In black it would make a great CATMOBILE
matte black with green headlights would be absolutely mad
TWR has given the enthusiasts a real gift. With all of the XJS cars out there needing a new lease on life, fans can find this instructive. Would love to see a whole movement breathe new life into these cars.
17:13 "I wanted to keep it going straight, but it doesn't seem to want to."
That is one baaaaaaad kitty!
I really like it except for the headlights and that front splitter.
Remove the splitter and make some proper headlights (instead of what looks like some generic Amazon LED lights) and the front would look so much better!
Also dash is crap, and the fact that boot isn,t separeted from cabin
Agreed, the splitter has to be re-designed if not removed totally.
I love, love this design. The new retro almost 80's design seems like its beginning to come to the forefront and I'am all for it.
"It's probably a good idea for somebody to remind the world that the brand exists"
Boy did they ever....
oooooohhhhh!!! so this is what that commercial was getting on about! i get it now!!
0:15 You're not too much exposed if you only consider Singer and RUF as viable options
Damn that sound is amazing.
what a cool dude- his son is !!!--OMG that sounds mega !!!
This is what youtube should be used for... instead of buying a GT3 and doing a "road trip to the nurburgring" why not buy one of these and drive to every track in the uk within 6 months, setting a lap time at each one. Now that would be a series worth watching!
Beautiful.
Really?
Great Heritage for TWR, always rember Tom Wailkinshaw whom I meet first in 81 In Spa for the 24 hours with the mazda RX7, later with the Rover and Jaguars for the hours hunt, .... as a Mazda and Rotary fan a Resto Mod RX7 with a 4 Rotor natural aspirated would be my dream!
Much more of a mod than a restomod
That TWR Supercat looks absolutely incredible. I would much rather have one of these bad boys over a 911 restomod. Comfortable, interesting, unique, superfast, and just down right COOL. Anywhere you would go in this beautiful piece of automobile artwork, you would probably never get to your location due to the amount of people who would stop you and either ask what it is, or just want to talk about the car because it is so unique. I guarantee you would be the hit of any car meet, cars and coffee, and/or rally. I give full credit to the creators of this incredible restomod. .............Ya'll did good!
That is stunning 😮
Old enough to remember TWR the first time round, even attended the liquidation sale at BH back in the day, and experience racing against the XJS back in the day and have the road going T5R Volvo “maybe the next to be restomodiffied, Just brilliant to see TWR back in the UK. Very excited for the future of the brand, well done.
After what jaguar has done with marketing it's over
Now thats a badass Jag. Thank you TWR for making something so cool again
God it looks good 😍
Thanks for saving as many XJS and giving them the life they always dreamed of 😁👍
This is endlessly more interesting than “Bugatti convertible goes fast”
JLR take note - this is a Jaaaaag.
What a stunning reamagine of the xjs 👏👏👏👏👌
YESEEEESSSSS YES YESSSS!!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW IVE WAITED FOR A VIDEO LIKE THIS! AND NOW I HAVE ONE FROM TOP GEAR THEMSELVES WOOOOHHOOOOOO!!!!
I want everything but the body kit on my own XJS V12 HE
Proper sleeper style 😍
I was just about to type could they do s “narrow body” with just the wheels and twin headlights. I remember back in the day Lister did a nearly standard bodied car and as well as the Le Mans and it was the standard body that appealed.
@@TheProco2020then the wheels wouldn’t fit under.
You could then put narrower wheels, but then all the power is even less usable.
@@piefliesthe ETCC touring cars had around 500bhp. With modern technology I’m sure the extra 100+ bhp could be managed and it’s the style of wheel I like, not looked at the width or height. I’m sure 19’s/20’s aren’t necessary and it’s more about image/styling
The touring car ran 15’s and 16’s with 8.5 inch width and put down 500bhp with 80’s tech. Very certain they could now do 600+
We’ll leave it that I don’t like the body kit and you do.
I hope 80+ other people with the money do also.
I’m ordering mine with the TWR 7.0 V12 in my dreams tonight
Bad timing? Good timing?
As Jaguar have just jumped off a cliff
Well that sound was amazing damn
Something tells me sales are gonna be lower than expected. 😂
I was at Mt Panorama in 1985 when Tom Walkinshaw Jaguar XJSs got first with John Goss and third with Tom driving. The noise was amazing. I love the green/white XJS, definitely up there in my top 3 race cars.
Wow that’s a very special car
IDC what anyone says, I've always loved these Jags specifically....but _this_ one, widened, looking like this....hell it could have a straight 6 in it, as long as it was a manual trans but looked like this... I'd kill to own it 👌🏼
🎉🎉🎉 That engine is crazy looking and the wide body kit looks like something crafted for pure speed and fun. I would love to see this in a hillclimb time attack race.
This thing looks amazing from a visual standpoint alone. So beautiful.
