I’ve been living in Iztapalapa since 2017, and I have to say that the change has been unbelievable. When I got here, I did it because it was the only thing I could afford, but now I can say I’m proud to live here. The change in the collective mindset of the population continues to amaze me. There is still a lot to improve, but this is real proof of why the current Mexican government and the Morena Party have the support of 50% (or even more) of the country’s people.
This is amazing this neighbourhood is 10 time better then anything in INDIA. These people should hold their HEAD up high, this very beautiful and clean and organized neighborhood.

Clara Brugada Dios la bendiga por poner su vista en Iztapalapa " acordarse de los Mas pobres y marginados de toda la ciudad de Mexico. Ya vio y creyo que hay talento de todo y para todos.
Y por qué hasta ahora? La Sra Brugada es 3ra vez en el cargo, en la ciudad de México gobiernan desde el 2000. El "ya se la saben" previo al asalto, se ha incrementado.
Es una de las pocas personas que volteo a ver a nuestra gente y sus necesidades y obvio tiene mucho voto de los colonos de Ixtapalapa para que sea regente de la Cd de Mexico.
En Quetzalcoatl tenia mas de 30 años sin agua, siempre con pipas de agua y no limpia eh? Y desde El presidente Obrador y Clarita Brugada ya no nos falta tanto el agua.gracias a Dios y eso si aprendimos a ahorrar agua y cuidarla tambien.
Desde 2018 muchas cosas han cambiado para bien en la alcaldía, empezando con las calles iluminadas, transporte ya había pero con la llegada del Cablebús y Trolebús Elevado de alguna manera ha mejorado la calidad de vida, es verdad, el transporte en hora pico es terrible, pero yo deje de usar la combi de ruta 14 y usar el trolebús que se me hace más rápido, acorta bastante tiempo.

Iztapalapa tiene metro, línea de Cable bus y ahora trolebús elevado, nuevos centros comerciales, utopías, senderos luminosos, es totalmente urbana y cada vez mejor, otros lugares ya son lo que era Iztapalapa
No se enojen, es la verdad. Cd juarez y el estado de chihuahua es de los estados más ricos y prósperos de México al igual que todo el norte apesar que somos un desierto sin nada. La violencia llegó aquí cuando el cartel de sinaloa vino a pelear la plaza en 2006. Antes de eso éramos las Vegas de mexico,hasta al capone y monroe se venían a divertir aquí. Sin mencionar que el norte de México es la parte donde más blancos y más descendientes de europeos hay.

@@Orang315 In that part of Mexico City, people are genetically more Indigenous than Spanish, especially the working/lower classes. So that's why they look like Native Americans really. I do too, and my DNA test says I'm 48% Indigenous so it makes sense
