    Hey your video really helped me alot as i'm in East Texas and I had to budget cost for my new property. There's not a lot of information online which would break down costs.
    Here is my experience in 2024
    - I had electricity already available in a neighboring property. I decided to run 2 poles which the 2nd one had the transformer on it. Famers electric charged me just under $5000 for this but also game me a $3000 allowance to use. So total came to roughly $2100.
    Then after this i just had to pay an electrician to come and hook up my electrical panel to a temporary pole. Hope this helps others.

    In 1973 my parents ran a line 2200 feet to the house pad. It was $2,200 back then. And that included insulated wire. Last year PGE replaced all 7 poles. The job foreman told me just the new house pole and transformer was $42,500 and to build the line today would be about $350,000 !!!!

      In CZ 1km cost about about 40 000$ minimum. Either buried or on poles.
      This is outside inhabited area +100m.

      @@CarrascoRanchI have a question. Please answer me on the comments section. But also make a video. In what order should I put in the services? Mobile Home, septic, electric and water well? This order?

    Hi I’m thinking of doing the same thing..how far were the sites of the grid ones to the electrical pole? And how did you get electricity powered to the domes without wires hanging above?

    Great video Robert with some good info. I only saw three (3) poles in the video, was the distance between your poles only 325 ft? Were there more poles?

    • @CarrascoRanch
      @CarrascoRanch  2 года назад

      Yes, the distance was I believe 310- 320 or so. It was only those three.

    Is this south Texas Eagle Ford? Or would this be comparable at all for west Texas Permian?

    • @CarrascoRanch
      @CarrascoRanch  6 месяцев назад +1

      It's probably different as far as price for the setup since each electricity provider will charge differently. Personal cost after the service cost would roughly be about the same.

    The electric company for my lot is not going to charge me anything as long as I run the conduit underground to their pole.

      @@CarrascoRanch I thought so too! They said, run 2 inch conduit that's 24 inches deep, to their pole and they will run the wire for free!
