    Some of the best machines you have to work hard to get. Then rebuild them to get a great running piece of equipment for years!

    Pretty ingenious idea on the truck axle for trailing it. Using the ole noodle, that was.

    What do you know about an excavator left sitting on the Churchill River, it would be on river right so not on the highway side.

    • @Labrador_Iron
      @Labrador_Iron  3 года назад +15

      @@Angelvalleygmail.comGmelcol3lb thats your opinion, cost me $800 in parts to get the machine back fully functional. For me to rent an excavator is almost that per day day! And I've already gotten a full summer out of it so it's already well paid for itself. It could die tomorrow and I'd be money and time in.

    Sure hope you don’t have to drive on any highways, but if you lose it, no big deal.

    This is the type of stuff that gets you crippled. Working raggedy worn out equipment. No children allowed anywhere near when this is going down.Never send a man where a strap or chain can go. I was this foolish when I was young and limp from getting bit. None of the stuff that tries to kill you ever says I'm sorry. It wears your blood as a badge of honor.
    Just maybe consider fixing the brakes on the Dodge truck. ? Climbing up and down off of that Deere while it is running is just tempting the fates. Hydraulics on unknown equipment are suspect.
    Hope you have a monster trans cooler on the little truck. You are hauling close to 10 tons. Good video and glad it wasn't me. Stay safe, exercise caution. Stay safe.

      I have to agree with everything you’ve said! As I’m getting older I do do things a lot slower and safer but the Adrenalin junky in me surfaces from time to time. That’s why I fly planes, ride dirt bikes , snowmobiles , 3 wheelers etc etc. All take Quick thinking and fast Action to survive and once in a blue moon my work ends up that way, I don’t recommend anyone do work that way and I try to avoid it now but sometimes it happens. As for no breaks on the truck, if it were mine it would have them for sure that’s one thing I don’t do without! I wasn’t supposed to be riding the crawler that just happened as things panned out. If i could go back in time I would do this job very different. Thanks for the comment

      Good thing I didn't leave them there then. All gets picked up , cleaned , oiled if needed and put away. Not all work in the world gets done in a nice clean shop, work gota get done out in the dirt sometimes.
