Great reinforcement droop, the infantry archetype really needed more cards to be viable. I don't really agree with the flank problem, this is the type of trait that most factions should have access to, the problem is when the cards give flank without meeting any requirement, of all the flank cards revealed the only one that represent a real problem is the 6 cost krootox. Vespid and Longstrike should be remain as the only reliable flank units in this faction. Excited for this raid, finally one that I enjoy playing ✌️
i actually cant wait for this. tau has been nerfed to the ground so this meta shift when these cards come out its going to be a ton of fun to play and pull the combos off i reckon
I think it's important that people (like BJ does) brings attention to 'boring' cards that feel like reprints e.g 'rally: deal x damage'. EG seem extremely receptive to feedback and they need to know cards like that just stagnate the game, rather than iterate and innovate.
I agree the cards are hardly unique and interesting, they should have double down on "Aristocrats" theme and give us more death triggers for Kroot, a stratagem that could damage any unit and give something extra like wide troops buff if it damaged and killed an ally unit would have been more interesting than "lol everyone has flank now, have fun".
I think this is their answer to the criticism of big units that drop and do nothing other than having big stats, by giving them flank or damage rally abilities they are trying to have them come with a direct value And it makes sense, those are the easier ways to immediately affect the board, your unit straight out damages or kills something, or it doesn't has summoning sickness They did try to have big units come in with Invulnerability like with St Katherine, but the reception was poor, and support buffs like healing are given little appreciation (even if i like that archetype), swarm archetypes sound like the neutral way to do things, but that's a bandaid solution, eventually people will complain about every faction being a swarm faction and lacking identity So i think it giving them feedback on how to mitigate this problem will help them a lot, i agree that getting overflanked is not the right solution, and also think that big expensive cards should give you a lil bit extra for their cost apart from just big stats
Good points. My thought is that there are plenty of ways a card could 'have an immediate impact' outside of just two mechanics. We also need to see more combo ideas where putting the pieces together leads to a powerful effect.
Rampager exists to kill predator Even with armor from the spell or techmarine it will one shot and stick around after I don't think it's a balanced design but i see why it's there

Majorly overtuned troop cards. Krootox rider, Flesh shaper, Krootox Rampager, Lonespear are way too high value. Rider is S-tier the other three are all well past S-tier

Steady flow of content is so vital to a CCG. Love to see it
In this episode of the Warhammering...
Flank speed!

They didn't need to put a blanket Camouflage on Flesh Shaper. Plus, the Rampager with options to bounce back as a 1 drop is broken. Lol
Ds8 turret with Hunter's Instinct will be a menace

Time to dust off those crisis battlesuits and rush down a 30 health warlord full of ground melee flank I guess.

Space marines can do 25dmg to the warlord in the first 3 turn XD
15:54 this is broken good
'The hemlock is overpowered and needs nerfing', cue the rampager and a ultra hemlock lone spear. Disappointing as it's rush to buy, then nerfs.
I feel like eg needs to stop giving permanent buffs to warlords
WHY TAU BECOME A WHITE SCARS?
Omg when will the kroots be out? This is great news for the recently nerfed Tau, and hopefully they’ll balance the marine hell too
