Hi Sandy: I have made this recipe with the regular dry egg noodles and tonight made it with the frozen noodles for the first time. My husband and I both prefer the regular egg noodles as opposed to the frozen noodles. The regular egg noodles are much easier (thiner) to eat. Just thought I'd throw that out there. ;)

The recipe says to do the noodles before adding the chicken back in but you put the chicken back in with the noodles in this video which is correct?

I’m adding frozen peas & carrots after. That looks great.

This looks delicious! I haven't purchased an Instant Pot yet, but I'm watching RUclips videos to see if there is enough different uses to make it worth my while. I'm becoming more convinced that I want one. Thanks for sharing and Happy Easter.

I think I will try this with 1/2 butter, 1/2 coconut milk, and I have to add garlic and a bay leave, and celery 1 stalk , not chopped to Family doesn’t see it, but it and nutrient still. Great job on showing buttons.

I make this often but make it into a soup. I saute 4 diced carrots, and 1/2 sweet onion in the butter first and when soft, follow this recipe omitting the cans of cream of chicken soup, and add 1-2 large cartons of chicken broth. LOVE our soup in the winter, but looking forward to making this recipe for a change!! Thanks so much!! I can only find the large Reames noodles at Walmart!! Our Publix only carries the smaller bag.

I just tried your recipe and made the best chicken and noodles I've ever tasted. However, to be fair, I did switch a couple of things. Instead of the cream of chicken soup, I used one can of cream of mushroom and one can of cream of celery. I also added a teaspoon of minced garlic. (Didn't want the vampires stealing all my soup, lol.) But even with the changes, it was fantastic. Thanks for the idea. I'm going to try this for the next church pot luck. I'm betting I won't bring any home.

And by the way, I used a Power Pressure Cooker 6qt. All times were exactly the same. Who says you can't use the same recipes in different cookers.

that broth looks really rich....and you can always add a bit less on the butter if someone wants to cut calories...and that looks thick, rich and delicious!

Looks good. I’ve never seen frozen noodles. My mom used to make her own noodles and also had onion and celery in the mix. I rarely make it because I’m too lazy to make homemade noodles. Like the new option.

Looks delicious. Initially, I thought one hour sounded a fairly long time to cook this dish in the Instant Pot....but, it'd be much quicker than my usual method of using my slow cooker. I'll have to buy one because your recipe looks delicious! x

This is the first recipe I made in my IP. It came out perfectly! For my family we thought it was a bit to salty. But the flavor was spot on. Rich, creamy and perfect consistency. I will definitely check out your other recipes. Thanks 🙂

Definitely want to make this at some point, but is there any alternatives to the butter? Would olive oil work?

It worked beautifully!!!! I took the chicken out, added about a cup more broth & threw in the dry noodles for 9 mins....did a quick release, added the shredded chicken as well as frozen peas & carrots (already microwaved) & some corn.....best quick dinner ever

Sandy, The recipe is amazing, as the noodles tasted great, but I had a hiccup. My noodles ended up sticking to bottom as I cooked . In the recipe it says 4 cups of broth, but video says 3? Do you usually use 4 ? Also, how did you make homemade broth ? The only other thing I can think of, is I used salted butter instead of unsalted . Would that make the noodle stick, and cause instant pot to say boil ? Thanks Brandon

I'm not a big fan of egg noodles. I'm wondering if I could substitute rice instead? It looks really delicious.

Yes, you sure can. Cook them for half the time the package directions say. You might have to add 1/2 cup of extra broth.
