I've just discovered your channel. You are a breath of fresh air in the world of quilting videos! Down to earth. Let's get it done... but enjoy yourself, too. I appreciate your approach to quilting and teaching. And thank you for your service! ❤️
Wow my friend, you are back, missed you and your lovely wife. I always wanted to make a bargello but did not know how. Many thanks from Tina in Auckland New Zealand.
Hey Marine, I'm another Marine that also quilts. I found your Videos by mistake but something must had caught my eye! Bargello are my favorite quilts to make and I enjoy watching your style ! Semper Fi!
You are wicked awesome! 👈🏼 from Boston You explained so simply and it was the easiest I’ve ever seen this pattern taught. My son is a Marine, I guess you guys are all perfect.
I’ve been quilting for a while. And you just taught me something. It should have been obvious to me! Thanks for coming back Mark. There’s a comfort, in these troubled times, seeing a familiar face.
I can't tell you how much I have missed you! I suffer from depression and anxiety and have been afraid to quilt because I may make a mistake. I know its silly but thats just where I have been. I mean its not like I cant rip it out and re start! Thank you for reminding me that its OK. That its alright to start over or rip a seam or even make a mistake. Your so right its just fabric and thread. Thank You!
Terrie, sooo true! Even us advanced quilters make mistakes & have to RIP out seams. NO FEAR: dive in and sew! And remember, some mistakes CAN be creative accidents! And, "accidents" can lead you down a creative path you would not have taken otherwise. SEW ON, GIRL❣Lindsay, Sacramento, CA.
Thank you for making this look so easy. I have sewn for almost 65 years and have been afraid to try this quilt. So very glad to see you again it makes me feel as if I have hope! Happy Easter to you and your lovely wife. Please stay safe!
I have always thought a bargello quilt would be WAY too much for me. But my tube strip experience, your systematic way of explaining things, and your organizational system will definitely help me get through this. Thanks for posting this video to help keep us sane and busy during the quarantine.
Glad to see you back. Its a seam ripper. I forget too. Ive sewn since l was in 7th grade. Im now almost 68 yrs young. I made cloth dolls. So making a quilt is fairly new. Its going tobe beautiful.
I don't have a polite name for my seam ripper, but we (me &my mom) call our bobbins "Bob Evans". My mom was using talking to text and auto correct fixed her spoken bobbins. When I got the text I couldn't figure out what she was talking about. So, Bob Evans
I am excited 😆 about this. I have a jelly roll, I can’t remember what I was going to do with it because I started making masks. Now I cannot wait to try this. You are excellent, the way show how to do things! God bless you

Hi Mark. Happy Easter. I am not a quilter. Terrified of electric sewing machines, prefer hand stitching. I love your videos I have been following you for sometime, and I did miss you. I am a paper crafter, and you have sparked my imagination. I am going to try this with cardstock. Thank you for your inspiration. Great to see you back. Keep safe, much love. 😊💖
Good afternoon, thanks so much for the video. I must say that I was cracking up anticipating that you would say that you were going to save your crumb. Next time. I had a blast anyway. Happy Easter to you and the family.
It's so nice to see u back. U actually make me want to try to quilt. Still haven't gotten over cutting good fabric for clothes into quilt material he he he
It's easy after the first cut! And, remember, after you're finished cutting, those fabric strips (clothing) now become memorialized for years to come & will be used in a different way. How cool is that!!! Stitch on! Lindsay, Sacramento, California❣
Omg when I stumbled upon your channel, I thought you were being held captive in Venezuela due to the map! and you almost looked sad as though you were going to give a statement. Forced of course. It was just a fleeting moment of my madness from being locked in so long. Not just the pandemic but my husband's illness two years! only going to doctors appointments, drive thru Wendys and hotel to be near hospital. LOL Getting old is not for sissies! I am quilting he is building from scratch model airplanes of great perplexity. 1. Riper 2. Get a scubber diver's weight a square you wear on a belt or get a five lb hand weight to put on the ruler to hold it still while you cut if you need an unwanted tip. I wonder if rotary blades can be sharpened? Do you know? Enjoying your journey.
I'm a knitter & crocheter, but I've always wanted to try quilting. I'm still sitting on the fence, but I'm losing my balance! You're making me start to tip over to your side! Thing is, do I really need a fabric stash in addition to my yarn stash? Aaaaa...! Love what you're doing, man!
I am so glad you are back! I have missed your videos. You have helped me so much. I want to pass a video on to you that I found that helps me with stuff like piecing long strips. Watch the way she holds her fabric when she was doing long lengths. ruclips.net/video/5mATpe5HmRE/видео.html

I‘ll never be able to sew such nice quilts as you do because I haven't got the most important machine. A pistol.
Good afternoon, thanks so much for the video. I must say that I was cracking up anticipating that you would say that you were going to save your crumb. Next time. I had a blast anyway. Happy Easter to you and the family.
Love this. Had me lol...unstitch and the thing. Never thought ripping out seams as unstitched. Love it.
Essentially, we all have to "unstitch" once in a while. I Love this guy, Mark!
Happy Easter all! Can’t wait to see how this quilt turns out🧵
Just ordered my new iron from your amazon store! You & yours stay safe & healthy. I very much appreciate your tutorials! Thank you!!!

Pat Wolfe Go for it!
No you don't need much of a fabric stach. Jelly rolls make it easy.
Happy Easter Mark to you and your lovely wife. 🐰🐰🐰🐰🐥🐥🐥🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
where did you buy that large cutting mat? I need that
I think that it bends because the stitching makes it a little smaller and then it keeps getting a little smaller and so on. Which makes it curve.
send some stitches down range!!!... let's pull the trigger!!!LOL!!!! your funny! i am subscribing!
Oh I jumped the gun here I found the other one. Thank for your help
With all the strips being different lengths, how did you determine the center lines?
Don't feel bad I ain't with quilting on sometimes I can't even remember what it is LOL you're all right
How often do you buy rotary Blades?
I love to watch manly men sew! Awesome video!
A seam ripper is your best friend! It is called unpicking or ripping out a seam.
Like your shirt
Спасибо за прекрасный урок! Ждём продолжения!
Would normaly not enjoy picking stiches but this pattern I would make an exception.✂
