Thanks for your vid. I’m a 7 handicap. I’ve been playing the same Cleveland 900 wedges for nearly 2 decades. I’m decently proficient with them, especially the 60 degree. It’s long past time for new wedges, especially now that I’ve retired and will begin playing multiple times a week (was playing 6 times a year). I’ve been debating these wedges or the blade style wedges. Just don’t know what to do.
I'm about to order the 50 degree as a new gap wedge as I need to really strain my old MD3 52 to close the gap to my new i525 PW which can be a little too hot to chip with as well. based on various reviews including this one (great to see a review of someone that also tends to have a shallow wedge AoA!) I am really thinking this one will be a great one to work with. And also to still give a nod to Mizuno for having me played two of their lovely iron sets before I was swayed to go for Ping. That 59 - C looks interesting too. if I like the 50 I'll probably replace my MD3 58 as well - keeping it as a spare with the high bounce it has for dry conditions . How workable is that 59 for you with the C grind?
Great review! Short, concise and informative! Nicely done IMHO!
I play the S18...I have been waiting for Mizuno to come out with something like it & this looks like it!
Totally agree here. These wedges are awesome. Coming from a SM8 vokey, these are 10x more forgiving and still spin very well
great comments! Getting myself a 54-8 and a 58-12
Have them ,love them , first time out plsying won my Saturday comp

Honestly, I use the 59 seldomly so I don’t need to work too much with it. But for its purpose in my bag it is outstanding.
