3 is just the ultimate zombie movie... terminator atagonist, city in chaos...buddy cop, train set piece, gothic clock tower location...escape city before it's nuked..it's got it all..Also, if you keep creating the same kind of ammo, you will create a special variant of that ammo.. Not sure if you know this, but Nemesis will actually try to bust down the door to get to Jill while she's unconscious...as is his prerogative to eliminate STARS..if you allow him to do so, a unique little cut scene plays out and it's game over..Amd the blob Nemesis feeds off of the dead tyrant in the wall to grow again, really cool stuff
I hard agree. About the ammo thing, I'm not sure the number but I felt I did it enough but neve got the special one. I do know the special isn't compatible with the eagle though :(
Love this game to death. Just recently found a ps1 copy that was pretty much untouched and it’s now one of my prized possessions. RE 3 is the best of the series in my opinion.

I couldn't agree more. It felt like this game opened up the world of Raccoon City a bit more, as we got to see first-hand what the citizens went through during the outbreak. 3 is my favorite, which is why I was disheartened with its "remake".
Yeah for me RE3 is the best in the series too but it could be partly bcs it was the first RE game i have ever played. RE3's graphics were also nicer than RE2 but the biggest pro of RE3 was undoubtly the Nemesis. The idea of a super powerful boss who randomly appears on the map and chases you down was a first in video games i think and it was absolutely terrifying

Resident Evil 3 Nemesis inspired me as a horror game dev! Only a minute into your video now so I don't know what your reasons are, but I love RE3 more than the first two as well. The music. The gothic Raccoon City in ruins. Nemesis causing dread throughout the whole game. The remake is a tragedy, not even close to as good as the original RE3. Hearing the credits roll and that piano music hit as Raccoon City is engulfed by the explosion always makes me feel nostalgic. Yes, I still play the game when I am looking to be creatively inspired for the next project.
You wrote down everything I feel about the og RE3. Also, the way Nemesis slaughters Brad (soon after he released, there's no escape from him) and when he shoots down the helicopter are the most iconic scenes in the whole franchise.
I like how Nemesis killed brad, before identifying Jill as a Stars member. It showed it's relentless, single minded goal. Search and destroy at any cost.
The best RE game of the PS1 trilogy. Dont get me wrong, RE1 has its charm and RE2 was awesome but RE3 stepped up everything in regards to function , aesthetic, and the fact Nemesis was horrifying. The Remake was lack luster in comparison. It could have been the magnum opus of the remake trilogy but they dropped the ball.
i´m still so mad they cut the clocktower from the remake -.- And still no spiders.. I really think they just left them out because Spiders would be the only scary thing in the remakes. I knew so many people are afrait of Horror games... but I just play horror. And that the spiders are missing in both remakes made me cry... Great video!
7:18 As all puzzles in this game, this one also have RNG! When you first enter the room and see the pointers of the clocks it tells you how to proceed with the stones! I don't remember them that good as I did before but I've recently seen speedrunners who are doing the puzzle in seconds cause they know what combination to use according to the starting position of the pointers of all 3 clocks or it was only the pointer of the middle one - something like that.
Besides RE1 remake, RE3 Nemesis is my all time fav and best of the RE series. I like Jill and Nemesis thr cat and mouse setting. I hope they can remake this game in a way they made the RE1 remake.
You forgot to mencion some important things, things use to set a diference between this game and the anothers. 1 - Jill can dodge and push enemies. 2 - If you make ammo consecutive times, recomended with just one gun powder, Jill will acumulate experiencie with Reloading Tool and you can got Enchanced Ammo for Shotgun and Handgun, it's almost more effective than magnun. 3 - Acid grenades against Nemesis on factory (before last fight) its very effective. 4 - Nemesis in the first form, strangely have a lot of buged points on map buged, you can use thoose points to shoot him without take damage, beacuse he simple be stuck on obstacles. 5 - In the new game plus, without infinte ammo active(Mercenaries Mode activement), if you kill Nemesis all times, after you recover from the virus with vaccine, if you kill Nemesis second form instead, he give you Infinete Ammo item, than the weapon you combine this item , will have infinite ammo until the end of the game.

