Absolutely.. been looking to get XT-30 II but now that it become so popular and can't find 1 in the market, hopefully this XT-50 will hit the spot (features, value and price)
I haven't bought the X-T30 but it is my fav looking camera and ive been waiting 2 years for an upgraded one to come out so im gonna buy the X-T50 because I know its gonna be good and it looks cool
I've been on a long camera journey. My first 'camera of choice' back in the day was Olympus OM1. I later had OM2 and OM4Ti. I had by then become a semi-professional photographer who loved a light and compact form factor, but I liked the versatility of interchangeable lenses. I was devastated when Olympus crapped on their loyal customers, failed to produce professional autofocus lenses and then failed to produce an OM system digital body. I rebuilt again, on a Pentax system. But I had to switch to a mirrorless system, so I chose Sony. I tried so hard to love the Sony system, really. But somehow it never happened. I have now moved to Fuji. Oh why didnt I do this earlier? I love the Fuji system.
Thank you for the video, greetings from Scotland. I have the X-T30, and the XF 27 WR which I use for hiking, it’s a great combination. The small Fujis excite me the most 👍

Why do you assume the X-T50 will have IBIS? The default assumption should be that it does not have IBIS. PS: I do agree that 26MP/IBIS is better than 40MP/no IBIS.
The new kit lens that fujifilm will anounce and that should be available as bundle with the new x-t50 have no IS, so they will probabily bring ibis to all new fujifilm bodys and x-t50 will not be an exception. They now have a small version of the ibis system (the one used in the x100vi) that they should use for this small camera.

I think that they can realese a x-s20 in a x-t30 body, wich is fine. In the good side, it will be better in video with less rolling shutter and could serve as B cam for my future X-h2s. X-s20 is a nice camera in terms of specs for street photos, but I don't like flip screens.
Yeah it's clearly not for you. I don't want to buy an X-T5. It's too expensive for me. But I would like IBIS. So if they make this camera, I will give them my money.
It will be just like the XT20 and XT30 - small versions of the bigger brother...nothing new! It will be my carry around everday smaller version of my XT5 when it arrives. Makes sense
Since Fujifilm have made the X100vi, with the 40mp sensor and IBIS and managed to fit it into a body only marginally larger than the X100v, I expect the same for the X-T50, ie a camera just a millimetre or two larger than the previous model with the latest sensor and IBIS but the old battery. In fact I suspect it will share the guts of the X100vi. It may not make sense from a photographer's point of view, but from a manufacturer's it may well do, as parts will be uniform across models and therefore cheaper to source. To me this release could well be quite important. I have been using both the X-T1 and X-T10/20 cameras now for some time. Although I do really like the X-T1, especially for manual focus lenses, I usually grab my X-T10 or 20 over the X-T1 as they are smaller and more discrete. If I had unlimited funds and had an X-T5, which is only marginally larger then the X-T1, I would still want a smaller camera with the same image output, and I would still use it more than the "pro" level camera, for the same reasons I prefer the X-T10 or 20 cameras I own. Regarding lenses, I understand the existing XF 16 f2.8, 23 f2, 35 f2 and 50mm f2 all resolve the latest sensor and are really quite light and compact, so if I am right, the lens issue is already sorted. Hoping for an X-s20 but more orientated for the fotographer : swap the high lcd resolution with the average evf resolution on the x-s20, Ibis, 26mp and the 5th gen prosessor+offcoars the 3way lcd screen like the x-t5, the cost of the 40mp makes no sense for this price range unless the wanna use that as an selling point (cheapest 40mp camera on the market) but then the will combine that with what?? an evf from 12years ago , an lcd screen with 400k dots and runs on 1 aaa duracell battery lol , or the price will be higher than whe think
I can see why Fujifilm will release an XT50 next. XT5 is too expensive for some, X-S20 lacks the retro feeling and the X100VI, well... Honestly, they probably will just repackage the X-S20 😅
I was thinking of buying the X-S20, but if they put IBIS on X-T50, I might get it. They will not use the 40MP, they will use the 26MP (for profit reasons).
@@alexandru-vladmoise8952 no, they will most likely not use the 40MP sensor. It must be positioned clearly below the XT5. I would say, it is the XS20 with retro controls. Maybe some minor changes in terms of screen/viewfinder resolution...

Tudor, can I repeat my request? Can you please do an episode on how you process these fantastic B&W images? Very classy and contrasty Leica like. But HOW? Silver efex PRO does the trick? Do we have to learn the Zone system? HOW??? Please...!
Ah, I see you mentioned Silver efex pro in another reply, thanks. I adore how your B&W's look!
Found the free Google NIK version, it's great and seems to do what I want, thanks!
I'm going to call it the X-T30 mk. III
The new X-T50 will have the 40mp sensor and everything the X-T5 has. They’re updating everything to the fifth generation.
Small body and one Year old technology.... That's what you get !!!
