For the other 4 Squad member, they also has a special condition, all Squad 0 member are just two strong, if they start to use their power it will tremble all the three worlds, which is not a good thing since they are the balancer of the worlds. So Squad 0 has a special seal among them. Squad 0's life is linked with each other to create a blood oath and seal away their power to prevent causing destruction to the balance. However, when 3 members died, the left one was able to break the blood oath and start to use their true power and Bankai, this time Oetsu determined Senjumaru was the best option to handle the Stern Ritter Royal Guard, so they killed themselves to unlock Senjumaru's true power. This is not "They combine power", this is just "unlock their original power which is too strong for the worldS"
If you just think back, we know the 13 Squad Captain and Lieutenant get a seal only when they went to the world of the living, and seal their power to only 20% to prevent influencing the soul in the world of the living. However, Squad 0 other 4 members need to seal their power all the time to prevent their power from destroying the balance in all three worlds, which tells you their powers are all at a completely different level.
The reason Ichibe has no seal is probably because he has perfect control over his power and can do things without his power affecting the worlds.
Great reaction guys. I know many things are confusing but just keep some of these things in mind and you will get the answer in due time. Like the soul king's hand that Ichibei gave to Yhwach so that his irises went back to 1 from 2 in the flashback.
I can try to explain Askin's ability "Death Dealing". Every substance you take in has a lethal dose. Imagine you got bit by a small ant. Its poison won't do much harm to you. But if you got bit by, like, 10000 ants, you can die by the amount of poison. That is the lethal dose of ant's poison. Now Askin can lower/increase that amount. So Askin can make it so you will die by only 1 ant bite(cause Askin lowered the lethal dose to 1 bite only). In anime, he lowered the lethal dose of blood. It means the blood we normally have in our body is too lethal now(Oetsu was overdosing on blood lol). Askin does this by drinking the blood as we saw(It affects him too btw). That's the basic ability.
And you probably noticed but names are super important in Bleach. That's why everyone says the name of their Shikai/bankai/attacks. Names give power. Ichibei's ability is super strong because of this. Notice how even other zero squad members don't call him by his name. They use the word Osho(which means Monk)
The last episode apparently has some production issues(less time). That's why the abrupt end and Kon segment to pad out the episode.
The ending with KON was both a nice comedic relief at the end and a good reminder to appreciate the staff and the hard work they put in. Especially this season with all the behind the scenes drama of “fans” complaining and insulting the staff.
Fans were insulting people? I literally cannot imagine the stupidity of some people. The amount of work put into TYBW is unimaginable.
Senjumaru's Bankai seems to allow Senjumaru to manipulate the space enclosed by her Bankai with her clothwork-literally weaving and sealing victims' fates within. So basically Domain Expansion.

Ichibe's Zanpakuto Ichimonji, basically is a brush-like weapon, Ichimonji itself can't cut flesh, it only targets names like Ichibe's title, before its release, the attack could cut the name in half and causes the target power to be weakened to only half of the original self, once it changes to Shikai form it releases ink with each swing, and once the ink paint anything black that thing will lose its name. A nameless thing holds no power, just like Yhwach's sword has been painted black and become a nameless sword that can't threaten Ichibe anymore. Ichibe could also control all the blacks in the world when he released his power
Shin'uchi: Shirafude Ichimonji (しら筆 一文字, White Brush Straight Line; Viz "White Brush One Written Character"). Ichibe's Bankai power existed long before the concept of "Bankai" was born. it could grant a new name to the target once painted black by Ichimonji, the target will become the same existence as the new name, like Yhwach becoming as weak as a Black Ant. Although Ichibe's sword does not cut or cause crazy destruction like others, its ability is one of the most broken and terrifying Zanpakuto abilities in Bleach. Furthermore, we can see Ichibe himself has way more powerful moves, like his hand and feet which cause giant destruction and he even has other special moves and secret Hado. He does not lack attack power at all and during this battle, Yhwach keeps being pushed back by Ichibe.
Thank you for your hard work completing the second course. It ended with me wondering what would happen next, but everyone feels the same way. I can't read what will happen next. However, please don't forget the mysteries left in the second season, such as Ukitake's shadow, Yuha's crushed eyeball that was shown 1000 years ago, and the power given to Uryu. Let's think about how these will relate to the next chapter. And where Kyoraku went, why the royal guard X slipped through Owetsu's sword, which was not revealed in detail, C's ability, M's ability, etc., are still mysteries. And the unreasonable overwhelming power of the Zero Squad.If they fought seriously, it would lead to the collapse of the Three Realms, so they fought by hiding their true power. It's not surprising since the five of them had more power than 13, but they were cheats. -- This entire opening sequence between Yhwach and Ichibei is exclusive to the anime. We get some pretty important details, Ichibei seemingly is using the Left Hand of the Soul King and Yhwach can't use whatever his abilities are to see through the Soul King. Further, we now see who and how Yhwach abilities became "confined"
(Basically Yhwach absorbs the left hand which in turn seals his Ability)
- With the added scene we get additional context as to what Yhwach motives may be. He seems to be upset about how the three realms came about and he claims that his father, the soul king has been put through humiliation.
