Few thoughts. Since you have multicannons - you don't really want or need more corrosive effects on your pacifiers. The effect doesn't stack as far as I know and you just lose precious ammo and some DPS you could have by getting other experimental effect. Second: it's PvE and bounty hunting that really need as much ammo as possible. Frag builds aren't very effective because they run out of ammo very fast. You really don't want to move back and forth from res site to station and vice versa, because it's time consuming and time means money. Same goes with prismatic shields. When they are done they are done and you need to replenish them on station for it takes forever to charge them up in space. You really want to have bi-weaves with fast regen for bounty hunting. The only instance I'd go with frag build and prismatic shield for PvE is doing assassination contracts when you have to deal with small number of well armed and engineered NPC ships - and you don't have fully engineered ship.
Agreed on almost all : For the shield, prismatics are excellent in PVE. Just reboot when you're running low between two fights and you're back up to 50% shield strength
@@marcog6470 that won't work if you are in MED CZ being attacked by whole SPEC OPS team. And don't try to be smartass. Anyone who plays the game for more than a month knows this trick.
Putting corrosive on more than one hard point is a waste, the reduction in armor hardness doesn't stack. I'd keep corrosive on one multi cannon and put incendiary on the other multi. Frags maybe mix of incendiary and something else.
Try 6 plasmas build. 4 large with efficient and 2 medium with short-range (or efficient too). I told you, this weapons configuration is insane 550+ dmg per trigger press.
it's not really viable on the mk2 as the power distributor and plant are only a class 6 and PAs draw a lot of power and distro as well. Frag cannons are ideal because they don't draw a lot of either of them. Look at it from the perspective of the krait - the MK2 has one more large hardpoint and a downclassed distro, so it can't really supply its hardpoints
@@paradoxx_4221 you can split 6 hardpoints in to 2 separate fire groups like 2L+1M primary and secondary, you can engineer all 6 plasmas to efficient blueprint and have enough power to supply all 6 weapons. And it's not just theory - i am flying this configuration right now.

EVER i did it 6 years ago in the python mk1, every 1v1 i had with people using those plasmas (close to 100 fights) i never lost a fight
I have a similar build. My internals are more hardy with hull and module reinforcements as well as a fuel tank, scoop and interdictor. As for the frags, I use four pacifiers with rapid fire and screening shell. These offer almost no reload time and higher damage per shot. For the mediums, I use two pre engineered rails- hi cap, long range with feedback. These out performs the hammers.
consider using single corrosive shell multicanon size 2 and thermal vent long range beam laser 2 for this build... it would allow you to debuff their ship before shooting the pacifier... with no downside on the pacifiers themselves. You only need 1 gun with corrosive shell do add the debuff for all guns. Also use class b collectors... longer range. A fighter with a Carrer nearby does not need a frame shift booster... better to have more cargo or more armor
Overcharged is superior on pacis and frags, use together with incendiary. Corrosive doesn't stack, use one weapon on the mediums with that effect. A krait or python would make a better combat mats collector. Go full combat build with the python mk2.
I am using 4 x Advanced Plasma ( efficient and Plasma slug ) and 2 Imperial Hammers ( long range and plasma slug ) A lot of fun, but can generate some serious heat if not careful !!
Do you have corrosive on all 4 of those Pac's? I would suggest only put corrosive on the MC's. Corrosive reduces total ammo. Easier to afford on MC's especially if paired with hi-cap. Save the Pac's for more damage total to get more love out of the corrosive set down by those MC's.

High resistance prismatic can be awesome, on a frag ship you will run out of ammo first :) Best on a vette with 2 off 7b shield banks. However not for use on a P2 that likes to hang around lol...
@kempo79 Firstly, there is no 'right' design. However, on a vette with high resistance, you can tank all spec ops in CZ's, they are 'end game' content outside of Thargoids. Resistances in Haz Rez on most ships is the way to go. For medium ships with low hp from a poor shield multiplier, extra hp is valid as several hits from engineered ships can still kill you in CZ's. Alternatively, have a medium weapon with thermal shock on it and attack spec ops with it, and they will stop firing at you while they are at 100 % heat.
