I just picked up a 2012 E63, started reading the owner’s manual, went to play the owners manual DVD’s which wouldn’t play due to being scratched and stumbled across your RUclips tutorials. I got into a bit of a pickle by trigging the alarm. I used the fob to stop the annoying beep but couldn't start the car the normal way. Because of your video, I was able to remove the start switch and insert the fob then Walla! CHEERS!! 👍

LOVE THIS GUY! 😊 Surprisingly, the Mercedes Benz remote control garage door opener goes back to at least 2007 C230 Sport. 🥰 That was 1 of the 1st things I learned how to do when I got her. WOULD LOVE TO LEARN TRICKS, FACTS , ETC ON 3RD GEN. / 2007 C230
For the mirror parking position, you don’t have to press M. You just have you put it in Reverse gear and adjust. And it will remember. When you put to D, it will adjust back. And this feature can be temporarily disabled if you press left side mirror button when you don’t want the mirror to change when parking. So the light on the left means disable and right means enable.
There are multiple ways on how to do it, as I already described in some of the answers. However I prefer the way I've shown, simply because you don't have to engage any gear while doing the adjustments. So it's more safe because you're not going to move your car by accident, while taking time to find the best possible adjustment.
First I would like to say that this Guy is AWESOME!! I've learned so much from him by watching his videos. Mercedes's should pay him! ANY my wife had a Dead battery in her new car a local tow service came out to jump her off The Tech connected the cables and attempted to start the vehicle but it still would not start, after about and hour and a half after the tech accidentally found a trick that Mercedes apparently doesn't want you to know. He pulled the Park Brake released and pushed the start button at the same time Whalla! it started!!! I say that Mercedes does't want to share this with us is because I have searched the web and the manuals and have not seen this anywhere!! I wanted to share this with the MBZ Master. Thanks Guy!!

Hello I'm brand new to your channel but I am not sure if many of these features will actually work on my brand new 2022 W-223 Maybach S 680 V12 S Class because I do not have the rotary dial for my infotainment system, however the windshield wiper trick and maybe the QR code on the fuel door will probably work. Also do you have any tip's and tricks for the new W-223 Maybach S class by any chance if so thanks in advance?

@@jodauth3319 Check engine light can be many different problems. But sometimes it can be due to such a simple thing as a loose fuel cap. But you need to perform diagnostics to pinpoint the problem correctly.

I do hope they don't stray too far from what MB has always been and not end up looking like a Camry. I wouldn't mind if they went back to the more square body style.

Brake HOLD can not be reset. Once you stop the car, press the brake pedal harder than normal until you see HOLD on your display. If not working, you need to bring it to a shop for diagnostics.
My Mercedes is a 2012 E550 so I am not sure how many of these features apply to my car but I am going to try your suggestions out and see. I was not aware of any of your suggestions in this video. Thanks for the inormation.

I know it is a bit hard to diagnose an issue via text but I will ask anyway. Do you have any easy fix or idea what might cause this? Of course this happened shortly after the extended warranty I purchased for $3800.00 expired.
Most likely the sensors are dirty or damaged. Need to have a diagnostics. Sensors are inside the rear bumper and may corrode, especially on almost 10 year old vehicle.

"CPA+" can stop the car by itself, if it sees that you about to hit the car in front of you, even if you don't touch the brake pedal. So there may be a few different problems like obstructed, damaged, or dirty front bumper radar sensors. Inspect/clean the front bumper and check inside for dirt/debris. Replace if damaged. Also can be the low batteries. Charge/replace if necessary both batteries. Can be electrical wiring, or sometimes the car needs a software update, which fixes a lot of bugs. If nothing helps, do simple diagnostics at any MB dealership service department. Let me know if it helped.

