pre ordered and sold my xt30mk1. It will be my edc and back up to my xt5 for wildlife and concerts. Arthritis in my hands, so ibis and size are perfect for me.
i'm getting it, but i'm still preparing myself for the cost (have one reserved at the shop but i didn't get it yet) and i haven't decided if i will go for the new 16-50 lens or keep my existing 18-55. yes, the snobby serious photographers all say that it's better to go for the x-t5 but i don't want to buy something as big and heavy as a dslr-those things get heavier the more you walk while traveling and they eventually become a pain to carry around. there's more to lighter cameras than simply being targeted for beginners, especially since the x-txx bodies are actually smaller and lighter than the popular x100 line. i'm probably the only person who actually likes the film simulation dials as well since they're what i love most in fuji cameras and i never used the drive dial on my xt20. my x100v gave a lot of room for button/short cut customization but i fucking forget everything i set up so i end up not using them at all. the joystick button is also very similar to the x100v so it's quite easy to get used to it. there was no iso dial on my xt20 but i just hope they put the iso dial somewhere on the shutter button too like they did on the x100v. i have a couple of extra batteries (that i previously got for free from my old camera purchases) already so at least they're not going to waste instead of having to buy extras of the new bigger batteries so i actually like that they kept the old ones
What do you think about the FUJIFILM X-T50? Will you get it?

Awesome, we hope that you enjoy it!
Compared for example the Nikon Z5 price is the same but XT50 much better value for your money 😊!
