* NOTE, ADDITIONAL INSIGHT REGARDING VIDEO: If you’re struggling to remove the hub with some light taps and/or the hub doesn’t want to come out or budge, use a Slide Hammer. If you’re cheap and don’t want to buy one like me, you can always rent the OEM Tools Slide Hammer from Autozone for free: www.autozone.com/hammers/hammer/p/oemtools-5lb-slide-hammer/2047_0_0 …if the hub bearing is extremely bad and bearing is very loose, the slide hammer probably won’t work because it will just pull the hub out of the mount. But if the bearing is still basically fully intact, you can utilize a slide hammer if you’re having trouble.
I was unsure whether to attempt this on mine. But after watching your video I feel confident that I can. Mines been on there since 2013 so wish me luck.
Thank you so much for this video! All I could find was the AWD version. I found it on a forum, but it's always great to see visually step by step. Awesome informative video!
Awesome video looking to do this on my 2017 I just purchased as well as new rotors. Can you tell me where you got the parts breakdown’s with torque specs ?
Good video well explained, but not as easy on a 2010z the abs sensor was the hardest bit on mine, had to break it in the process and drill out the remnants 😅
You did an amazing job documenting this entire video! I just did have one quick question though. What’s the difference between the OEM Hub Assembly (D0202-4GA0JNW) in the video, and this other OEM Front Wheel Bearing & Hub Assembly (40202-4GA0A)? I just want to make sure to get the right one. 😂
I’m honestly not sure lol. This isn’t my car, the bearing I used was provided by the customer and he got it from local dealer. Check out www.coulterpartscenter.com. Best prices on OEM Nissan parts. Just input your vin number and whatever bearing comes up, I would grab that!!
I agree, slide hammer is the tool to use or have! I should have referred to it in this video. This thing was new when I did this job, I wasn’t anticipating it putting up a fight. But if you’re to cheap to buy one, or to lazy to rent one…you can get it done like this in a few minutes.
@@TheOriginalBeeCee same here, I tried doing it your way and after some bloody knuckles and cussing I called my bud so he could laugh. He came over with the slide n said watch. My jaw dropped, took him longer to drive to my house. Live n learn my friend, if your not making mistakes you're not learning. Appreciate the video and response

hardest part was getting the hub to pop out
Always is! Appreciate the comment!
Was there any mention of taking off a cap for the magnetic encoder? I just bought mine and the instructions state to take off a cap on the bearing
Nope not at all. And not outlined in FSM

Appreciate the comment! Google nicoclub.com factory service manuals and you can source the FSM there 👍
Cools really easy! Thanks!! I’ve been looking to get my wife (mainly me) a 370Z overall I’ve heard they are reliable and no major issues.
Haha no doubt 👍

These partnumbers the same for an Infiniti 370GT? (RHD G37)
I’m not 100 percent sure to be honest.
THANK YOU!👍🏾
🙏🙏
what about for the rear
way to much trouble, 5lb slide hammer would have it out with about 3 pulls, buddy is a Nissan tech, watched him do many of them including mine
