.

I knew a fair bit of the info, but my comment was also targeted to be an jokes rather than a fact. Like it’s hilarious how yhwach was talking shit to aizen about kyouka suigetsu not working on him, and the next seconds he was caught on aizen’s illusion.

Gremmy didn't have a Vollstandig because he wasn't a Quincy. I want to go more into it and explain why that is but I feel like it would be some sort of a spoiler so I'll just say that for now.

No, Gremmy was not on the stage with the other "special" sternritters. He isn't part of the "special" squad, just a normie like Bazz-B. Also, FYI that eskim* word you said is slur.
When a sternritter dies all their power goes to Yhwach he gives a small bit of himself to grant them their ability at the cost of their soul after death. A sternritter's life ends the quincy power lives on through Yhwach, thus making him stronger every time. This is what Haschwalth was telling Ishida last episode. This is partially why we see the king so care free when his people are killed. Yhwach would rather be more OP with less help, then to have underperforming help.
Apologies for the word use here, didn't mean it in a negative way at all so really sorry using it at all.
