Byakuya winning was due to the fact that he had training and the drip from the zero 0 (which helped him blocking NaNaNa’s underbelly and PePe’s abilities). The three quincies that lost to him also were so focused on attacking. Take account this, it was stated before in the previous cour that their Blut abilities cannot be used at the same time, so when they’re using Blut arterie in a form of Vollständig and Sklaverei, their defenses (Blut vene) are pretty much low.

No the drug was inside the zombie arrancars and hitsugaya was injected with the drug when he slashed Charlotte and his blood spread all over him
@@loivern8015Yes that's what I understand also. Because Mayuri said he put the drug into the bodies if the arrancar. So when Charlotte got close to Hitsugaya is when it happened. That's what I understood.