Mr. MBZ Master, You've taught me more about my Mercedes than the Sales Consultant who made the commission! tried to get him to send you half but they told me he went to the Bahamas the day after he sold me the car and hasn't been back since! :) Quick question before I take it back to the MB dealer, the car is displaying "Blind Spot Assist Inoperative" I cleaned the bumpers, Checked the fuses and they are fine. Do I need to take it in or can I locate the Blind spot sensor and replace it myself. It says to see a professional in the manual. It's a 2017 GLC 300 4matic...Thanks
Trust the manual - take your car for a diagnostics, it may still be under the warranty. Also, call Bahamas and ask your guy to take care of the bill. :))

Should be on the right side, usually in yellow color. But you don't need to check it because it has an electronic self measurement. So, if the oil goes low, the car will send you a message in the Instrument Cluster. Something like "Please add a quart of oil."
I didn't know how to call a number within a text. I also didn't know about the "Rescue Assist" card. Finally, I didn't know about the "Auto Lock Override" feature.

There is a button with an arrow pointing up to raise your car. But don't use it while driving, only if you get stuck or need to go over a big bump temporarily.
I didn't know about the reverse mirror, but I will be programming that right away. Do people know about the AUXILIARY BATTERY MALFUNCTION? I had to change mine out and it was confusing.

2018 GLC required Smartphone integration installed - Code 868. If you don't have this code in your car - then you don't have smartphone integration. I don't think you can add it, but you can call your local MB Dealership service department and ask them if it's possible now.

Any MB is good, as long it's been taken care of by the previous owner. Solid V6 and good transmission. Good mechanics, excellent in safety, but a little outdated electronics. I don't remember any issues with that model year. But make sure to perform a comprehensive inspection before buying, body, frame, powertrain condition, etc. So you don't have surprises. You can even order the 3rd party inspection. Wagons were built in limited production, so you don't find many of them.

Rescue assist can also be found on the driver side b pillar where the vin or tire information go in some models
I don't think firefighters will scan that code, get the information and start cutting body panels. They will cut right away.

Keyless entry is not a safety feature but a convenience. However, you can still lock/unlock using your remote, which is contactless by itself.

very helpful, do you have any info. on adblue problems? Can't get the warning light off, am told it is an ad blue problem.
What kind of light?

I have a question about my break hold option on my c250 stopped working how can I reset it?

Mr. MBZ Master, You've taught me more about my Mercedes than the Sales Consultant who made the commission! tried to get him to send you half but they told me he went to the Bahamas the day after he sold me the car and hasn't been back since! :) Quick question before I take it back to the MB dealer, the car is displaying "Blind Spot Assist Inoperative" I cleaned the bumpers, Checked the fuses and they are fine. Do I need to take it in or can I locate the Blind spot sensor and replace it myself. It says to see a professional in the manual. It's a 2017 GLC 300 4matic...Thanks
Trust the manual - take your car for a diagnostics, it may still be under the warranty. Also, call Bahamas and ask your guy to take care of the bill. :))

Should be on the right side, usually in yellow color. But you don't need to check it because it has an electronic self measurement. So, if the oil goes low, the car will send you a message in the Instrument Cluster. Something like "Please add a quart of oil."

There is a button with an arrow pointing up to raise your car. But don't use it while driving, only if you get stuck or need to go over a big bump temporarily.

I didn't know about the reverse mirror, but I will be programming that right away. Do people know about the AUXILIARY BATTERY MALFUNCTION? I had to change mine out and it was confusing.

2018 GLC required Smartphone integration installed - Code 868. If you don't have this code in your car - then you don't have smartphone integration. I don't think you can add it, but you can call your local MB Dealership service department and ask them if it's possible now.

Any MB is good, as long it's been taken care of by the previous owner. Solid V6 and good transmission. Good mechanics, excellent in safety, but a little outdated electronics. I don't remember any issues with that model year. But make sure to perform a comprehensive inspection before buying, body, frame, powertrain condition, etc. So you don't have surprises. You can even order the 3rd party inspection. Wagons were built in limited production, so you don't find many of them.

By the way, I knew of a couple of the hidden features but did not know you could adjust them to your liking. Like the righthand side rearview mirror when parking :)
