    IMO the saw bogging down in this case is (mild and understandable) user error. Watch the cut guide very carefully during your cut at 6:15 and you should be able to see that the saw goes off angle a bit, with continued (albeit slight) wobbling further in the cut. It's totally natural, but preventable, especially if you can watch both the front indicator and the blade at the same time as it enters the material. I'm not sure how the visibility is on the blade on this saw is; I'm itching to try it out. Just as a comparison though, my 18v metabo 6.5" (which I love) can cut smooth and quick on a 45 when it is lined up *perfectly*. Add in some wobble like in this video, and it probably would get bound up, or at the very least throw off the blade angle enough to cause problems. I'll probably buy the new rear handle eventually - especially because of dust collection - but I don't see any of these battery saws, worm drive or otherwise, competing with the power of my $50 corded skil saw
