Thank you YES for posting this on RUclips. You make this Yankee fan remember when I used to go to Old-Timers Day at the Old Yankee Stadium. Good memories, well done.
Awesome video! Yankee Schnook, I envy you for going to Old-Timers Day at the old stadium, that would have been amazing!
I'm from the Baltimore area so I'm obviously not a Yankee fan AT ALL! However I do appreciate and deeply respect the tradition and history of the Yankee franchise and what they have meant to baseball. To see legends like Whitey Ford and Don Larson makes the hair on the back of my neck stand straight up. Thanks YES for posting this, I REALLY appreciate it!
Teejay lyrics of Christmas songs
Fun Fact:The Yankees were the original Baltimore Orioles
Kudos to Yankees for doing this. Top notch organization
Old Timers Day is the best thing the Yankees do. Hope Week is a close second. I too have to go to one of these
How They Were Able To Take Mr.Shepard"s Voice, So Many yrs After He Passed & Spliced Together !!!! Stay Strong....Peace
What a classy organization the Yankees are. Honoring past Yankees and the wives of those that have passed. The Yankees are awesome. Thank you
I wish every team in Major League Baseball would do an Old Timers Day. It would be great to see the great players of the past to return.
I miss watching Bernie play. At his best he was one of the best.
Also for Tim "Rock" Raines, it's about damn time.
Thank you Yes for posting this. I now live down South and can not get your station. How Awesome was it seeing All these Great Yankees of the past! Whitey Ford looks Great!!!!
Just think maybe 10-20 years we may be seeing Jeter arod bernie Williams Marino Rivera.
Marino Rivera was in the 2019 all-timers game
RIP Whitey Ford and Don Larsen
It was so good to see the 77-78 Champs there, Randolph, Bucky, Reggie, Guidry, Goose, White, Mick the Quick, Doyle,Sparky. it would have really been nice to also see Pinella, Nettles, and Chambliss on the 40th anniversary of that 77 team.
They def went overboard with the Tim Raines stuff here compared to the other greats announced before him.
1st timers they lay it on thick
I miss this.
Thank you for posting!!!
I want to go to on of these one day, my dad used to go when he was a kid
There are many names you hear and you automatically see them in Yankee Pinstripes: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Billy Martin, Don Mattingly...and Tanyon Sturtze.
lmao
Ten run Sturtze
very emotional!!
Hard to believe this was one year ago I’m in Texas now so I won’t be able to watch the ceremony this year hopefully this year ceremony will be uploaded to this channel
BRAVO!BRAVISSIMO!!!
IT'S GOOD TO BE A YANKEE!!!
Ruth, gehrig, DiMaggio, mantle,yogi....hard to top yankee old timers day, red Sox fan
As a Jays fan I had no idea this existed this is sooooo cool!
When Jeter is honored in that ceremony, I want to be there that day. I am not joking.
Um ok
Why would you upload this in 360p??
If all living Yankees were present at old timers' day, I would introduce them in the following order (in reverse order): Jeter, Rivera, Guidry, Williams, Pettitte, Posada, Mattingly, O'Neill, Jackson, Torre, Randolph, Martinez, Gossage, Nettles, Richardson, Kubek, Rodriguez, Cone, White, Matsui, Mussina, Sabathia, Cano, Clemens, Teixeira, Winfield, Righetti, Gardner, Piniella, Dent, Lyle, Rivers, Chambliss, Henderson, Soriano, Giambi, Wells, Brosius, Knoblauch, Girardi, Boggs, Boone, Flaherty, and prior to that any others I can't think of.
Did I get it right?
Tanyon dead?
At 13:21 Robert Guillaume the guy that played Benson on the TV show by that name could be seen taking his hat off. I didn't know that Benson was a one time Yankee !! Go figure !!
It’s sad that Jim Leyritz isnt at these games... He has been living a good Christian life... Does allot of charity work also...
I went to this game
A really nice ceremony it's too bad that hardly anybody shows up for it anymore. When I was a kid the place is always full and they couldn't wait for a Mickey Mantle to be an ounce, well maybe someday we'll be full again!!!
I bet it will be full when Derek Jeter comes back. It should be full regardless Yankee fans should always support the players who came before the ones we like to watch now
The only good thing about the fact that they destroyed the house that Ruth built is when it comes time to build the next new stadium they can build it exactly on top of where the old one was.
Who is the new voice of Yankee stadium
Paul Olden
What hasn’t Bobby Brown done? Lmao
Def did ur mom
Not a Yankees fan by any means But respect there legacy
I loved seeing the old timers come out
I just wish after all these years that Thurman Munson himself would still be alive.

"There's no professional sports team that has a history like the New York Yankees and no team that can match their success."
Have you ever even heard of soccer?
Real Madrid have 33 championships and 12 Champions League trophies. We're not even gonna count all the other domestic trophies they won either. The Yankees are the Real Madrid of baseball. Simple as that.
No one GivesAShit about soccer.
Shove your soccer.
Get Real. Shove Madrid.
Futball
I dont want to see all the bullshit, I want to see the game
Dumb
This goes on for too long. Too many people nobody really remembers.
You've gone on for too long.
No one GivesAShit about you.
Fuckface...
You've gone on far too long.
Forget you.
Does anyone else think that the Yankees using Bob Sheppard's voice on the PA system is getting a bit old and kind of morbid? Let go already. What's next, Mel Allen's bones in the broadcast booth? Howwwwwah 'bout that!
Well yeah it is old but that man announced since the 1950s that's lots of years and kids now should get a chance to hear his voice once in the stadium.
You know sarge, as a Met fan, I respect all of the Yankee tradition and am in awe of their success. No other team in professional sports jerks itself off more than the Yankees over their own traditions & success however. It's time to towel off, blow dry their Joe Pepitone hair and just be the best.

You know, John, you're the only jerkoff here.