- The scene with energy flowing into Yhwach at the table isn't just metaphorical. Given his ability he would be in a constant state of absorbing those who returned to him. That gigantic empire would be full of quincies dying on a regular basis like any population, and every soul that returns to him, he'd feel their anguish, suffering and fear of death.
- The Flashback scene takes place in the World of the Living, it's the Licht Reich which is the Quincies empire.
- The lines "I can see it all" and "I'll show you" is a great expression of their seperate ideals
Yhwach is someone who looks forward and seeks a new future, whereas Ichibei knowns and sees the worlds as it is and wishes to maintain the status quo
- Yhwach for the 1st time shows some emotion here, though he says otherwise he's clearly upset about whatever it was that happened to the soul king
- A scene is removed where Yhwach arragontly ignores Senjumara and steps leisurely pass her, it was a cool scene that express Yhwach's defiance against the Soul Palace and everything they stand for.
- When Yhwach escapes the Cage the camera seems to hone in on Uryu, many have speculated that it is Uryu's unknown ability that allowed for that to occur. The cage makes it impossible for things that have reishi to escape so whatever ability allowed him to get out must be quite strong.
(This isn't how it occurred in the Manga so we don't know either)
-Sidenote, The negotiation would obviously take place before any war started so it's at least 1000 years ago.
-Sidenote 2, Most people who know Ichibei call him Osho, saying his name is dangerous and ould leave you without a voice.
This is the only reaction I've seen where someone noticed how Ichibe moved 3 steps away from his seal at the end.
Remember, Ichibei is the one who named EVERYTHING in the soul society, all the zanpakutos, the Shikai and Bankai, he's technically the God of Bleach but its really the Soul King if you know what I mean. His power is so insane when you first hear it explained, it literally mind boggles lol.
[Tidbits & Clarification][Episode 12]
- The fight sequences between Uryu/Hascwalth and the 0 squad were never in the manga
- Well noted, We know Yhwach is at least 1000 years + in terms of age yet Ichibei speaks as if he's a child compared to him, so imagine how old he is. Additionaly we know Ichibei existed before Shinigami or things like Bankai were even made because he's the one who named them.
- The DeathDealing allows Askin to calculate the "perfect lethal dose" or the amount of something that will cause death of any substance he takes into his body. He can then raise or lower that value as he sees fit, inducing a lethal dosage of that substance in those around them.
(By drinking his Blood He can make blood lethal for example)
- We see that Ichibei seems to relish in the idea of killing Yhwach, further expressing that He isn't some sort of figure of justice.
- the Aucshwallen didn't give the Royal Gaurd Volstanding, rather it literally took the life and power of lesser Quincy and revived them. They simply died before getting the chance to use Volstanding in that 1st exchange.
- The scene with Giselle (Quincy with zombie powers) was so graphic that it made the episode rated M.
-Sidenote, The end Scene with Jushiro and Shunsui is setup for the next cour, and without spoiling you'll finally get information as to why Jushiro is both capable yet always so sickly.
[Episode 13]
- Again this entire Royal Guard vs 0 Squad battle was skipped in the manga, we never got to see anything like a Bankai from them at all.
- Further, we see Ichibei clearly doesn't respect or hold Humans in high regard, he speaks as if they are below him. This is dope because we see that he and Yhwach are practically complete opposites yet are similar in that they are willing to go to any lengths to win. Ichibei operates in in callous manner caring only about the Balance of the world, in contrast, Yhwach is a being that is forced to feel the suffering of humanity (or at least those that return to him) and he seeks to destroy the system that allows it
(Ichibei's feeling of superiority is further on show when he turns him into an ant and steps on him)
- Yeah people are split on the cliff hanger, for some it's simply fells like an unfulfilling place to stop whereas other argue it works given the content that's about to be adapted.
- Sidenote, Believe it or not Senjumaru Bankai will makes more sense after bleach is done, even some manga readers didn't pickup what's actually happening in that moment.
- Sidenote 2, This Cour had scheduling issues that affected the production, the producer of TYBW noted as much himself, and despite that the quality was still rather good (at least imo) it's possible that they may receive a better schedule for Cour 3 meaning that the quality could be far better, which is crazy given what we've gotten so far

Just to break down a couple of things you guys didn't seem sure of.
