The fact that Kenpachi’s SHIKAI debut is on level hype wise with multiple BANKAI debuts (and even surpassing the hype in some cases) shows just how cool and highly regarded Kenpachi is in the Bleach community

The turning point of this battle was Kenpachi igniting Gremmy’s spirit for battle. It’s the only way you can actually beat a broken character like Gremmy. Like he can literally just imagine you die by exploding or saying you’re brain dead or anything. But making him experience joy in battle, he did not want a cheap victory anymore.
Exactly, kenpachi is smart and used the fact gremmys a child to easily manipulate him into wanting to use flashy instead of effective moves, he could’ve just imagined kenpachi doesn’t exist, but instead he made gremmy want to prove his strength through power and not just a simple victory

The fact that it got foreshadowed in the soul society arc and they reanimated that scene in this episode so I hope more people catch on to the reference

I saw the end of this fight the moment it started by dude saying “so you are kenpachi. You are strong just like I imagined” so he had already imagined kenpachi to be strong so even if Kenny wasn’t strong he was gonna win because Quincy guy imagined him strong already

Bleach basically has no limit fallacies built into its battle mechanics. Even though Gremmy can imagine whatever, he is restricted to his level of reiatsu. Bleach laws say that when someone is significantly stronger than you, your abilities will begin to stop working.
He is not restricted by reiatsu. He can just imagine he has more reiatsu
The bs about abilities not working on someone of higher reiatsu is made up by bleach fans. It NEVER worked like that
When they show the other frame of the quincy in the manga he states that all the other quincy wouldn't fight with him and says he's too crazy for creating a meteor that would kill everyone

on your theory about Yachiru being Kenpachi's Zanpakuto... you should re-watch that short flashback that happened before Kenpachi cut the meteor. because you might be correct. ;)
I'm a bit irritated that Gremmy's backstory of growing up in isolation due to how dangerous he was was cut since it explains why his imagination was so limited. I was also hoping for some hints if a fan theory regarding Gremmy was true or not but I guess they didn't want to risk spoiling something to clever anime-only watchers who would have then spread their theories on the internet.

"Aizen wannabe" people keep saying this but i need some respext on Askin Nakk le Varr. Also......GLOCKS??? Where were they?
SPOILERS: i think this is a spoiler so can someone clarify me on this one... i posted this on some other reactors channels but no one seem to know or clarify it:
about Yachiru Kusajishi: this is what my theory is after i read the manga when that chapter released years ago, in the unohana and kenpachi scene: a female voice spoke with no image asking zaraki a question and after that, no scene followed, next in this fight after zaraki releases his shikai, it went to a flashback scene when they were at the rukongai district and found yachiru and zaraki ask what is the child's name (yachiru) and she does not have a name so zaraki is the only one who named her...after this fight... she disappears... don't know if there will be another scene of her on the next episode because in the manga, i remember a dialogue is shown with yachiru's vice captain badge and her clothes left on a stone debris...after that she is never been seen again even with new Hell arc manga...and again i want to clarify, she disappeared right after Zaraki released and said his sword shikai form... so can anyone clarify me on this if yachiru is zaraki's zanpakutou?
and addition to that, when Isane is analyzing yachiru's sword, when a soul reaper releases a shikai, the sword should change and yachiru's sword did not...so my theory still stands that she is just a manifestation of zaraki's zanpakutou in an incomplete form because zaraki does not know his zanpakutou's name...
For those who thinks why Gremmy just didn't make Kenpachi's bones cookies like Yachiru or imagine him dying like explode his brain, heart, etc is because of Reiatsu difference. Remember when Soi Fon use her shikai on Aizen it didn't work because having advantage on Reiatsu ignores abilities. You can also see that only Gremmy did was to imagine things around Kenpachi not on his body directly (lava, water, being on space, etc.). You can also put this on Gremmy's perspective that he wants to flex his power and not being creative enough because he has no battle experience due to being locked up by Yhwach.
You can also argue why Gremmy didn't just imagine himself having greater Reiatsu than Kenpachi. As I said, he has no battle experience and his abilities is limited on his own imagination. If this ability was given to Aizen or Urahara, the verse is done.
And this fight happen too fast. Imagination need enough time
That's not how that works. The whole Soifon argument doesnt even work, because first of all, it was an illusion this whole time created by Kyoka suigetsu
And secondly, it only applies to physical attacks, hence why Soifon cant PIERCE Aizen's skin, therefore actually kill him.
He didnt do anything to Kenpachi because he didnt want to, even Kenpachi himself asked why doesnt he just turn his bones into cookies, because he already imagined Kenpachi as someone strong, as a challenge
it seems easy because he's kenpachi but if they were other captains, they would be to easy for gremmy. Does it seems to be easy for kenpachi? I wonder...
I couldn't imagine having not read the manga and seeing these twerps in the comment section completely spoil the story. I already know what's going to happen and it still bothers me.
The next enemy Kenpachi gonna fight will be so strong even his bankai will not be enough, so don't worry if you think this fight was "easy", the strongest quincies are so strong that doesnt even make sense, so be prepared.
Kenpachi bankai already cut that man in half. The reason he lose because he can't control his bankai. He lost to himself, not Gerald. Remember he push Gerald with one hand after his bankai fail. In BASE form
