Or don't worry about the autofocus and just use this with only the voigtlander 27mm or 18mm manual focus lens...toss it in a pocket like a GRiii...good to go!
@@kilianhrkm I zone focus and don't look at it now. No issues so far on my Pentax 17 or my Nikon FE or my XPro3 doing the same. Gotta just spend time learning distances.
If you want something compact I think a better option for photography is the Olympus EP-7. Almost as small. 1. Tilty screen. 2. Built in Flash. 3. More reliable auto focus. 4. Has the same color profiles that came with the popular Pen F. 5. Not made in communist China! 6. IBIS

Mulzumesc buddy, stellar content, from your accent I pick up a little of Romanian accent of some of my friends, am I right? Have a great day and rock on :)))
Anyway, i've been thinking those last two days about this camera, and compared to my ex olympus EP-7 I must say: it's smaller than the EP7...and with xf27mm must be a fantastic option. A kind of new X70, as Fuji said, with 26Mp sensor instead the 16Mp of the X70 (X70 had a fantastic build quality anyway), so, as a little camera to put in a pocket with tiny lens, can be a fantastic second camera. And there's some places cheaper than others where you can save 100€, and at 700€ price point , if you have fuji lens, not a bad idea at all. I repeat, if you have fuji lens. The 15-45 kit lens is not bad at all, I must say , but always thinking about this camera as something to carry in a tiny slingbag or in a coat's pocket. As your only camera maybe not.
I really hope it would be the x pro4, and it to continue with the hibrid vf and erf. I have a question for those, including you tudor, who have already used fuji cameras with ibis, wich I think it will have, although I dont necessarly agree with it. How does it feel with the camera off? I'm a little resilient in walking around with a camera that seems to have something broken inside, like the canon r5. I appreciate that my xpro2 and xt 30 ii feel rock solid when I move them
@@Tudor_Mateescu thanks, i like to grab the camera in my hand and dont worry about moving parts, I may talk to a fuji representant in my country to test out before buying once x pro 4 arrives
Three major problems with the XM5, The location of the microphone jack which might seem like a good idea is going to prove to be a pain in the when you have a cable in the way if the flippy screen in real use, which crazy Fuji engineer decided it would be good idea to place the tripod thread right next to the battery/card door, meaning you need to remove the tripod plate every tine you what to change the battery or take out the card, that person needs to be fired immediately. which bring me to the last point, Fuji's insistence on using that old crappy battery, why they don't just use their latest battery is just plain dumb, nobody what's to have have two battery and charger types. I don't buy this they need to keep in small crap, I really would like buy this body for quick video clip's, and has small B cam but these dumb design decisions are deal breakers.
I own the X-T5 and autofocus is top! But as a photographer in the street or landscape I don’t need it even if I do portraits I use manual focus for example with the Voigtländer 27mm f2 a great lens! ❤❤❤ Learn to use manual focus - trust me in most cases it’s possible!
A great camera for a general user, but i don't find it very appealing for a dedicated photographer. For me the new lenses were a bigger part of the show

Yess
Do you see yourself using those lenses without a viewfinder? Unless you put one on top. Unhandy to focus without holding the camera up to your eye.

Why not the OM-5? Now terrific value used. It runs rings around the Fujis. It has everything apart from the 10bit video.
@@Kunal0915 I was just picking something similar that doesn’t have a viewfinder.
And how could I forget the EP-7 has IBIS.
Date the camera, marry the lenses. You can just start your collection of lenses and then upgrade the body to an X-T5, X-T50 or in the future XPro4

Yes, you are right 👍😁
you think its a good pockatable alternative to ricoh gr3 as an EDC?
Yes, Especially with Voigtlander 18mm f2.8 :D What a combo :D
Tudor, no EVF, no tilt screen, no for me. It's super cute though! Great starter kit for newbies.

How is the AF in comparison to X-T50? Is it better because of new hardware and firmware?
Supposedly they changed the algorithm but we'll see when the reviewers have had it for a bit longer
i believe so
In meduin format f3.5 equals to 2.4 in 35mm FF.
When do you get test the Fuji Camera? X-M5?
Tudor, that was a question why do you only leave a like?:)
Will there be an XE5
It's possible in 2025
@Tudor_Mateescu that's something to look forward to 🔥

I believe this is answer to Lumix S9 and ZVE10 mk2.
In that case, I love the design identity
I love small size cameras. Fuji is doing great, but they need to fix the autofocus.