The flashback of Ywach and Ichibe, Ichibe had one of the Soul Kings arms in his possession and Ywach tried to take it from him. During the process, Ichibe let him take it but the act of taking it sealed Ywach's eyes for some reason. (This entire scene is brand new for the anime so the hows of it aren't yet known)
Also yes, the Soul King is Ywach's father. That is why the Blut Vene appeared on the arm. (Before anyone says this is a spoiler, it is not. It is stated as fact in the episode.)
Askin's shrift is "The Death Dealing". It is actually really simple to understand it's just described weirdly, too much of any substance can kill you. Blood, water, air, sugar, alcohol, etc. - So in real life around 300g will kill a 60KG person (give or take). Askin's ability allows him to alter that lethal level, so he could set it at 0.00001g for a 60KG person and that is how much alcohol it would take to kill them.
Not saying you didn't understand any of those, just solidifying things that seemed to be a question mark!
The problem with the Zero Division is in their power level, what is the point in being that strong if three of your comrades have to kill themselves so you can safely use your sword. Very glass cannon. (80% of the Zero division fight was anime only as well, the bit where Oetsu gets shot through Hikifune and Kirinji's swords is basically the end in the manga. The next time you cut to the fight the other 3 had been off-screened. Senjumaru's Bankai was never seen, so even Manga readers don't know what it actually does yet.)
In fact, going forward things are going to be interesting for manga readers. There are 78 chapters left to adapt and the first 2 cours covered 129 chapters. Which means there is around 38% of the runtime of the next 2 cours that need to be filled, so there is a fair chance of a lot of new content. (Also an enormous argument when it's over, about what is now canon. Hahaha.)
P.S Nice catch on noticing where Ichibe was standing at the end. Hahaha.
Auswählen, the Holy Selection, is one of Yhwach's ability, As we all know Yhwach grant all the Quincies power into their souls, Auswählen is the holy selection Yhwach is able to start when he think is necessary, the holy selection took away the power and the life of all the Quincies he sees as "Unnecessary" and redistribute the power and life to those he sees as "Necessary" or just take it for himself. Auswählen has a very powerful effect, even if you dodge the light it can still strip most of your power, and most Quincies will take everything to the degree that only has bone left. This is why the Quincies live long enough to know that they need to stay useful to Yhwach, because Yhwach could coldly determine your life will be better used if it is redistributed to someone else. And we see it with our own eyes once again, Yhwach be the Quincy King is not because he is worthy of that title, it is because the whole race of Quincies exist to serve Yhwach, there are no room for you to doubt Yhwach, he is the Quincy King and God.
You already know I was waiting for your reactions boys, a shame we couldn't get everyone but amazing reaction regardless!
Yhwach took the Left Arm of the Soul King from Ichibe but it cost him his special eyes that he can only get back if he dies.
Askin's Schrift is D, standing for "The Death Dealing", the function used in this battle is Askin could adjust the lethal dose of a certain substance. Askin this time lowered the lethal dose of Oetsu's blood lethal dose, making the it so low that Oetsu had to bleed to death in order to avoid being killed by his own blood, just like Askin said, another trait he has is he just won't die, we will go more on that in the future, but just from that single function you could tell how deadly is Askin, when you under his ability normally it is a guarantee kill, you have no method to counter the lethal dose amount for your own body. Tenjiro helped Oetsu in this battle and countered the Blood lethal dose to make it possible to counter Askin.
Great reactions, Talented Forever! Lots of new stuff that didn't happen in the manga showed in the last 3 episode. The flashback with Ichibei and Ywach is new, adding a motive for Ywach, the Squad 0 vs Schutzstaffel is new and definitely Senjumaru's Bankai is new. Great fight between them unfortunately, that lame ass sudden cliffhanger though lol i read the manga but how the way that ended lol I was the same, "F that shit!" xD haha
Maybe one of these day we can get Andrew to mime react for us when he's sick again lol 20 mins of him just Mr. Miming his reactions lol haha and Isaac that Bambi scene, i don't remember that from the manga, but man they really did Bambi dirty with the dead body and crap lol poor waifu xD

Senjumaru's Bankai to be honest I can't give a clear explanation because this is completely new stuff, Squad 0 has been done dirty in the manga due to Kubo being told to rush the story to an end and during that time his body health is not good, which makes in the manga Squad 0 didn't get a fit battle for their name. As far as we can see, it seems Senjumaru's Bankai could trap people in different spaces and kill them with different methods, even the royal guard is unable to fight back against it and after everything has been done, they will be sealed in her cloth.
As a manga reader, the last two episodes really shocked me due to there is so much stuff I never imagined we could get the chance to see it.

Ichibe's powers exploit the fact that Names have power in the Bleachverse. Names having power is actually a legimate justificaton for calling attacks and incantations. By cutting or erasing names, Ichibe takes those things power from them.
