It was interesting listening to Materazzi (engineer) and Fioravanti (designer) talk about the F40 as someone who has loved it as a kid until now. I found it interesting that the middle section is still the 308. Also I’ve always been a Lancia and Alfa Romeo fan. They have made so many great cars over the years. I hate that Lancia hasn’t done anything cool in a while and even the worst Alfas have a lot of soul
The 5 greatest Italian cars of all time are the Lancia Fulvia the Lancia Stratos the Alfa Romeo 164 the Alfa Romeo 166 and the first generation Countach
Instead of that modern Giulia sure better the 33 Stradale by Alfa Romeo, despite built in very small number it was better looking than almost all other supercars. And of course Stratos and/or rally winning Delta cannot be forgotten.
sad thing is that the roadlegal Zondas don't have a racy, high rev power V12.... The low rev torque character doesn't match the high pitched F1 howl.☹️ People don't really realize this.
Just a small detail: it's spelled "Lambda". And I'd add the Lancia Stratos. First ever ground-up rally car, Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stadale as one of the best-looking cars EVER and the Ferrari 250 GTO because no car gets any more legendary than that.
The Muira easily is most iconic because of what it created. The Zonda to me is my #1. Been my fav car for over 20yrs. Thats the dream to me. And think of the chain reaction. Lamborghini was born because of Ferrari…and Pagani was born because of Lamborghini.
@Glumandino I'm not sure about Brahbam, but Horacio Pagani is Argentinian. Trained and studied in Argentina, so the engineering and design that goes into making the car came from Argentinian design and engineering principles, even though it's inspired by and assembled in Italy. It's the same with the Ford GT40, that car is British, doesn't matter that it had an American emblem on it
Pagani is an Italian brand. Horacio Pagani is Argentinian. The cars are producted in Italy in the motor valley. Horacio couldn't have built them in Argentina.
A weird suggestion to add to this list, The original Fiat Panda
STRATOS? DELTA? BIRDCAGE TYPE61? GHIBLI? "DAYTONA" 365 GTB4?
Times 1000
Plus Espada
@@davidbeaulieu1305 037?
GTO, 250SWB 250 California Spyder, Isotta Fraschini, Alfa romeo 2600 Spyder, ecc.
Where is the 33 stradale!?!
🤬
I missed 1968 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.👽🖖😎
There should be at least 90 great cars from Italy
Lancia 037 for the looks, and for taking on the 4WD monsters of Group B.
Also, 365GTB Coupe, Lancia Delta, and Ferrari 250 series, all of them, every last one.

Trouble is Italy has made so many superb cars over the years pinning it down to 10 is almost impossible imo.
FIat 128 is one of the most influential italian car, the fornt engine/transmission/steering/suspension layout is everywhere.
wait what? where is the lancia delta integrale? dislike!
Maserati might have merited a mention in this list. The original Quattroporte maybe?
I would omit the Zonda and include the Integrale
F40 the best of the best!!

ストラトス、デルタ、037、F40、ジュリア、カウンタック、250
Not a single 250 chassis feels like a crime
I think you missed the FIAT 1500.
No Maserati? Crimes. And what about a LaFerrari? One of the most important Ferrari’s ever
250 GTO and Delta Integrale should have made this list?!!
The Quadrifoglio's engine had nothing to do with Ferrari, that was just speculation at the time based on a few of the engines stats, like V angle.
Autobianchi bianchina cabriolet and the A112, y need second o third parts od this video. Thanks for love cars

Pagani = Argentina
Lamborghini = German
You = take better info
There is not a single bolt from Argentina in a car by Pagani.
Technically Pagani is Argentinian
@@GhibliNova That's a bit far stretched, it's like saying Brabham was an Australian constructor team.