I actually prefer to jump out of the window of the cable car because it makes the Clocktower Fight with Nemesis easier. If you jump out of the window, then Carlos won’t show up to blow up Nemesis’ rocket launcher, and Nemesis won’t use his tentacle attack that can one-hit-kill Jill.
I've played it 1999 when the first came out and I was pretty much the only one who loved it in the PS1 game centre we were visiting back then. I kept saying that this game is way better than RE1 and RE2. That time internet was a brand new thing in my country and I've always visited game sites polls, voted for this game to win against Tomb Raider and Lara Croft as there were people who liked Lara's looks back then more than Jill's looks which was absolutely ridiculous. Jill was a perfect creation and the game graphics were pretty much unbeatable at this point. Many people refused to accept the obvious though. Anyways. So many fans still love this game and it seems like they're multiplying every day which is great. I was right.

Do you think that og re3 fans are justified in their disapointment and disdain for resident evil 3 remake? I ask cause i was 18 when i played the original and same as you it was my favorite of the ps1 trilogy. After seeing resident evil 1 remake in 2002 on gamecube everyone was like "whoa i wonder re2 would look like remade"😂 My mind was similar thinking but, for my fav in the og series re3 nemesis. (We were all wanting remakes of these classic games even as far back as 2002) I had such high hopes coming off of re1 remake. I thought: if they could improve re1 in every single way from it's original (graphics, sound, more fluid control,new enimies/bosses, new level design/added areas that weren't in the original, new weapons) not only not cutting anything no matter how small but, adding to it to make it the go to version of resident evil for most fans old and new alike. Imagine what re3 would be like remade like this. Sadly i didn't feel that playing the remake of 3. I feel like they cut too much out to put resources into a crappy online expansion that no one wanted or asked for rather than giving us a faithful remake that improves on everything the original did like the re1 remake did for re1 Even the remake of 2 cut some things from the original. They were small things and not nearly as aggrigeous as the cuts made in re3 remake. Overall i liked re2 remake. It felt good to play i was hesitant when i 1st heard they were going ots camera (over the shoulder) for fear it would play like re4 and re5 heavy emphasis on action but when the 1 shot demo popped i tried it and i was blown away (not by the graphics, although they were gorgeous) I was blown away that it played like a resident evil/horror game. Limited ammo drops/spongy enemies/dark moody atmosphere. I was thinking: ok, so capcom does still know how to make a tense and scary resident evil. There's hope that re3 remake will be this good. Even after going through all the other games multiple times RE3 is also my favorite, been running through it on original PS1 hardware multiple times to unlock all the epilogue endings btw you havent lived until you run through the game twice getting all the Nemesis drops both times to choose infinite ammo for the magnum worth it
RE1 started it all and set the standard. RE2 has the best story and characters. RE3 is the best to play and because of RNG is always different with each play through.
My favorite game of all time, and Jill Valentine is the best RE character. First time I played it I was 6 years old, now I’m 30 and I still play it to feel happy 🤍
Because it’s reimagined, to put it simply they pulled a reverse sonic generations, instead of having something near the old and something remixing those ideas in a new way isn’t really the remake MO anymore, at least 4make was good though

RE1 remains the definitive RE game for me, but I would not deny anyone saying 3 is at the top. It’s a pretty darn solid game, even if I do prefer 2 over it. The first three games are just great games and do things great in different ways.
Have you heard of RE3 SHDP? Search it up. Diehard fans like us made the definitive version of the OG RE3. It's basically the Gamecube port of RE3, but hi-res'd textures to the point of basically a remaster. Go check out RE3 SHDP!!! Also, I love fighting Nemesis on Hard Mode with no auto aim. Manual aim all the way.
I have! I was actually going to use that version for this video. I kept running into technical problems though, and ended up using the PS1 version instead sadly. It's an insane mod though!
@@chasel0l424 Technical problems? It's easy. You just download the files, and drop them in the "User" and "Load" folders. That's literally it! Then you map controls and you're good to go. Also, you gotta set the path for where the game rom is. If you need help just ask me

