No way. I just finished 4 weeks renting thru this scam. Heres highlights... 1) $1600 all fees 2) 28 hours lost time charging. At my $35 avg hourly revenue, thats another $980 lost. 3) $700 lost for rides i couldn't accept due to ride miles in excess of battery miles. 4) $800 lost due to no XL...based on my gas car lowest monthly XL revenue. 5) I had to double my driving hours to make 50% of what i made with my ICE car. That's $4080 OF EXPENSE AND REAL LOST REVENUE in 4 FUKING WEEKS. Who gained in this...UBER and HERTZ. Try to tell me Im doing something wrong and you're more than an idiot could ever be. I've been a 5.0 for 11k rides, love driving my ICE and make better money than most Silicon Valley drivers. My tips have never been lower than 22% cum over 3 years and avg yearly cum per active hour never below $35 any week. So im extremely qualified to blast this rental scam for what its about...trick drivers to EVs. Notice the new bait and switch...$1 per EV ride will be changed to monthly payout ONLY if you do 200 rides. The good news is you'll get $210 for those but dont end up with 199 rides cuz you'll get ZERO of the $210. LAST tidbit...those $1 trinkets rides only apply if you move a person...not counted if you Uber Express or Connect. Have fun all you renters!
big dog....don't forget to hustle outside uber with the same whip, offerup, yard sale, step it up big dog, I'm in la where it's possible and yard sales every other corner....uber alone ain't enough in 2024, this video is about 2 years old, different state of uber
Im in Orlando. I promise you that you wont make 2k per week with any car here. I see guys waiting at the airport showing me their earning. One guyput u 70 hours and made about 1000
You also have to take account they we’re probably not taking the best trips that make sense the goal is no less then $1/mile if your driving 8miles for $5 not worth it it’s not about cost of electric rather how many trips you can do per hour
Your a slave to the road that's said and that's financial freedom the Uber delusion glad I woke up but I never had a rental maybe that's the best for people who can't afford cars that's crazy
Some people have cars but they choose to not put the miles on them plus we don’t have to pay for parts and all that when something goes wrong with the car
@Ride The Wind I couldn’t agree more! I now have a 2022 Model Y and think I like the Model 3 more. But the space is great and the amount is fair for the Chicago market. Lol
You better do some accounting and also look at rides you're not able to accept. I guarantee your first FULL 2 days EVERY week is to pay that rental. Add it up and you'll find you pay off that Tesla for HERTZ in about 16 months. You should buy your own rather than buying one fir Hertz.

Ok “$2000 a week” but you pay $500 a week for the Tesla rental, it’s actually $1500 and you work 60 hours 1500/60= you make about $25 an hour. All of a sudden your “$2000 a week” doesn’t sound so good yeah?

How often do you need to charge the car? Do you still have the Tesla rental?
yes I do please subscribe
Can you have an open contract or you have the pay the upfront cost of how long you will rent it?
you pay weekly not full contract
I made 5300 in 1 month and spent like 800 on gas / food
here's my advice, don't eat at all while ubering waste of money and time of looking places to shit

Making 2000dlls a week and paying 2000dlls monthly for that tesla lol
That still leaves you at 6,000 a month tho. Doesn’t sound bad to me. Plus if it’s 400 a week for the Tesla that’s $1600 so not quite $2000.

If you buy a tesla for uber in one year you are going to run out the tesla warranty xD
