Dear Fleur, thank you for your wonderful podcasts. I’m an old woman living in rural Australia and I too suffer from burnout. It’s been so hard to find anything about what the journey is like and how to recover. Everyone said “Go to the gym” but none of us, me included understood how bad that can be when the burnout is bad. And like you, I’ve spent a lot of time in bed and then I need a lie down and maybe a nap. :) This is a really hard journey and it has cheered me no end to hear about your experience. I feel way less alone and less useless and less hopeless. I’m sure you never expected to help a 67 yo in Australia, but you have helped, a lot. You go girl, you are fabulous. All the best on the journey. Celia.

I never comment , but I'm going through something similar & ended up leaving my job to focus on feeling better. I'm just starting the journey, and though I wish you never had to experience this, I feel inspired and hopeful by hearing you share your experience. Thank you

I have felt these symptoms and I know that I suffer from depression and I am undergoing long-term treatment with medications. It is important to take them punctually and have a healthy lifestyle and just go ahead!

Fleur, i am proud for you. I am fighting acute PTSD after an accident. And a grief. So believe or not, I understand you. I cannot drive any more. I wish I could. I lost a job after the accident and had nightmares. I am fighting. I now work with numbers and R programming. I find you a good example how to fight. Please do not get scared with me. You are a leader to me now.

Sounds like your learning and growing from your experience. 🙂👍
Sounds like you need a playmate. 🎮📺
And maybe a small work project that requires an hour a day that you could do together. 🛠️🎨
