One place our Grain Flow Forging should shine most of all is the wedges. Just needed to get the shapes, profiles and bounce options The T22 and S23 are the best we've had. Thanks for showing them off James.
I enjoy the wedge videos. That part of my game is where I know I can save the most shots at the moment. There's nothing worse than needing to chip on and it goes flying over the green because of course it did instead of the bump-n-run or the dreaded greenside bunker to greenside bunker shot.
Love this video! I play T22 and have hit these recently and think they are as good as your claims. I saw you have modus shafts in the wedges. Do you play the same shaft in them as your irons?
Question! Have you played any other brand wedges?? I have a unopened Taylormade Hi Toe wedge but I'm really thinking about trading it in for a T22 or this S23...
i have the s20 in 51 56 61 (gapping) and have been faultless. I can't spin them as much as my vokeys ... however this is proving to be a great thing. Instead of just screwing everything a mile backwards with these you can control it, stopping the ball is no problem, if you want to screw if back 1 or 2 mtrs that is easy ... just none of the 6 or 7 mts stuff that makes shit harder than it has to be. As James is saying you can really control the height, from 110m i can send it in high or really low, they'll both stop ... its just stuff i didn't find as easy to do with the vokeys. If you're in the market for some ... i'm not going to say 'buy now' ... but don't write them off, they're great.
Mizuno has the most underrated brand when it comes with wedges. When you have players with an phenomenal short game (Luke Donald, Keith Mitchell) playing these, it speaks for itself.
Those look incredibly playable. I just purchased the Cleveland wedges full face grooved you reviewed. I do like full face grooved wedges in higher lofts. I may look at the 50° if any retailers carry those nearby. I'd love to hit all to experience the feel. Feel is a key element to the short game l
These wedges are great ..Would like to see a Mizuno wedge up against the Cleveland CBX full face wedge which I here are great. Oh...what shaft were you using here???? P.S. how are the S 23 different from the T 22 wedges.....
Love Mizuno but their pricing in Aust these days, for all their clubs, is ridiculous.. plenty of equally good wedges available at more reasonable prices.
Hey James how about a video about hand size and proper grip size…could use some insight into proper grips…I know it’s not a sexy topic but it is very important…thanks…👍
Those wedges and the Tacomo irons that you played with last year. I thought you did really well them even better then with your mazuno irons James. You used tacomo irons for a long time.
..I'm confused, I don't see a raw finish option in the S23 wedge as available? Only Satin Chrome or Copper Cobolt, both are shown as a durable finish, were these custom in raw?
Mizuno has been making great wedges for a while now James… starting with T20. Honestly, Vokey IMO has underwhelmed lately. Taylormade, Mizuno, and Callaway are starting to make really great wedges. Cleveland has been there all along but for some reason are still underrated.
I put these in my bag after testing them at PGA Show in Orlando. They’re NOT coming out. From a Vokey & TM guy this is high praise. They allow creative shots and also the brainless simple ones. 100!
The Rat Rod of golf clubs, to each his own but it wouldn't matter how good they work or feel, I could never put that raw finish in my bag but that's why they offer different finish options, play what you enjoy!!
@@everybodydothebartman7413 sorry, I understand now. Raw as to the finish. The clubs James is showing on camera are filthy. Chris is always telling James to clean his clubs.
Got to help your ego a bit more, I don't think it is the clubs as much as it is your ability. Take the GOAT for example, I bet Mr. Nicklaus could even hit old persimmon woods, Oh wait he really did and he hit them well. You are a very good golfer and I think you could play well with almost anything.
Couldn't finish watching. I cringed and began to feel my stomach roil, everytime you showed a close-up of those beautiful Mizuno wedges that were absolutely filthy! Sorry for the negativity, but thank you for the review.
@RAF Jose was ready to apologize for not noticing that the wedges were "raw"! Decided to check the Mizuno website and they show the wedges in white satin brushed chrome (which those looked to be) and copper cobalt. Unless they have come out with a "raw" model, as some of Mizunos other offerings (like my T20) the ones James was using, were just dirty. Don't mean to start an argument. Guess I'm just more concerned about taking care of the things I spend my hard earned money on.

Looking to add the Mizuno wedges to my new set of Mizuno irons. Read excited with these clubs. Thanks for the video
You should keep them and send the new ones to Dave. He’s waited long enough, it’s only fair he gets some nice shiny new ones
I've had a wedge that was supposed to rust before, did not see anymore spin, and I was embarrassed to have them in my bag, never again!⛳⛳
@@jeffh.9999 well, if it’s not spinning more, the cover should be in better shape…
It’s proven rusted wedges do not spin more. It is more for looks, no glare, and sometimes better help in wet conditions

Whats the stock grip and shaft on these Kbs Rev 2.0 or the Tt s400?
Lamkin hybrid grip and a kbs reg 2.0 in a 115 gram weight

I've got the T22 Denim copper, but "blend with 923" and "CG at centre, like an iron"? Add Mizuno grinds....????
Looking forward to giving these a try.
What size grips do you use on your irons.
I have a set of their t-22 wedges and love them. My favourite clubs to hit in my bag.
James what is the specs on your stealth 2 fairway wood
I”m still playing my Nike Wedges 56 and 60 I love them.
I had the T20 very good but gone to the Vokey SM9 this season both very good but the vokeys i am more consistent with
Hi, great looking clubs. Is the raw option going to be available to the public?
Hey James. Great wedges. A little soap and water would help them be more consistent. LOL. Keep up the great work. Love watching your videos

Lovely video James and great wedges

The engage wedges were actually better than the s23 wedges, which are proper in their own right

James, I don't know if you have seen, but Peter Finch is looking to find the best golfer on RUclips. Perhaps you should give him a ring...
Are you serious? I don't think Pete's series needs to descend into farce....brought to you by the letters T, I and C
Those wedges and the Tacomo irons that you played with last year. I thought you did really well them even better then with your mazuno irons James. You used tacomo irons for a long time.
I’m torn between the S23’s and the T22’s 😢
James when are you going to collaborate with other RUclips golfers or pro tour golfers and play 18 holes.
Have you seen any other of my videos buddy?
When he gets permission...
It would be helpful when you do a wedge, to show The difference in the grinds they offer. Or perhaps show the grind you.
Cleveland is another wedge that doesn't get enough respect. The new RTX 6 is something special.
..I'm confused, I don't see a raw finish option in the S23 wedge as available? Only Satin Chrome or Copper Cobolt, both are shown as a durable finish, were these custom in raw?
I think these came off the tour truck so probably a tour spec raw finish not available for order.

I agree with others that David should receive the new ones and not the used ones as long as he’s waited. Just two cents.
James,
Why in the past did you say you'd never ever play Mizuno wedges?
Don't be stingy, send them off as I'm sure you have other wedges until those shiny ones arrive from Mizuno 😜😜😜
Cause I forgot I was sponsored by them. Full title 😂
Please clean the clubs. Just think how well they would perform if you cleaned them between shots. Just a thought.

Newsflash.... people think mizuno make great irons (and they do) a wedge is an iron.
Mizuno make great wedges.
Had they been dragged behind a car to the course?
Give them to Gary in the bunker and lets see how good they are..
If it were possible to hit wedges blindfolded, with every different brand out there, I doubt anyone could tell the difference.
It looks like you drug those wedges behind your car on a gravel road to the course.
Does every video title seem HUGELY redundant ?!