I'll be fair I'll comment before I watch this video: For me it will always come down to RE-2 and RE-3 ps1 as the best resident evil games ever and since they included "super natural powers like Wesker in RE code Veronica X" everything became anime crap downhill...but between the two of them RE2 & RE3... RE3 wins by a hairline. RE3 has an amazing map setting that lets you explore the city unlike RE2...besides that it has one terrifying opponent with both speed and strength and appears randomly at times! -"NEMESIS" unlike RE2's Mr X. which was cringe (with his name & MJ hat) and Berkin who was slow and easy to kill were both annoying in my opinion. RE3 also incorporates Umbrella's mercenary faction that gives you more depth into the backstories also the game gives u multiple scenario choices where it can give you an alternate cutscenes... All in all RE3 -PS1 is the best RE game for me ever...shame about the remake... nothing beats this classic...all it needed was a remaster not a remake.
To think that a game that came out in 1999 with limited time and technology is far far superior to a game that came out in 2020 with the latest technology, those that say the RE3 remake is better are just looking at the shiny new graphics cuz that’s all the remake has over the original
Good video! Though, The goddess/stone puzzle is actually pretty simple. It's been a while, but the past goddess should be an amber stone, because amber captures the past. I believe the future goddess was some kind of crystal, because apparently crystals tell the future. And the only one left is obsidian. And that represents the present for some reason.
Not quite. Each stone has a weight value of 1, 2, or 3 (I don't remember the order) and each tray has a different effect. The Past decreases the hour by the stone's value, the Present advances the hour by the stone's value and the Future advances the hour by double the stone's value. There are six different combinations and one is applied randomly to each playthrough. The simple thing is to work out how each combination changes the hour, write all six down and check which is relevant when you enter the puzzle room.
Capcom should have made a dlc for the remake with the story of Nikolai i really liked his character and my headcanon is that he survived the missile and is still a mercenary for hire

I agree that this is the best RE game (of course, this is tentative, because I haven't player all of them, yet).
I always say that RE1 Remake is obketcively the best RE of the franchise by my personal favorite Resident Evil will always be 3 Nemesis
I often play the modded hack fan game and made nemesis buff and scarier like the original standard version
What's really upsetting to me is that re3 remake got shafted in development and got a poor remake just like the original it was a rushed job

Have you heard of RE3 SHDP? Search it up. Diehard fans like us made the definitive version of the OG RE3. It's basically the Gamecube port of RE3, but hi-res'd textures to the point of basically a remaster. Go check out RE3 SHDP!!!
Also, I love fighting Nemesis on Hard Mode with no auto aim. Manual aim all the way.
I have! I was actually going to use that version for this video. I kept running into technical problems though, and ended up using the PS1 version instead sadly. It's an insane mod though!
@@chasel0l424 Technical problems? It's easy. You just download the files, and drop them in the "User" and "Load" folders. That's literally it!
Then you map controls and you're good to go. Also, you gotta set the path for where the game rom is. If you need help just ask me
@@KT-rq9id Oh no it was running, but I was dropping frames while recording, and the audio would drag because of it. I didn't really check past the first couple of hours, but it was enough to bother me.

I'll be fair I'll comment before I watch this video: For me it will always come down to RE-2 and RE-3 ps1 as the best resident evil games ever and since they included "super natural powers like Wesker in RE code Veronica X" everything became anime crap downhill...but between the two of them RE2 & RE3... RE3 wins by a hairline. RE3 has an amazing map setting that lets you explore the city unlike RE2...besides that it has one terrifying opponent with both speed and strength and appears randomly at times! -"NEMESIS" unlike RE2's Mr X. which was cringe (with his name & MJ hat) and Berkin who was slow and easy to kill were both annoying in my opinion. RE3 also incorporates Umbrella's mercenary faction that gives you more depth into the backstories also the game gives u multiple scenario choices where it can give you an alternate cutscenes... All in all RE3 -PS1 is the best RE game for me ever...shame about the remake... nothing beats this classic...all it needed was a remaster not a remake.
I feel like 2 is the best in my opinion however Resident Evil 3 is really good i do love this one not the remake the original. The remake sucks!

Good video! Though, The goddess/stone puzzle is actually pretty simple. It's been a while, but the past goddess should be an amber stone, because amber captures the past. I believe the future goddess was some kind of crystal, because apparently crystals tell the future. And the only one left is obsidian. And that represents the present for some reason.
Not quite. Each stone has a weight value of 1, 2, or 3 (I don't remember the order) and each tray has a different effect. The Past decreases the hour by the stone's value, the Present advances the hour by the stone's value and the Future advances the hour by double the stone's value. There are six different combinations and one is applied randomly to each playthrough. The simple thing is to work out how each combination changes the hour, write all six down and check which is relevant when you enter the puzzle room.
