- We take a look at the new metabo HPT Multivolt Rear handle 7-1/4" circular saw C3607DWAQ4. This is a great saw added to their multivolt lineup, using their multivolt batteries. We test the saw using a 4ah Multivolt battery (36v 4ah). It shares a lot of similarities with the Makita GSR01 and the XSR01 in it's design and functionality. While it may not be the fastest cutting saw, it is nice cutting saw. Comes with a dust port and blade.

I think this guy is eventually going to have massive subscribers. That leader board is awesome lol
Agreed💯💯💯
I'd love to see a video for top tools for 2022 tested
Great saw! I love it. It has a good performance to weight ratio. Feels similar to the xgt and I really love that saw. I hope your channel gets the follow it deserves. Good stuff!
Thanks I was waiting for your review on this saw. I like mine.
Thanks again for the video. We purchased two more saws during the July 4th holiday sale...decided to move away from Ridgid and Ryobi ... buying more Flex and Metabo multi-volt. Have a great July 4th weekend 👍❤️🙏
I got mine on sale as a kit for 200. It’s a very nice tool especially at 200. I like mine. Better than the Milwaukee for sure
Again, another awesome video brother.
Nice video. Other saws cut faster, but that is the lightest rear-handle out there. It still probably cuts faster than a corded Mag77, and won't cut out even if it bogs a bit--see the Workshop Addict video where he makes a bunch of successful cuts in the dead-ass cold.
love the channel!
I'm in multiple battery platforms, don't really have a favorite. metabo hpt is good stuff
agreed!
Long Story Short, I’m buying it
It's the other way round Hitachi/hikoki bought metabo. Although in Europe hikoki and metabo tools are not compatible, since the metabo range are on the CAS battery system
This is a great
Have had 2 of these on jobsite for over a month
Guys can't keep their hands off it
Great saw
Metabo HPT is really bringing it with their 36V tools
Took your word on these Metabos if you recall and my rear handle died in two weeks from plywood and 2x materials. Blade is still like new. Going to try and warranty it but I'm definitely disappointed in even having to deal with it. My DeWalts are still going strong for 5+ years now.
@@Tool_Addicted_Carpenter we have 3 Metabo, 2 Makita's and a Milwaukee and 1 DeWalt we put on the Prazi beam saw
The Metabo s get used the most and we have had em almost 5 months now
Maybe a lemon
Great thing is that I have 30+ Metabo cordless tools and have never had to use the warranty except for one 4.0 Multivolt battery after using the crap out of iMetabo had a new one I'm the mail in 10 days total turn around
@@baseballdude8491 I left it on site to sleep on it over the weekend but ultimately I think I'm going to try and warranty it. It was obviously frustrating to be in the middle of a workday and have the main saw just straight up die mid cut but that's the beauty of having a dozen saws on hand lol
Gotta test the DCS578 !
Encore une video sur la coche jaime cette series de tester les scie avec des chiffre de voir la diference entre les marque
Shocked to hear that this is lighter than metabo HPT's 36v sidewinder circular saw!
love mine too been using over a month no problems. lot cheaper than a makita. can be powered with a ac adapter
Love mine!!! Had the DeWalt with 9a battery but it was over 2 # heavier and I have a torn rotor cuff. This does everything better and the batteries have alot of run-time
No, Metabo didn’t acquire Hitachi. Hitachi acquired Metabo and the Hitachi Corporate sold both to KKR Koki holdings Japan.
Best in class - I hate heavy tools - lightest on the market - Milwaukee I had motor burnt out
That was a strong ass cough😂
Hey can you do a review on the
DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60-Volt MAX Cordless Brushless 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw with Brake with (1) FLEXVOLT 9.0Ah Battery
oh man, you really did it. To be honest, they are very similar to the Makita. Price is reasonable.
of course! price on it is great. especially as a kit. a sense of nice to use also comes to mind...
I heard that way back in the day the makita and hitachi founders were rivals and neighbors.
I've borrow this saw to a friend to try it its nice the power is ok but i've overheated the batery very fast.
Your friend must be doing a lot of cutting.
Can you please test the Dewalt dcs 578 ,I like blade right saws?
ok. it's on the to do list. will have to go get one.
👍
In fact, Hitachi power tools acquired Metabo.
Hey if anybody can help me decide between Bosch and metabo please respond because I need to buy a new saw and those are my two favorite brands so I don't know what one to get. Thanks
My vote is go metabo hpt
They consider the lifetime of the tool to be while they are still producing it.
that's probably fair
For metabo, tool body just means the tool and not the battery or blade.
Thanks!
I really don't like the rear handle saws, I wish they would make a blade left sidewinder in 7-1/4 I but I do prefer the blade right for ripping but for cross cuts the blade left
They do have the blade right 36V 7 1/4 and a 6 1/2 circ saw, it's been out for over 3/4 yrs-its a good saw and Lowes and others have had them in kits and on sale quite a bit-i prefer blade left for framing for better precision and vision
We turned our blade rights into concrete and metal cutting saws as we now have two of the rear handles and can't put em down
You're not going to use a speed square on the right side here
Long story short..?
ended up with more like long story longer
long story short
“Hikoki”
The reason most people like this saw is its lighter then others.
Underpower tho
Only have small battery 2p kind sad look at the baterie hoosing its clear that there no room left for bigger batery
No way Dewalt should be on top of that list.. The Dewalt batteries are GARBAGE.. I just gave away my entire Dewalt platform and switched over to Metabo HPT everything..
Stop saying long story short , you said it to much
