Chest Stretches to Improve Posture | Seniors, beginners

  • This video Chest Stretches to Improve Posture will help loosen up tight pectoral muscles (your chest muscles) which can contribute to bad posture and poor shoulder mobility. All you need is a wall to do these stretches.
    There are the total of 4 stretches:
    ✅ One arm wall stretches (set of 3) - left and right
    ✅ Corner wall/doorway stretch
    If you have tight chest muscles, do these stretches everyday. Hold each move for a count of 10 to 20 secs. You can also add them to your upper body workout or the cooldown of any yes2next workout video.
    To improve your posture, pair this video with our posture video - bit.ly/2YxWXUZ. You could alternate the posture video and this video so you do one of them everyday.

    Lovely simple exercise to not only help open your chest muscles but also I found I was able to breathe deeper.

    These exercises are also especially helpful for men and women who have had breast cancer surgery.
    the musculature around the breast tightens up, and these are perfect exercises for relaxing stretching and soothing.

    A few years ago, I had a broken shoulder. When it was time for physical therapy the messages and stretching you demonstrated was spot on to some of the therapy. I still do them occasionally when I feel they have tightened up. Thanks.

    Liked and subscribed!!! As a young woman that has had a huge growth spurt from a C to a G in 3 years on top of gaining nearly 4 stone ... I have had severe pec pain and tight shoulders tones of knots in my upper n middle back for years and most that sore tightness pain went by the end of the video UR A LIFE SAVER THANK U SM!!

    Even though I don't suffer from tight chest muscles, this was a novel method for shoulder and upper back stretches. I don't have available corners in the room where I have my laptop, so I tried the corner stretch on a flat wall...not bad. Then I did the doorway version and it was aah GREAT! I"m glad I tried this one.

    Hi again , I'm not sure why but this pectoral stretch will need some practice . PTSD has me all closed up but I will persist because I know it will be healing for me with practice so thank you for another gift .

      At a minimum, you can do these stretches twice a week. But if you have very tight chest muscles, you can do them every day. The moves should be done to the point where you feel a stretch. If you feel pain, please stop.
