I miss the days when Jaguars had that long, sleek, sexy body and stunning wood interiors-all at a relatively affordable price. Their latest woke commercial makes the Bud Light fiasco look like a Chuck Norris tribute.
I firmly believe that Jaguar's pathetic efforts will go down as a case study in how to wreck a good brand overnight. I'm also intrigued at the poor response from management at the condemning of what they are doing to the brand, and wonder 'what will it take before shareholders take charge of the lunatics behind the wheel'.
I don’t think I’ve ever been simultaneously embarrassed me and outraged. Throwing away the brands heritage with apparently no thought seems like a terminal mistake.
Not only Jaguar is in trouble. It is the whole car industry. Because of the government ordered electrification of all cars in the near future but without anticipation of the customers, no one will sell cars in such large numbers as before. The market will be destroyed and left in a much smaller volume. We are going to bicycles, e-scooters, some cheap EVs to rent (Bolt, Miles etc.) and a small segment of expansive cars. And every traditional car brand will try to be part of this small segment. So Jaguar will be in a tough fight with all the others like Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Maserati, Bentley, Tesla, Lucid and even Lamborghini and Rolls Royce. Seeing Mercedes struggling in this segment (and going to die right now) you can imagine, what will happen to Jaguar. With this new campaign some gay heirs may buy a few of these strange cars who are branded as LBGTQ+ proved vehicles but this would be a very small business and is in my opinion a very short move to something strange an weird. It's the much faster end of a ones great brand. In this mindset Jaguar will be ahead of the competition. Ahead in going to die.

Meanwhile the world’s best selling car two years running is a Tesla…where do you get your information pal?
@@dougm659 google is your friend
@@dougm659 he came up with that himself 🤡
@@dougm659 That was for ONE year, 2023, and it was because Hurtz bought 100k of them for their fleet. It's now selling them all at a loss of $392+ million. The Toyota Corolla is poised to take the #1 spot back this year. Where do you get your information?
How do you only have 163 subscribers? You honestly deserve more
So they went FULL FLAMING GAY.
Jaguar: "By 2025 we'll be going completely electric, and insanely expensive."
Jaguar, 2026: "We're going into bankruptcy."
…. catastrophic mistake !
Sadly, I’m old enough now that my lifelong love for the classic Jaguar is gone for good. I miss the days when Jaguars had that long, sleek, sexy body and stunning wood interiors-all at a relatively affordable price. Their latest woke commercial makes the Bud Light fiasco look like a Chuck Norris tribute.
The worse thing is Jag EV is they don't do as many miles as a tank of diesel :(
Just when I saw the rebrand, I thought Jeremy Clarkson will never say Jaaaag the same again.
“Jagooar”… Seriously?? 😮
STOP CALLING IT “JAGWAH" it’s JAGUAR…🤷🏻♂️
It's jaaaaaag. Well. It WAS jaaaaaag xD
Jaguar CEO much like a lot of other people in the video game business that hate gamers - their very customers.
They've switched the jumpin cat for PacMan head 😀
The Bud Light of the car industry.
Bud Light 😂
I firmly believe that Jaguar's pathetic efforts will go down as a case study in how to wreck a good brand overnight. I'm also intrigued at the poor response from management at the condemning of what they are doing to the brand, and wonder 'what will it take before shareholders take charge of the lunatics behind the wheel'.
It’s not jaguar it’s faguar
The same can be said about Stellantis and its' half-witted CEO, Carlos Tavares.
That oh so secret car looks just like a Chrysler 300.
Jagueer😂l saw that 300 too
It's Time to Change!!! Moving forward!!!! Aprendan!!!
Was considering, not anymore.
Why do jaguar use aliens in their ads?
After watching the advert a couple of times i honestly thought that Jaguar is gonna start selling Condoms
Once again a company targeting the new modern customer that simply doesn't exist.
Yet other countries are seamlessly making the switch. EV sales continue to rise month on month. Look at China the awful smog's and pollution gone. EV sales heading to 100% EV in a few months. Stop arguing like it is 2005. Game over.
@@mbak7801 EV sales are going down, all over the world. China has to grow in car sales overall and with the government ordered electrification, it will increase more but EVs are dead on arrival. Without Chinas order, it would’nt be any increase EV sales. Wait and see.
There are writers of Marketing Books REWRITING the chapter on "How to Incorrectly Rebrand" to include the car design, the commercial.
Not one brand has successfully made the transition to EV, fortunately.
The XJ Vanden Plas and the later supercharged model from the 2010s were absolutely stunning vehicles
Jaguar not jagwaar! 🤦♂️
That advert is insane!...
"Go Woke, Go Broke!"
R.I.P. dear Jaguar!...
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.
Seeing their ad again after a 3 week break makes me feel ill
Like a vampire stabbing himself in the heart while chewing garlic.
The electric transition has ended most major OEMs are now throttling back on those plans at least in the US
