- How to farm manufactured materials, the most efficient method if you relog.
Use this website: edgalaxy.net/h...
Or use inara and find the best system with the following considerations.
Core dynamics & proprietary composites - Federation, high population (billions), state nil/election. Try LP413-18
Military Grade Alloys - Any system, high population, state war/civil war.
Imperial Shielding - Empire, high pop, state none/election.
Proto Heat Radiators - Independent, high pop, state boom.
Pharmaceutical Isolators - Any system (Alliance/independent?), any population, state outbreak (many in outbreak, none in any other state ie war?)
Improvised Components - Independent, any population, state civil unrest.
Proto Light Alloys and Proto Radiolic Alloys - Independent or Alliance, high population, state boom. Sources drop a mix of the two materials.
Looks like you forgot Core Dynamics Composites from the list in the video description (Federation, high pop, state none/election.) The System "LP 413-18" seems to always spawn them.
Thanks, I’ll add it on.
Proto Radiolic Alloys are best found in Alliance, High Tech, Boom, High Pop systems. You can find them also in Independent, High Tech, High Pop, Boom systems, but they will more likely to have proto light alloys mixed in with them.
Thanks, I’ll check those out and add to the spreadsheet.
Assasinations of "Known Pirates" threat level 8 (the ones that fly Corvettes) will almost always drop a few Pharmaceutical Isolators.
A more fun way for those happy with level 8, cheers
Tip: Use min-ed-launcher's auto restart feature for relogging. It restarts the game way faster than the normal launcher and can get you a few extra loops depending on how much time is left.
Didn’t know about that one, thanks.
Could you explain what exactly you mean with "min-ed-launcher" ?
@@redroyce4590 It's an alternate game launcher. Its readme includes how to use auto restart.
@@redroyce4590 I assume they mean minimum elite dangerous launcher
Great guide, thank so much for these. o7
Seen you on the Starship simulator dev stream Buur, o7.
@@R0d_1984 hello buddy :) o7
No problem, I’m sure they help ;)
Oh yes that’s a good one, star trekking across the universe, on the starship enterprise under Captain Burr!
Pretty crazy how complected this is...
Don’t forget how boring it is if you try to do all materials in one go. I made this video for the next time I need to do mats as I keep forgetting. But I’ll probably do them more frequently now the SCO drive speeds up transit
YEAH, Improvised Component - No Signals Found....
Thankfully i farmed all this resource before odyssey came. It made me despise mat farming with a passion.
Found some with the third system I tried, it was a three drop at star system: Phanes, heres the filter I used inara.cz/elite/nearest-starsystems/?formbrief=1&ps1=Sol&pi3=0&pi4=0&pi5=0&pi7=0&pi1=0&pi23=0&pi6=0&pa2%5B%5D=7&pi26=0&ps3=&pi24=0
@@AC-gu9ks in fairness, I found improvised components the second worst with pharma isolators worse, but its the luck of the draw too.
@@y_ffordd found both yesterday. Full and happy again
Nice video!
Personally i have only ever done this method ONCE in my life and immediately realised why i'd never done it before. It's BORING!
The way I get mats (including Pharmaceutical Isolators), is by going to a conflict zones and doing my favorite activity! I have fun for as many hours as i feel like!
{After each ship blows up, i send out a fleet of limpets to scoop up materials - Tip1: Anacondas have the best materials. Tip 2: When i am in a hurry or want as many mats as fast as possible, i use an Anaconda specifically designed for this which has 3 limpet controllers so i can scoop fast}
Thanks, a good alternative, I think both methods can be boring, but with HGE you can target only the mats you need.
